Where the love-story falters?

Apart from the obvious fact that audience haven't seen Gargi-Vishwas love story to develop, the main issue with this whole Gargi-vishwas-daddy saga is that what makers trying to project doesn't go with the characterization.

Daddy: His characterization is of powerful and good-hearted don. The opening scene of father-daugther duo of childhood was pretty adorable, and sums up this relationship. Makers shown him as good father who always think best for her daughter which is understandable as Gargi is brought up without mother. However, a good father would never force her daughter to marry. Have he ever try to make Gargi understand about Vishwas. He just decided to get Gargi married to a guy who she never even met in order to save her from Vishwas.  I would've understand if daddy has bad relationship with Gargi or some uber orthodox or rigid father.

Gargi: So her character is of confident, bold, sensible, and straight forward girl. All goes for a toss when she is with Vishwas. How come a girl like her can be so easily fooled by Vishwas. I am currently watching a show called "Jagannath Aur Purvi Ki Dosti Anokhi" in Sony TV. In that show FL Anokhi has a bf, who is also not right for her, insecure, and what not. But Anokhi keep on going back to him. However, her character is someone who is young, naive, weird and doesnt understand duniyadaari yet. So somehere story goes well with the characterization.

In case of Gargi, she understands world more than Manu. She see through people and can give a strong dose when it is needed. Coming up to forced marriage, again she is not that girl who can so easily scared or give in or agree to do that what she doen't want to do. Daddy said you are going to get married tommorrow, and she also agrees.  Again not convincing. She could've eloped before marriage, why to run away from sasural when you can do the same from mayeka😆. She knows her father that he only show "dabangai" when person before him is not honest, but never bothered why her father doesn't like vishwas. The irony is its Manu is suppose to be naive will reveal Vishwas true love

Vishwas: I am glad makers take the comic route for Vishwas, because character doesn't have the potential to be the serious villain. ðŸ¤£Can't believe Gargi has fallen for such nautanki. The passion and determination with which Gargi believes in her love, doesn't suits with a guy like Vishwas. Such passion needed to be show with a flawed character that how such a guy is boon for Gargi's loneliness. But here Vishwaas is a basic villain who is after Gargi's money, not even some mastermind who can manipulate people easily.

Overall, there are so much of conflicts in charcaterization of these three.

Well, we can't expect perfection ðŸ˜†

As for me, Gargi and her actions are the most confusing. She respects Maurya family and doesn't want her boyfriend to roam around, but she asks Mannu for a private moment with Vishwas in their bedroom

That was so irritating.

She is smart, but stupid with Vishwas, etc, etc...

If I remember well, Mannu asked her why she agreed to marry him. She answered that at the time, she wasn't even sure whether Vishwas was alive.

However, while during the wedding Mannu was reluctant to perform rituals (he realised that she was angry), she looked determined to fulfill what was needed as quickly as possible. As if she wanted to convey that her father can force her to marry some unknown guy, but can't change her feelings.

As for Vishwas, he is so irritating, can't stand him making fool of everyone.

One way you are so intently looking forward to be with love of your life, but since your bf may have died, you've decided to give up and agree to such kind of marriage. Weird

It was gargi who was more hurry in completing the rituals and get over with it.
