He is suspicious of her motives. Now he is under the impression it could be about more than just the store. And Vienna getting added into the mix. It will be a mess all around.

He hung up, rubbed his eyes and spent some time pondering

“What was she looking for?” he wondered

“How are we going to pull it off Sumi?” he enquired as he ate dinner

“Just send her with Anuj? Thapar? And send Pradyut separately, have Anuj return first”

“Who sab to theek hai, but both have to inform each other they are going to Vienna nahi?”

“Maybe we did wrong, Pradyut ko London aur Anuj Taaruni ko Vienna, then we could have recalled Anuj and we c ould have told Pradyut to “wrap up” in Vienna then he could have bumped into Taaruni” Sumedha thought out loud

“Aisa “wrap up” karne laayak koi kaam abhi hai nahi waha, at this point, we are just focused on Iris Gurgaon, Zenith Astro Chandigarh, Dabolim and the Falcon Valley project in Sona”

Sumedha gasped and leaned back tired

“Why are you doing so much Gopal?”

“Matlab? Kaam hai bhai”

“So many large projects?”

“Zenith is our smallest, Pradyut liked the location so we dove in”

“And I have a sweet bahu because of it”

“Back to the issue… I might have screwed up, now Pradyut knows about Vienna and so does Anuj”

They spent the next hour writing down how they would send both to same place different places

“Don’t u have a project in London?”

“None Sumi… Portsmouth mein baat hui, but we never did anything”

“Is it an office building”

“No we bid on a warehouse” Gopal looked at her thoughtfully

“To uske kaam ke liye bhej dein aap?”

“It’s a industrial park property close to Airbus, and some boat maker Ferry something”

“That’s it then, Pradyut can go over there”

“And do what? We paid 3.4 million Euros without VAT, Pradyut was very upset about it”

“I don’t care, bas aap use bhej do”

Gopal laughed

“You really think they are made for each other?”

“I want it to be… I am willing it and wishing for it”

“Anuj ko phir Vienna bhejkar, 2 din mein bula loon?” Gopal asked obediently.

“Yes and then you can ask Pradyut to go wrap up Vienna”

Gopal laughed

“How did you come up with such a plan?”

“London would be good, but if we send him some place where you actually have real estate, Pradyut is not going to relax or take time off”

“Oh I see.. that’s why Vienna?”

“I want him to JUST BE with her”

“Hmm”

He got up and went to sit by her on the couch

“You are pinning all your hopes on that girl… your son hasn’t been very kind to her”

“I know…”

“You are a good parent, instead of shaming him, you are trying to make it work” Gopal choked up

“I cant help but feel, if we had not lost our first born, we might have grandkids today”

“I do too” his eyes glistened

“I want at least three from Pia and 3 from him”

“Pia is at 0”

“I want Pradyut and Taaruni to be happy and have a baby, Pia will realize Taaruni is afterall not a wicked witch”

“You are so naïve”

“Maybe” Sumedha nodded smiling tearfully

“chalo, phir lets do a handshake for the deal, dekhte hain main aur aap kitni hoshiyari se ye plan carry out karenge”

Sumedha laughed, her eyes twinkled

Gopal wanted to give her the world, he didn’t want to see her sad or upset

“A part of me only chases after business because I would lose my mind if I stayed at home and thought about our baby”

“I am pinning all my hopes on this pair” Sumedha nodded as they both stared into the night
