They started their journeys in moviedom around the same time.
Janhvi debuted in 2018 and Tripti in 2017.
Janhvi's debut film 'Dhadak' was a box office success despite receiving mixed reviews from critics. On the other hand, Tripti Dimri's 'Laila Majnu' was well-received by critics but failed at the box office.
I am not saying that actors may who come from privileged backgrounds are necessarily bad actors. Look at Hrithik, Ranbir, Alia, Kareena, Konkona and Rani. they are gems!
But right now, let's compare Janhvi vs. TripIt's journeys, and let's make a case for whether nepotism is at play here or not.
What do you guys think?
I watched Tripti’s movies coz some members here kept hyping her so much and boy am I glad that I did. She is simply amazing. I saw Qala first and then Bulbul. She plays the nuances of the characters so well. I was more impressed with her in Bulbul.
Janvi is so plastic. I find all these new gen nepo babies completely fake in addition to being non-actors.
