Sooryavanshi had 50% capacity and released with biggie eternal still it did 200 cr, 83 released on christmas biggest holiday of the month it failed whilst other movies are still collecting. Ranveer is a star no doubt but not a superstar, he needs develop mass fan following also. Also his fans compared him to akki lool, akki made careers out of small time producers and directors plus he doesn't get the media or film faternity support but he still continues to succeed. Ranveer has a long way to go.

The PM, powerful as he may be, cannot force people to go watch a film in cinemas.

Before Covid too Ranveer never got big openings. Opening determines stardom, lifetime determines the quality of a film.

Among young ones he is definitely a superstar.

He may not be as big as Salman or Akshay but success of Simmba, Ram Leela, Padmavat, Bajirao Mastani, arr enough to put him in A list and a bigger brand among younger lot of male actors.

Amused why he is bashed here and people are still hung up on 90s raisins still playing heroes opposite girls of their daughters' age.
