Most kids get emotionally abused and physically beaten at home and school and by grandparents and maids too in india. That is major reason india is pretty unhappy country some 140 or 150th place.
First child gets shouted at for simple things at home or hit by parents, parent angry on boss hit the child shout at it, mother unhappy that fathers parents are coming hit child, father angry at wife shout at child. And all this happens for 18 years from birth non stop till kids do not leave home. And its all hidden behind culture and family. If child gets 92% and not 95% as parent wants hit child, lock them in bathroom dark room. This is than brushed under culture.
Husband angry on boss and work pressure slap wife or hit child. If husband wife fight hit children shout at them. Is this some joke?
In school too teachers hit or punish children for simple reasons like not doing home work or forgetting a table. All this is brushed aside in name of culture and thats how it happens in asia. Atleast if welfare committee is there parents will be scared to abuse child.
I do not know what happened in norway. But in india its ok for parent to hit child in public too and husband to hit wife or boy friend to hit girl friend in public. No one cats thats why later men get braveness to throw acid or burn same women. Who gives parent or teacher or husband or men at home to raise hand on women or child? Do men never do any mistake they are always 100% corect. And all this is condoned in name of family. What is impact on child and wife or daughter no one thinks? No wonder india is most unhappy country in happiness index as people keep all that angeragainst parents, boss, teachers, elders, husband inside. That is also reason for high health issues like diabetes, heart attack, cancer as all that inner anger leads to all these diseases in long term
Poor kids are helpless as they are easy target for all elders to hit and abuse. They grow up with that anger inside and will remove anger on other youngsters or animals after they are big like their kids or wives or younger sisters. This keeps repeating every gen
Who are parents to decide a child must get 90% or 95% if not punished and abused? Who is teachers to cane or hit child for not getting 90/100 in test or A. Just because they are elder who gives them rights to hit and abuse little helpless kids?
This movie indirecty is glorifying abuse by elders or parents actually. I do not care norway child welfare is corrupt etc but abuse of kids is truth in almost every home of india and of almost every student in school
Even maids and servants think its ok to hit and pinch kids and abuse them
