Baadshah… even though it’s a bad cocktail of many Hollywood movies, it’s damn funny thanks to Johnny Lever and others…

Swades - wish he did more such movies…

Pardes is great but I wouldn't count it among my favourite SRK movies. It would be among the b-tier like DTPH, PBDHH, Darr, Yes Boss, Don 2, Chalte Chalte etc. so still really good overall.

Some of the characterization in Pardes is a bit too simplistic for me (with Ganga & Rajiv and the way the west is portrayed), the best part is SRK's character with a more restrained performance (until the end where he just lets it all out which is a great scene). Love the Meri Mehbooba song too and SRK & Mahima had good chemistry

I was sighing throughout the movie. SRK and the character he played was so dreamy. I loved the fact that he always had feelings for her but was content with loving her at a distance. Then towards the end when he stops Ganga’s father from hurting her by gripping the sword. 😏 Biggest adrenaline rush is the climax scene when SRK starts bashing the shit out of the KFC looking villain with the Meri Mehbooba song playing in the background. I conceived a miracle child from that scene alone. 😂

Yeah the romance was the best part, more of a slow build up here compared to other SRK movies but it was really well done. You could see the connection since the beginning with how SRK's character focused more on the match & won when he saw Ganga or when she came running to him at the airport. But unlike other SRK romantic heroes he didn't really try to win her over (but still helped her all the time).

Beating up that asshole was the most satisfying part for sure but I also loved his speech after that scene when he just lets it all out in front of Amrish Puri's character who was being delusional throughout the movie.
