Which Bollywood films ended with the wrong couple together?

I'm listening to 2000s Bollywood songs again and currently listening to the soundtrack for Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai.

Jimmy Shergill's character was given the wrong ending. Perfect guy but he didn't get the girl.

What did Uday's character have that he didn't? Maybe I need to watch the film again now that I'm older rather than watching the song videos.

Any other films in mind that had the wrong couple end up together?

(P.S - Watching Jimmy in the Jaage Jaage song video gave me butterflies. He's so dreamy )

How could I forget these films?

DDLJ is my fave movie and Raj was just saving Simran.

DTPH- Felt bad for Karishma's & Akshay's characters. Did not like SRK in this movie.

KKHH- Only recently I properly understood that Rahul did not deserve Anjali. Aman was perfect for her 😒

• HDDCS - I hate hate hate hate hate this movie so much.
• KHNH - I wanted Aman to be the endgame.
• Josh - Hated Chandrachur & Aish jodi.
• Hain Maine Bhi etc - Karishma should’ve married Akshay and fly kicked Abhishek Bachan in his vocal chords.

Kabhi alvida na kehna, kuch kuch hota hain, dilse (though technically they both died..but felt bad for preity's character), Taal (toxic couple), Dil kya kare (stupid cheater deserved to rot alone), Chori Chori Chupke Chupke.. many more actually 😆

Biwi No. 1: This film was full of regressive cliches. Karisma should have dumped Sallu's a** instead of trying to win over him again. Not that Sallu deserved to be with Sush, but she had an affair with a married man, so she wasn't a saint either.

Garam Masala: Can't believe Akshay's character gets the girl (Rimi Sen's character), after CHEATING ON 3 girls. I'm not trying to be "woke" but this film hasn't aged well.

Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani: Naina and Bunny were INCOMPATIBLE as f🤬. They probably divorced a couple of years later.

Tanu Weds Manu Returns: Manu shouldn't have gone back to Tanu and left Datto at the Mandap🤪. It was so wrong.

Kabir Singh: The fact that Preeti/Kabir ended up together and had a happy ending, was messed up itself.
