Also Yami debuted years after Katrina, Deepika and Kangana. Let's compare her to people in her competition. Many would have agreed nepotism promotion and outsider lock out in the industry wasnt as strong back then.

Audience doesn't go to watch Yami's movies. They went to watch a Hrithik movie, a war movie with Vicky, an Ayushman movie.

Jhanvi's debut was Jhanvi's debut - Sridevi's daughter's. Sara's debut was Saif Ali Khan's daughter's debut.

If Yami is more sucessful than anyone, how come she does not receives so many endorsements? Do not bring nepotism to this.

"Coming back to the performances, while Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar are convincing as their characters (although in Bhumi’s case, the layers of make-up to make her skin dark was a bit of a distraction at first), for me, it was Yami Gautam who stole the talented duo’s thunder with her act as the insecure and ‘innocently’ vain Pari."

But people still went to see an Ayushman movie, not Yami

You know this how? You questioned everyone before they booked their tickets? Every hit movie of hers is not because of her. She was just somehow lucky?

What about Ayushumann's not-so-successful films like "meri pyari bindu"?

C'mon. Now you're clutching at straws. Ayushman had just given a string of hits, and Bala was advertised as an Ayushman movie.

And like I said, even if I'm 100% wrong, and Yami happens to be the most successful actress Bollywood ever saw, the only reasonable conclusion to your argument would be Manish, who has clothed even Kangana, just doesn't like Yami.

Imagine whining about not being given free stuff and acting like that makes you a victim. The audacity and entitlement is wafting off this annoying woman.

It's the designer's prerogative who he/she wants to give free stuff to. They do it based on various concerns. They will give or lend their outfits to people who they think will get them enough free advertisement and exposure. They will also give to people who they genuinely like or have connections with. Very young girls like Ananya and Jhanvi are always preferred because everyone runs after the younger demographic. Designers want their clothes to be seen on 20 year old hot girls because it makes the brand look really hip and cool and trendy.

Yami doesn't fit into any of this. She's neither a big enough star nor is she personal friends with these designers. She's also married and "old" in terms of the fashion world where teenage girls rule.

And frankly, even if she was the biggest star on the planet, if the designer didn't want to dress her, they don't have to. What is with these entitled demands. Nobody owes you anything. There were designers who even refused to dress Melania Trump who was the First Lady because they simply didn't like her or her politics. Who the eff is Yami in comparison?

Yami also had Kaabil and URI before that. Name an outsider in the recent lot of new comes he has clothed. Not someone launched by his bestie kjo.

So do explain why Manish clothes other outsiders, including Kangana, but not Yami.

This is something some people do not understand. You are not entitled to anything from anyone.
