There will be an ambiguity, whom the captain choose from the mentioned 5 impact players, we don't have an idea prior to that moment. So I think , it'll be difficult to predict the impact player in a particular match!!

To make matters simple, if we have Impact Player (CSK), Impact Player (GT), Impact Player (LSG) etc,. also in the drop down list, who are equivalent to any one of those 5 substitutes in any game for that particular team. If an impact player wins and if we pick an Impact player for that match, we will get the points.

I am just thinking out loud here.

If a top order batsman fails to make runs and gets out, the team can replace him with an all rounder, who will bat in that innings and also can contribute during bowling.

If a specialist bowler fails to take wickets, the team can replace him with an all rounder and will use him to bowl and bat as they need.

Of course, there is no guarantee that the impact player will make an impact.😊

Looking at this scenario, I have a suggestion.

Vijay, is it possible to add "Impact Player (Team X)" and "Impact Player (Team Y)", instead of a name, in the drop down list of players in Best bowling, Best batting and Man of the match categories? Members will get to pick players out of 24 instead of original 22.

Barring the likes of Stokes, Pandya.. now teams don't need to keep an alrounder in the playing 11

Pick 7 specialist batters and 4 bowlers if you're batting first, and while bowling, replace one batter (even he scores big) with the specialist bowler from the impact player list

so basically with this rule, now we have a team of 12 players, instead of 11

Can you please mention somewhere the points break down, deadline for toss prediction and deadline for remaining predictions and how we can keep changing the predictions even after submitting the form until the deadline for each match?
