He's openly out. It's nice that the Archies actually decided to cast a nonstraight person for an actual role that required it. His name is Yuvraj Menda if I remember correctly.

Archies is trying to rebrand to be family friendly. They released a similar webcomic series in the US, and now an Indian Netflix adaptation that is meant to be more teenage-coming of life story.

There hasn't been a show catered to teens in Bollywood since SOTY which was insanely bad story-wise both times.

The actual comics have been taken out of context because of Riverdale.

Sadly due to star system bollywood movies about kids in school don’t sell well as the leads aren’t those superstars.
