 Saransh:Uncle,how can you say that Ashish is the best for Maitree?He fooled you so much.

Mukund:The truth is that I already knew who the real Ashish was.I was not fooled,I was only pretending to be fooled.

Saransh and Maitree were shocked.

Mukund:Renuka had shown me Ashish's photograph before Maitree told me about Ashish. 

Saransh and Maitree were shocked.

Flash back....

Renuka gave a glass of water to Mukund and told him:Our daughter Maitree is in love.

He smiled.

Mukund asked with surprise:Really?Who is that boy?

Renuka:He is the one who took me to the hospital on time.Ashish Tiwari.

Mukund remembered meeting Ashish Tiwari.

He thought:The same boy or what?

Renuka showed him the photograph of Ashish.

Renuka:He is the guy.

Mukund was stunned to see his photograph. 

Mukund:I had met this boy once for Maitree. He has short term memory loss.

Renuka became dull.

Renuka:So he is the guy you rejected because of his memory problem?

Mukund:Yes.

Renuka:Poor guy has memory problem.But he is a very nice boy.These days which youngster takes the trouble to take a stranger to the hospital?

Mukund:You are right Renuka.I was very rude to Ashish that day.I feel ashamed of insulting Ashish just because of the memory problem.I want to correct my mistake by approving of his relationship with Maitree.

Renuka smiled.

Present....

Mukund:After that Maitree told me about Ashish and I told her that I want to meet Ashish.Ashish saw me with Maitree at the restaurant.Ashish thinks that I had not seen him there.But actually I saw him there.After that Ashish rang up and gave an excuse to Maitree for not coming there to meet me.That time itself I understood that Ashish was scared to face me.Later when Ashish's friend introduced himself as Ashish I understood Ashish's fear of getting rejected again by me.I was surprised when Ashish joined my company changing his identity.He tried to prove that he is not worthless like I thought about him.But he did not know that I was already impressed by his nature.After he joined my company I got to know him more and I started liking him more and more.One day knowing that Maitree is not feeling well he took leave lying to me that his mother is not well.I had a doubt that time.So without his knowledge,I followed him and I realised that he went to take care of the sick Maitree.That time I became sure how much he loves Maitree.Still I did not question him about his lies as I wanted to know how far he will continue his drama.But one day he surprised me by revealing the truth to me.

Flash back....

Mukund appreciated Ashish for his good work.

Mukund:You have done a very good job Rajkumar.You are the most honest person I have met.Our world needs honest people like you.

Ashish felt guilty.His eyes became wet.

Ashish:I am sorry sir.I am not honest like you think.I told you a big lie.

Mukund looked at him with a shock as he has not expected Ashish to talk like this.

Ashish:I am actually Ashish.I am Maitree's lover,not Rajkumar who is my friend.I only sent Raj as Maitree's lover Ashish as I was scared to get rejected by you.I did not lie purposefully. I swear.I lied only because I couldn't imagine losing Maitree.I love her that much Sir.But I am unable to face myself because of shame.I can't lie to you anymore.That's why I am confessing the truth to you.But Sir...though I have the tendency to forget things there is one thing which I have not forgotten at all.It's my love for Maitree.

Mukund was touched by his words and smiled.

Mukund:You are the best for Maitree.Because for love,you did a lot.

Mukund hugged Ashish.Ashish was surprised and happy.

Present....

Saransh and Maitree were shocked.

Maitree:Then why did Ashish continue the drama?

Mukund:Because after that Ashish forgot that he had confessed the truth to me.

Saransh:See how terrible his memory power is.He is not good enough for Maitree.

Maitree became irritated.

Maitree:Saransh...stop insulting Ashish for his memory problem.

Saransh:Why are you getting angry with je?You yourself was angry with Ashish.Right?

Maitree:I was angry with Ashish thinking that he is a big liar.But now I understood what circumstance made him lie.He is not bad at heart.My respect for him increased after knowing that he had confessed the truth to my dad.He loves me a lot too.

Saransh:But I also love you Maitree.

Maitree:But I don't love you Saransh.I love only Ashish.

Saransh got angry.

Saransh:One day Ashish will forget you also.That time you will regret.

Maitree:Ashish will never forget me.

Saransh:Then prove it Maitree.

Maitree:Yes..it will be proved.

Saransh:If you fail to prove it,you should marry me.Challenge?

Maitree:Challenge accepted.I will marry you.

Saransh smiled with over confidence.

Renuka:If Ashish proves that he won't forget Maitree you should leave Maitree's life forever.

Mukund:You should never show your face to Maitree.

Saransh:I promise that i will never show my face to Maitree.

Mukund,Renuka and Maitree smiled.

Mukund:Tomorrow I will arrange Maitree's wedding with you.I am sure that Ashish will come there on time to stop the wedding.

Saransh:He will forget to come there.He won't be able to stop the wedding and I will marry Maitree.

Saransh smirked.

Maitree:Let us see.

Lakhan and Avni were sad thinking about Ashish.

Avni:We showed Ashish to so many doctors.Still his disease couldn't be cured.If he was cured he would not have lost Maitree.

Lakhan:I can't understand what will be Ashish's future.He loves Maitree so much that he can't think of a life without Maitree.That's why I am scared.

Avni:I am also worried.But we have to accept our destiny.

Suddenly they heard a voice.

"You don't need to worry about Ashish.Because Ashish will get Maitree".

They were surprised to see Mukund there.

Lakhan:Mukund!

Mukund:I mean it.

Lakhan and Avni were stunned.

Ashish came out of the room.He was surprised to see Mukund there.

Mukund smiled at Ashish.

Mukund:I know that you love Maitree very much.So I want you to marry Maitree.

Ashish was surprised. 

Ashish:Really?

Mukund:Yes.

Ashish:Thank you uncle. 

Lakhan and Avni became very happy.

Mukund:But you have to prove to the world that you will not forget Maitree.

Ashish:How?

Mukund:I have arranged Maitree and Saransh's wedding.Tomorrow is their wedding.

They were shocked.

Mukund:Don't worry.Saransh will never get married to Maitree as I will not conduct the wedding against my daughter's wish.But I want you to come to the wedding venue and stop the wedding and prove that your love for Maitree can't be forgotten.

Ashish:Done uncle.

Mukund smiled.

The next day...

Maitree was dressed as a bride.

Saransh was also dressed as a bride groom.He rang up and told a goon:Kidnap Ashish.He should not reach here.

Goon:Done sir.

Saransh smirked.

The goons hired by Saransh followed Ashish.When they were about to catch Ashish he walked to the near by restaurant and ordered meals.

Ashish got busy with eating food.

The goons chuckled seeing it. 

One goon:This guy already forgot that he has to reach the wedding venue now.

The goon rang up and told Saransh about it.

Saransh laughed.

Saransh:The short term memory patient already forgot that he is going to lose Maitree.You don't need to kidnap Ashish as he is not an obstacle anymore.

Saransh cut the call and went near Maitree.

Saransh:Are you waiting for your Junior Ghajini boyfriend Ashish?Then don't waste your time.He is not going to come.Because he doesn't remember that today is our wedding.Then how will he come here and stop the wedding?

Saransh smirked.

Maitree smiled:Let us see whether Ashish will come here or not.I have full faith in Ashish's love.I am sure that he will come here.

Saransh smiled sarcastically.

Mukund knew the whole time. He was silently watching Ashish.

Ashish did well by revealing his true self to Mukund. That speaks of his character.

For all the things Ashish forgets, he never forgot Maitree.

Why did Maitree accept a challenge like that? She has nothing to prove to Saransh. Let him think what he wants. And marriage?
