Sunshine Productions, a Media House, started in 1998 with an aim of conceiving and creating content in television and in motion pictures. The company was founded in 1998  by Seema and Sudhir Sharma, who successfully built this company into one of the top content development & production house in India, with ‘Miley Jab Hum Tum’, ‘12/24 Karol Bagh’, ‘Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha’, ‘The Buddy Project’ being the landmark shows.

During its initial years the production house was known for creating packaging and promos.It was in 2005, that the company finally got into producing shows.

Sunshine won the prestigious Indian Telly Awards (2010), for being The Most Promising Producers/ Production House and in 2012 won The Best Youth Show Award for ‘The Buddy Project’.

Sunshine Productions started a new company Aganpakhee Social Arts, to produce theater plays as Sudhir has theatre-related history and its first play was Amawas Se Altas.

Hats off to Kunal Karan Kapoor for the way he has made every word in SiDictionary stand out and made such an impact that some of us are using them in our daily lives. The way Kunalji delivered his lines is prize worthy. His expressions and voice modulations stay with you for a long time. He not only brings out layers of his own character, but also highlights the different layers of all the other characters that he has conversations with. 

Through Siddhart we are reliving our childhood memories again. The character is also a mirror to the different phases of growing up. Specially the youth today. The disconnection from the real world and living in your safe bubble, the lack of belonging and how the youth researches everything online and consumes all information which they don't really know what to do about. The outside world seems even more scary and so does growing up. 

SidG is outspoken, free minded and he has an ability to see people for who they are rather than what they are. He doesn't judge and he brings out a smile on everyone's faces and OURS, when he appears on screen. He has a very chillout attitude. But behind that smile, there is pain and the fear of losing the people he loves. There has been so many phases of growth in the character. From arriving to the academy with no purpose in life, to falling in love and the Zidd of proving himself. To realizing that he ended up hurting people he cared about to trying to make amends. Then him joining the academy and finding his aim. He wants to help people. 

SidG is the most Ziddi Dil character on the show and we have seen the good and bad side of being Ziddi through Siddhart. When your Zidd is taken in an emotional moment, when you just want to prove something and act out of zidd and emotions. The jail sequence and then when Zidd is with aim to achieve something. I believe having a Ziddi dil is important for survival, it keeps you going and it gives you hope and faith. 

The nuances Kunal Karan Kapoor brings to his performances make you connect with Sid and the character's journey becomes yours. I believe when an artist manages to separate the actor from the character and you as a viewer are watching to follow the character's journey and as you get to know the character more, he becomes a part of you, then the artist truly transcends the art of acting. Kunal Karan Kapoor has done that, once again.

Sid and Sanju are the two characters that have had a massive transformation on the show. We have seen Sid maturing and trying to be a better vision of himself. Sanju is breaking the wall around her and with help from Sid a small hope has awakened. She is now smiling! Their conversations are something we look forward to because it gives us an insight into their past, mind, and emotions. Besides this, there are so many beautiful symbols to look into and you have a satisfied smile when you watch them. Their relationship has come a long way, from breaking the stereotype to building a friendship based on trust and support. The beauty that springs from their relationship is, that even though they come from two different worlds, there is an understanding. They meet in the middle as equal partners, as a team. 

Sid may be sensitive, but Sanju doesn't judge that. I kind of love that! Very few men have the guts to show their vulnerable sides and the few who do... Big applause to them. I also love that the show doesn't show a sensitive man to be weak, but he is mentally stronger than all of them put together. Besides if needed, Sid can roar like a lion and is ziddi enough to stand his principles.

Today undoubtedly SiMi stole the episode 🙌 Being civilians they had their limitations still the way they tried their best that's commendable. Few nuances I really liked coming to that later on overall Siddharth-Monami made their fans proud today ✋ 


You can criticise Koel but you can't hate her. She is wrong but the way she is just being a MOTHER you are bound to get carried away with emotions and FEEL for her 💔 Kudos to Simple 🙌 Mendak ki mom has my heart ❀ 


Monami told Sid how Karan not gonna trust her after whatever has happened between them but in front of Jigar she said backup team from Parakram coming soon. May be a defence but somewhere she knew eventually HE WILL COME 🙌

OS : Monami ki shaadi


Parakram SAF

“Aaj Doctor Madam ki shaadi hai”, said Bala to Chitra. 

