Meerub was watching the love story of the Mughal emperor Jahangir and his wife Nurjahan and she was so fascinated that she wanted to visit their tombs, so she decided to visit Lahore.
"Mujhe Lahore Jaana hai", [I want to visit lahore] She declared when Murtasim entered in their room and he looked at her with boring expressions as he knows how childish his wife can be.
"Kya Mai jaan sakta hoon kyun?", [May I know why?] He asked knowing it is going to be another stupid thought which usually comes in her mind.
"Of-course, Mujhe Jahangir or Nurjahan ko dekhna hai", [I want to see Jahangir and Nurjahan] She replied with too much excitement.
"Ab iske dimaagh mein kya khichadi pak rahi hai", [Now, what's going on her mind?] He mumbled to himself.
"Woh log aaj se almost 400 saal pehle exist karte the Meerub, Tum unhe ab nahi dekh sakti", [They were there in 17th century Meerub, you can't see them now] He calmly explained to her like he is taking to a 4 year old.
"I know this Murtasim, and I want to visit their tomb not them", She told.

āLagta hai hume hi kuch karna padegaā, [It Seems like we need to do something] He said to his wife after witnessing these two love birds fighting like enemies.
āPar aap karenge kya?ā, [But what are you going to do] His wife asked.
āInhe sachcha pyar dikhana hoga. Unhe woh kahani khud dekhni hogi ā, [They need to witness the true love, They should see that story with their own eyes] He said with a smile on his face remembering that good old days.
āHamari kahani?ā, [our story?] His wife questioned.
āNahi Hamari Ammijaan or Abbajan ki kahaniā, [Not ours, but my mother and Fatherās story] Jahangir replied with twinkling eyes reminiscing the love story of his parents.
