May be right now you can get drugs if you’re well connected in Ahmedabad but it’s still not easily available everywhere in all colleges. 

It’s definitely not as common as US of A. 

I am not second-generation. And as somebody who has a lot of friends in the whole thing, pick the IIT-IIM of your choice, and it is incredibly easy to source marijuana. Some of these corporate retreats for these new age start-ups are basically just marijuana and alcohol. Synthetics and hard drugs, yeah very difficult to find. Marijuana is incredibly commonplace.

I will stop when each and every ABCD on this forum stops discussing India. 

ABCDs ka chhaddo, pados wale bhi India ko discuss karna band kar denge toh meine bhi chup ho jana hai. 

till then, yeh NRI wala tana toh meko farak hich nai padta. 😆

You don't need it to be legal, just decriminalized. With the way things are in states like Punjab and North-East, they would need to decriminalize before they can rehabilitate those addicted. Or they would have to ship half the state into prisons.