They were busy in gossiping with Sumanji and Premji in Chitra’s room but this was overheard by Sid who was passing from there.

“Aaj Monu shaadi kar rahi h ? Aur mujhe nahin bataya? This is not done bro”, Sid was so hurt and angry on his Monu bro that he didn’t notice Sanjana who was coming from her room and Boom!  

He collided with her and fell on the floor.

“Oye chirkut, pagal hai kya? Dekh ke na chal sake h”. said Sanju to Siddharth but he was busy in his thoughts as he didn’t even notice that Sanjana, his love was there in front of him which made her frown at his ignorance.

She was getting super annoyed yet she noticed that he is disturbed by something so she decided to ask what was bothering him.

“Ka hogo chirkut ? Kahan khoya hua hai? Aisa ka hogo?” Sanjana asked breaking SidG’s train of thoughts.

“Monu bro is getting married. Mujhe jana hoga. Bye!!”. Sid said while running away from there.

“What the hell!?”. thought Sanju, “Chirkut pagla gaya hai ka? Kuch bhi bolta h! Par wo keh rahi hai toh sach hi hogo! Wo doctoron ke lano kabhi mazak nahi karta”. She pondered thoughtfully with a small frown and walked out from there.

“Yr bohot din ho gaye hai hume kisi shaadi ka invite nahi aaya hai. Hum shaadi wale khaane ko bada miss kar rahe hai!”. Faizi told Karan to which he shook his head at his antics but unfortunately or fortunately this was heard by Sanju.

“Phir toh aapki khwahish jald puri hone wali hai, Faizi sirji”. Sanju told Faizi making him and Karan confused .

What was she talking about, thought both of them.

“Kya Sanju tum shaadi kar rahi ho?” asked Faizi, which further confused Karan.

Was she getting married with that Kundanji? He thought .

“ Sacchi Sanju? Par tu toh keh rahi thi ki tujhe shaadi nahin karni or wo tere ek saal ka kya hua?”.asked Karan. 

“What’s this thing about one year? Yeh dono humse kya chupa rahe hai? Patalagana padega ! Par agar Sanju ki shaadi nahi h toh kiski hai?” Thought Faizi. 

Poor him! He was so confused then.

“Arre nahi sirji! Ka bol rahe h aap dono? Humari shaadi kahe ke lane!? Hum shaadi nahin kar rahe hai!” says Sanju much to Karan and Faizi’s relief.

But then who was getting married? That too today?

“Toh kaun shaadi kar raha hai Sanju?” Faizi questioned Sanju to which Karan nods, glancing at her inquisitively.

“Arre wo doctorni shaadi kar rahi hai aaj, chirkut ne bataya hume.” Sanju explained, listening to which Karan face fell.

In Chitra’s Room

 â€œKya!? Monami shaadi kar rahi h? Aur usne hume bataya bhi nahi?” said Sumanji.

“Wohi to #not fair Monami! Tumhe aisa nahi karna chahiye tha!”. Chitrashouted.

“Wohi toh ! Aisa toh kabhi mere show Maa ke poot mein bhi nahi kiya kisine!”.told Premji to everyone present there.

“Sahi kaha aap sabne! Agar maine bhi Doctor maddam ko baat karte nahi sunahota toh mujhe bhi yakeen nahi hota ki woh hume aise dokha dengi.” says Bala.

“#Cheater Monami!! Hume abhi usse baat karni hogi. # Let’s go guys”. Chitrasaid to which everybody nods and went out of the room.

In the corridor 

Faizi and Sanju were in shock by seeing Karan’s reaction which was hilarious and they should laugh at that but no they can’t because it can be hilarious if it’s someone else on Karan’s place but this is Karan, their Karan and something was wrong with him. Karan stood up and went to god knows where ,which forced both the special agents to come out of their state and they also went behind him.

