Hope these financial discussions happen for every movie. I enjoyed them and it was good to gain some knowledge. Thanks to everyone in this thread and the other BO one!

Bhai
Official Budget is never out for any film. Basically HIT Verdict will come if Film crosses 125 cr Distributor Share. Reason for that is Actual cost is estimated at 250 cr & if film collects more than 50% of estimated cost from India theatrical it is clean hit. Rest is counted from other sources.
Saaho & 2.0 - Hindi version was given HIT Status on same formula.
We will get more clear hint after 2nd WKND by BOI.
As much as this thread was interesting to read and gain some knowledge on BO numbers, it has also become clear that how certain media section supports their fav PHs and actors.
I am yet to see Brahmastra and no I dont wont the movie to fail but the way the film's PR is working overtime to turn the tide is so fishyyyy.
Anyways, hope to catch the movie soon!
