....and I wonder, ain't Forrest and Jenny's relationship problematic? They had sex but was Forrest capable of giving consent if his IQ was below average?

What do you think? If you don't consider it problematic, how would you feel if the genders were reversed?

Also not telling him he's a father of a kid for five years, and only telling him when she's about to die was such a jerk move.

I've seen another fan theory on the internet that the kid might not be Forrest's, because there's no proof of that shown in the film and Jenny is shown being in relationship with multiple men. Jenny handed the kid to Forrest telling him he's the father, because her kid would have a nice life once she's gone since Forrest is a billionaire now.

I wonder if this theory is true or false because it would turn Jenny into a complete manipulative bitch if it's true. If she had manipulated Forrest like that then it would mean she never loved him, and if she never loved him then she won't have named her kid Forrest.

But then she also loved her kid and worried about who would take care of him after she's gone. So it's also possible that she loved Forrest but again manipulated him for the sake of her kid.