Sid checked all the places where his Monu bro could be but didn’t found her anywhere so he thought to call her.

Oh no! I don’t have my mobile but today we can go out so I can have my mobile, I should go to Ustadji, thought Sid and went in search of Ustaadji.

Ustaadji was in the Mess and Koel was also there with Nikhil. It turned out she also wanted to go out with Nikhil .

“Ustaadji jaldi mera mobile dijiye! Mujhe Monu ko call karna hai. It’s urgent!”.Sid said in a hurry much to Ustaadji and Koel’s concern. Special agents also heard his tone and thought this was a serious matter. 

Karan had come to eat biryaani cause he is so confused with all the emotions which has come out since he heard the news of Monami’s impromptu wedding. So he thought first thing he should do is to eat biryani which will help him to calm down and then he can think what to do with the situation. But Faizi and Sanju were in dilemma of what to do?  Laugh or stay shocked?  Karan’s behaviour is so weird and why he has he come to the mess after listening about Monami’s wedding. What in the world was happening? 

Before they can ask anything they heard Sumanji’s voice.

Apparently cadets have also come to the mess after searching for Monami or Sid but they were not anywhere. 

Finally they found Sid in the mess and heard what he said to Ustaadji.

“Sid tumhe Monami ko call kyun karna hai?”.asked Sumanji which was basically the question of everyone present there.

“Ustaadji jaldi phone dijiye na! Woh kya hai na sumanji aaj shaadi hai or Monu bro pata nahi kaha gayab hai mujhe bina bataye.”. Said Sid without knowing what he was talking.

“Oh so Monami and Sid are getting married!”. Thought our special agents and cadets.

“Monami , shaadi, gayab , Sid kya kehna chahti ho? Clearly batao please! Or tum aur Monami shaadi kar rahe ho? Yeh kab decide hua?” Asked Koel much to Ustaadji and Dilbaghji’s relief who were getting mad with all the nonsense.

“Mai or Monami shaadi kyun karenge, Koel? We are best buddies and not getting married. It’s Monu bro who is getting married, that too today!”. Sid explained to everyone and asked for his phone.

Bala gave ‘I told you so’ look to Chitra, Sumanji,and Premji. Whereas Sanjana heaved a sigh of relief and Faizi was looking towards Karan who was looking like someone has prohibited him to eat biryani. 

While Koel was confused and Ustaadji gives Sid his mobile as fast as he can. And Dilbaghji was feeling happy that his Monami puttarji was getting married. But with whom and why in such hurry, were the questions bothering him.

Sid dials Monami and Faizi asked him to keep the phone on speaker. 

“Haan Sid! Bol ?” Monami’s voice came. 

Why is Rani Sahiba so happy? Karan thought bitterly but why was he so anxious? He had no answer to this question.

“Kya baat hai Monu bro? Tu itni khush kyun hai ? Or ye bata, tu hai kaha hai kabse tujhe dhundh raha hoon!”. Asked Sid .

“Woh mai parlour aai hu Sid or khush toh mai bohot hoon tujhe aake batati hoon!”. Said Monami and she cut the call.

All were shocked and beep beep was the only sound which can be heard.

“Matlab Monami sacchi mein shaadi kar rahi h and wo parlour mein ready hone gayi hai!!”. Said Koel to which everyone nods and feels happy that their friend was getting married today and all these questions about with whom or why so sudden could be asked later. But Karan was feeling so angry that he could kill the person Monami was marrying and in anger went out from there leaving everyone shocked at his gesture. 

“How could she? Why she is doing this? I know I rejected her but I told her the reason na. Then why? Use mujhe convince karna chahiye tha na par nahin yaha toh Rani sahiba ne dusra banda bhi dhundh liya or shaadi bhi kar rahi h woh bhi aaj”. All these thoughts were irritating our khadoos Shergill. 

