Ahem.. unable to read and write is the definition of illiteracy. If your househelps can read urdu and english they are literate. a person who can read or write even one language is considered literate. 😊

I don't think Sundar was illiterate to the real definition of the word. I guess it was used as term to convey that he is not educated enough (school dropout) and doesn't know how to speak in english. It is sad state of our country where some people consider speaking fluent english as barometer for literacy. thats what must have happened with him.

yes but they cant write just read and speak..

There is difference between writing and reading .

Yes he is not educated enough😅🤣

I would have thrown a punch if sn1 brought out letters like this meeting after years... If 7 they got a degree at 20, but I got mine at 23 as I gave a drop of 1 year after high school

The mysterious way of her saving Imlie and then her fast past narrated..

Most importantly just a sneak purview of one dangal serial observed the roller scene being played... so why not a black magic episode..

sometimes a ghost can even be a helpful ghost to unite Imlie and Aryan

or a thirsty ghost out to seperate Imlie and Aryan

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Malini believed in Imlie and helped her a lot in early days till Aditya declared love for Imlie

Why not Imlie believe in Jyoti and help her tell Aryan informs Imlie that he wishes to marry Jyoti and eventually Imlie confessing Aryan she does love him..

whatsoever way serial is repeat of earlier episodes... nothing special unless Jyoti is indeed a ghost as horror serial trends do exist. The makers / the directors do love science fiction type serials. example Nazaar

Circus can get more sinister

we now also need a strong male villain

did the bestie scenes looked good.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ek baat toh hain

Imlie forgot Tripathi's fully

Tripathi were shown uninvited for Sundar wedding

Sundar aur Arpana ka fight scene hi dikha dete

Aparna aur family ka send off bata dete..

a very shoddy... horrible story telling.. but it is good to convert the serial to horror serial... that is surely nice... as horror serials are entertaining.

They can show Jyoti as Nagin coming from Nagin serial.. to add more spice.

Arpita forgot Arvind fully.. anyways she never ever looked even remotely caring for Arvind... her brother did care for him

Bold: Gaahhhh! Please don't give them such ideas.🤢 Kya pata Universe AKA makers will listen to your manifestations and affirmations. 😆 This PH is obsessed with supernatural already, QH was turne dto horror then some kind of vampire diaries in the end i think 🤢

Bold: I was just about to give this very definition. For a moment there @Doctorsaman had me questioning whether what I understood to be illiteracy all this time was actually wrong.

As far as I remember when Imlie first came to the Tripathis as a maid creatives had Sundar speaking a bit of English but being illiterate. Later when they started the Arpindar track he could no longer speak English but was literate. Now... who knows what he can and can't do?

I think Aditya must have thrown away his brains on his way to Australia and Auntie Blue must have picked them up somewhere. The way she arrived at the conclusion that there is a girl (Jyoti) who will come in between husband and wife (Arylie) is the same clever logic that made Aditya come to the conclusion, with nary a clue, that Aryan was seeking revenge from him for Arvind's death. How both arrived at these conclusions is over my head.

yes u r rite.

I think in this context illetracy means not well educated..

E.g my househelps are fluent in english urdu.and siraiki(a tribal language here in pakistan)

They have a.great accent..as she told.me.she has done some language course..for english

But they never been to school

They didnt know how to write their own name in any of the langugae..

Howeve they can read.....

So this is no edcuation..

Rhi bat sunder ki..to cvs khud bhool gye hain usko kya ata hai aur kya nhi..🤣😅

Well as wander told that speaking english is the measure of literacy sadly in indo- pak..and this is absolutely rite .but since few years while hiring maids for my children i came to know that fluent english speaking maids are easily available..but not educated...

Although me a post graduate doctor plus assitant professor teaching MBBS but no doubt my maid is as much fluent in english as i am 🤣
