Film DEEWAR has biggest and strongest character of mother after Mother India but writer director didn't put "maa song" for the sake of it. And they were right too. But one can't forget such a strong character in one of the greatest film ever made.

So good to see kids performing such songs. The only other Geet Ramayan song I know is 'Janma Mansacha'.

Are you referring to Parādhīna Āhe Jagatī Putra Mānavāçā?


Fun fact: Sudhir Phadke had planned to perform this song in Rāga Darabārī Kānaḍā, but just as he was walking into the studio to perform it live on radio, he turned to Prabhakar Jog and said he would be winging it in a different tune, and the violinist should just play along. Ever since that day, the gem of the 56 songs of Gīta-Rāmāyaṇa has been inextricably linked with Rāga Yamana Kalyāṇa.
