It would have at least been a fresh pair. Sara and Karthik's bad acting made Lak 2 flop.

Its my guess as sara has signed anurag basu’s metro.. he must hv liked her hence casted her for aashique 3 or kartik must hv recommend her as they hv now become friends and are following each other on insta… just a wild guess
