If anyone's interested, I asked one of my friends who was an extra [at the Ooty location] on this project and they had positive things to say about the film and script, but they were only there for a short while, so we'll see.

This was probably a wrap party.  A lot of productions do it though a bit more low key.  You usually see all the cast and crew (or at least the main cast and director and producer) at some gathering around town.  I think this one seems like a party because it’s a large cast of main leads and because the ladies seem dressed up.