“Aaj nahin toh kal mai toh haan bolne hi wala tha na toh phir itni kya jaldi thi une haan karne ki”. Karan is getting mad cause of his Rani Sahiba but that was not the only reason which is making him angry and anger is not the only emotion which he is feeling right now. There is pain too which he is ignoring very gracefully.

It’s been almost 5 hours since SiMi’s talk and Karan was very upset and angry that no one had dared to go anywhere near him. On the other side,  Sid was also upset that his Monu bro didn’t tell him anything about the guy or her marriage for he deserves to know and being his Monu bro’s wedding, while others were thinking how to get a party from Monami.

Monami comes to the academy at night unaware of the storm waiting to hit her.

Chitra saw her when she reached near her and shouts Monami #wait to which Monu stops and others also comes after hearing the chaos.

“Ha Chitra kya hua. Tum aise cheekhi kyun”. Asked Monami and then looked around some seem excited and Some are confused as well as happy seeing her. But sid was bit upset and karan he seems very angry and was looking at her like she has done some big crime. But Before anyone can speak

“Aaiye Rani Sahiba aaye”, karan said. “ waise badi jaldi shaadi khatam ho gayi, or hai kahan wo”. Poor Monu was so confused with Karan’s questions and his tone as well while others were waiting for her response.

“Shaadi? Aur kon woh”? Questioned Monu. She was so confused with all this and wasn’t understanding a single word said by karan.

“#Not fair Monami, tumne shaadi kar li or hume apni #dear hubby se bhi nahi milwa rahi”. a very upset Chitra says to Monu.

“Haan Monami kaha hai woh jisne tumhara dil jeet liya, hume bhi toh milwao”. Said sumanji.

“Doctor madam hume na badi wali party chahiye”. Chirped Bala.

“Ye sab uchit keh rahe hai Monami, hume party bhi chahiye or tumhare jeevanasathi se bhi milna hai”. Premji says to Monami.

“Ye sab itni jaldi kaise ho gaya Monami or tumne kisi ko bataya bhi nahi”. Asked Koel.

“Not done Monu, not fair I am your best buddy, your bro aur tumhe pyaar hua tumne mujhe nahi bataya or nahi ye ki aaj tumhari shaadi thi. Hum dono toh ek dusre se kuch nahi chupate na phir tune mujhe kuch kiya nahi bataya”. Complaint sid in sad tone he was so hurt with his Monu bro’s behaviour.

Monami tried to say something but they are not letting her speak. 

It’s been just one week when she confessed her love for me and today she got married with someone else, thought karan how could she.

“Arre Monami- tsunami jaldi bolo na suspense kyun badha rahi ho. Humse or wait nahi hota tumhare soulmate se milne ka”. Said faizi and looked at karan who looked at him with so much anger at his words which makes it difficult for faizi to control his laughter cause somewhere he knows that all this is just a misunderstanding and nothing else so he thought to took a jab at karan.

“Hume lagto hai ki hume Monami ko bolne dena chahiye”. Sanju said, finally someone is saying something logical thought Monami.

“Thanks Sanju. Aur aap logon se kisne kaha ki meri shaadi ho gayi hai. Aur sid inka toh samajh aata par tumhe bhi yahi lagta hai ki mai shaadi kar lungi or tujhe nahin bataungi. Bro tere bina meri life mein koi important kaam nahin ho sakta”. Clarified Monu. And looked at all in question. Karan took a sigh of relief for god knows why. But leave all that he is happy right now and don’t want to think about all this.

“Wo Sanju ne”. Karan and faizi said at the same time.

“Sidhartha/Sid ne”. Again sanjana and Koel speaks simultaneously. Monami looked at sid in question.

“Wo mai apne room me ja raha tha toh maine Balaji bro ko bolte hue suna ki aaj tumhari shaadi hai”. Replied sid to which Monu looks at Bala.

“Maine aapko baat lete hue suna tha Doctor madam ki aaj aapki shaadi hai”. Bala says making Monami confused at his question and karan raised his brow at her. All looked at Monami for explanation. But the she realised what Bala was talking about. In the morning she got a call from school friend who was getting married with love of her life next week. After talking to her friend she was feeling sad and was talking to herself that if karan has accepted her proposal then she would also have make calls like this to her friends but her bad luck, her love has remained unfulfilled.

