Aishwarya is just a pretty face you use for aesthetic on Pinterest board or fan account pfp, No one per say goes just to watch her. (If anyone comes with Ponniyin Salven I'm gonna throw a fit, that movie would have earned the same amount with Nadhiya or Ramya)

Rani in her second innings comes with a guarantee of good script, it's not star pull just safe choice. She does have a certain audience pull not denying that but she didn't connect with newer generation as a heroine.

While people do pay to watch Bebo. She been casted automatically makes picture an A list entertaining movie. She was typical heroine material and still is. She has somehow managed to connect with 3 gens as THE heroine.

Obviously no one can compete with the stardom Ash has enjoyed at her peak, both in India and on the international platform as well, her stardom was matchless among all of her competitors that time, followed by the audiences' darlings Kareena.

Rani genuinely comes at third spot after Ash and Kareena as far as stardom is concerned. Every unbiased bollywood buff has this knowledge/understanding about the stardom of these three. (Although Rani was also very popular ).
