Yeah the romance was the best part, more of a slow build up here compared to other SRK movies but it was really well done. You could see the connection since the beginning with how SRK's character focused more on the match & won when he saw Ganga or when she came running to him at the airport. But unlike other SRK romantic heroes he didn't really try to win her over (but still helped her all the time).

Beating up that asshole was the most satisfying part for sure but I also loved his speech after that scene when he just lets it all out in front of Amrish Puri's character who was being delusional throughout the movie.

I miss those intense speeches. My favourite was the confrontational speech between SRK and Amitabh Bachan in Mohabatein. Such an emotional scene, made even more depressing with Aishwarya’s smiling photo is in the background. ☹️

But, when I first used to visit the forum, I didn't know there was a movie called Swades😆 and I thought they were talking about Pardes and I used to be so confused why the people are calling it as the best movie of Srk and hyping it so much....I like it but it surely won't be that good as there are so many other movies better than this..

I still haven't watched Swades😅

I'm not a fan of Mohabbtein tbh but I love all the scenes with SRK and Amitabh, both gave great performances. But the movie is dragged down by focusing on all those boring students and their love stories. The movie would be way better if it focused more on SRK and Aish's romance story.

Would definitely recommend watching Swades, very different type of movie with SRK. It's more realistic, slower paced and he gives one of his best performances.

I agree. I only like the movie because of SRK and Aishwarya. His interactions with Amitabh was the cherry on top. I didn’t give two hoots about the loser students. 😆

Yeah but sadly those loser students a lot of screentime while Aishwarya is completely shafted as a "ghost" so overall the movie is a waste of potential imho. At least there is the iconic humko hami se chura lo song where SRK/Aish are great together.

Anyway what are your favourite SRK movies? Interested to know because I don't see many SRK fans on this forum. I'm always up for more discussion about SRK movies between fans (not the same old whining about his movies9

I edited my comment on the first page and added my list. 😆 Basically chose almost his entire filmography. Kal Ho Na Ho is a weakness of mine. Aman Mathur is pretty much the love of my fictional life. I watch tiktoks every night looking for more SRK edits.

Good list. KHNH is probably the most emotional Bollywood movie for me, I tear up often in the second half & especially the ending (SRK dies quite a bit in his movies but never like this..). Love everything about it. No one could have played Aman as well as SRK, the character is made for him. Preity was amazing too (as was Saif, his interactions with SRK were hilarious), glad Kareena rejected the role.

Love these tiktok edits, they make me want to rewatch his movies again. I'm watching others from the same user right now, he has lots of great ones. Not surprised they are mostly made from his 90s-2000s movies. SRK charm back then was just unique