“Wo toh Bala mai apni friend se baat kar rahi thi uski shaadi hai next week to wo mujhe invite kar rahi thi or tumne wohi sun liya hoga or kuch or samajh liya. And Sid tujhe bhi toh Diksha ka call aaya hoga ki uski wedding h next week. Explained Monami to which Sid nodded. While Everyone else was angrily looking at Bala.

“Acha mai bohot thak gayi hoon toh room mein ja rashi hu rest karne. Good night everyone”. Monu said and turned to go when she heard karan.

“Arre Dinner toh karlo phir chale jana”. Karan said to her. Why he is smiling that much thought Monu kahin ise, kuch bhi mat soch Monu.

“Woh maine bahar kar liya tha Thanks”. Monu said and smiled then went to her room. 

After that karan also went from there. Sid also went behind his monu bro to plan about their friend’s wedding. 

Faizi was very happy in all this as he got a chance to tease karan. Chitra, sumanji, Premji were very angry at Bala and to save himself Bala also left the place to hide while others went to chase him. Koel and Sanju looked at each other and bursts out in laughter.

KarMi OS: Drunk Karan? 


"Yeh toh world ka 8th wonder hai! " Sid exclaimed in excitement as Karan stumbled on his way to sit on his bed. He was utterly drunk as his drink was spiked in a certain party that he had attended on Colonel Batra's insistence.

"Nahi Sid, yeh ek bohot badi breaking news hai! Ham abhi sab record kar lete hai. Kya pata kab kaam aa jaye! " Faizi said in an excited tone.

"Special Agent faizi agar yeh gustaakhi aapne ki toh mai yaani Special Agent Karan Shergill tumhe puri academy mei sprint karwaayega!" Karan sloppily said with drooping eyes but grinned by the end of his statement.

"Dekho toh janaab ko! Khud theek se khade hone ki himmat nahi hai lekin dhamki dene se abhi bhi baaz nahi aaya yeh! " Faizi said in a bit furious tone which Karan royally ignored.

"Chodo bhi Faizi bro! Mere paas ek bohot accha idea hai! " Sid said as an idea struck his head.

"Kya? " Faizi asked while Karan uttered some gibberish.

"Amazing! Chalo plan execute karte hai! " Faizi said once Sid explained the plan to him.  Together they both walked out leaving Karan on his own though Karan was too involved in his own self that he hardly noticed.

"Karan tumhe mujhse koi kaam hai? " Monami said walking inside the room a while later.

"Haa shaayad! " He answered not sure of his own answer.

"Mai kucch samjhi nahi! " She replied back in confusion.

"Mai bhi nahi samjha kucch! " He said in return making her furious at his stupid talks.

"Tumne pi rakhi hai kya Karan? " She asked him.

"Haa shaayad thodi si! " He said making a cute face.

"What? " She got surprised at his answer.

"Itna shocking reaction kyu de rahi ho? Ab insaan gam bhulaane ke liye pi bhi nahi sakta kya? " He blabbered while fake crying for more effect. She got utterly confused at his behavior but one thing she was sure of was that he was totally drunk.

"Tumhe konsa gam hai jise bhulaane ke liye tumne alcohol li? " She asked sitting across him on bed.

"Umm woh yaad nahi aaraha! Yaad aayega toh bata dunga mai! Promise!" He said before trying hard to remember but couldn't remember a thing.

"Offo Karan! " She huffed out in anger.

"Haa! " He said in an alert tone.

"Nahi kucch nahi! " She said before marching towards the door but got surprised on finding it locked from outside.

"Sid darwaaza khol! " Monami yelled while knocking the door.

"Sid darwaaza khol! " Karan yelled in an attempt to mimic her.

"Sid mujhe pata hai tu baahar hai! Mazaak mat kar! " She said ignoring Karan's voice but Karan being Karan again mimicked her.

"Tum mujhe copy kyu kar rahe ho Karan? " She asked while walking back towards him.

"Tum mujhe copy kyu kar rahe ho Karan? " He said.

She sighed while sitting down on the bed. He sighed as well seeing her doing that. She knew his antics were melting him but she kept on denying it.

She glared at him and he glared back at her. She then touched her hair and messed them a bit. He too did the same but ended up looking hilarious. She laughed seeing him and he too laughed, not because he wanted to copy her but because her laugh was contagious and he wanted to join her even when he was the reason behind her laugh.

"Karan! " She said finally running out of patience.

"Karan! " He mimicked her tone.

"Mujhe already bohot gussa aaraha hai Sid pe, aisa na ho woh gussa tum pe nikal jaaye! " She told him.

"Toh nikaal do gussa! " He mumbled.

"Huh? " She asked in confusion.

"Apna saara gussa mujhpe nikaal do Monami lekin please mujhe ignore mat karo! " He requested her.

"Mai tumhe ignore nahi kar rahi hu Karan! " She said trying to not melt down at his tone.

" Saaf jhooth! Toh jab mai tumhe explanation dene chaahta tha toh mujhe trap kyu kiya words mei? Tumhe pata hai ki mujhe emotions express karne mei dikkat hoti hai par fir bhi tumne mujhe trap kiya taaki mai kucch bol hi na saku! " He accused her of the thing which was paining him since days.

"Kya explain karna tha tumhe? Huh? Sirf tasalli dete tum mujhe jo ki nahi chahiye mujhe! " She said quite coldly this time.

"Nahi dena chaahta tha tasalli tumhe mai! Woh explanation entirely different tha lekin tumne bina jaane hi judge kar liya mujhe!" He said making her guilty of behaving that way with her.

"Kya explanation tha Karan? " She whisper asked him.

"Ab kyu sunna chahti ho? Jao jo sochna hai sochlo! Mai nahi bataunga!" He said in a fake angry tone looking away.

"Karan please! Mai us waqt naraaz thi! Mujhe khud samajh nahi aaraha tha ki apne aap ko kaise handle karu? " She said in a teary tone.

"Toh dost kis liye hote hai Monami? Jab ham kamzor pade tab hame wohi dost sambhaalte hai lekin Monami tumne toh mujhe us kaabil bhi nahi samjha! Apni zindagi se ek pal mei baahar nikaal diya woh bhi isliye kyuki maine tumhe reject kar diya! Rejection ki wajah tak jaan ne ki ek baar bhi koshish nahi ki tumne! Kya ab mai itna bura lagne laga hu tumhe? " She got numb listening him. He was too hurt by her and she could feel it seeing his face.

"Hurt sirf tum hi nahi hui thi. Mai bhi utna hi hurt hua tha Monami jitna tum hui thi. " He told her with fresh tears in his eyes too.

"Uhh...wohh... " She stuttered to find words at the moment.

"I love you Monami but tumhe mai sirf dard de sakta hu, khushiyaan nahi. Ek commando hu mai, life already bohot tough hai meri. Mai tumhe woh zindagi nahi dena chahta jo meri bhabhi guzaar rahi hai. Bas yahi soch ke tumhe reject kiya tha lekin tumhaari ignorance bardaash nahi kar paa raha hu mai. I am sorry." He explained to her softly making her understand his side of story.

"Karan jab ham kisi se pyaar karte hai toh woh ham choose karke nahi karte hai, cheezei organically hoti hai. Mai tumse bohot pyaar karti hu. I know tum mujhe khushiyaan dena chaahte ho par karan meri khushiyaan toh tumhaare saath mei hai. Tum nahi toh khushiyaan bhi nahi. " She told him truthfully.

"Soch lo Monami! Baad mei mat kehna ki warn nahi kiya tha maine! " He tried to warn him.

"Soch liya! I love you Karan! " She said  to which he gave a full blown smile to her.

"I love you too Monami! " He confessed making her immensely happy.
