why can't they make the show like the 1st Yrkkh

Have been watching the first generation of YRKKH episodes. Such beautifully handled relationships... I hope they give importance to relationships again in this generation.... no villains.. no revenge..pls ! Only bad situations ..Ppl were so nice in the first season...

A few concepts of first season are outdated now. I remember Akshara fighting for even basic rights like not wearing ghunghat, going to office and driving. They can't really show those now.

But I agree that relationships were shown realistically and there were no villains as such. Just characters with slightly grey shades who were made to understand and realize and everything was fine again. Also, as of now we're only interested in Akshu and Abhi. Other character storylines have not yet been developed. yrkkh is also about other characters so I hope they come up with something interesting.

I do wish they had gone for arranged marriage route for abhira because that would have made more sense and it would have felt natural too.

However, I dont think they can make it as simple as first generation because times have changed and today I have noticed, simple and clean stories just dont work. I mean back then we used to have problems like Akshara not being able to make kheer or her hairtsyle getting in the way of her shaadi ka lengha. Ab yeh stories kaha chalegi 😆

The fact yrkkh is running despite not being ott is shocking enough.

Because now shows don’t run without being Ott. Gen was was relatable and they had simple everyday issues. Gen two still maintained that originality to a certain extent till like 2019 and after that everything went downhill Yrkkh became the typical itv show. This gen story we can’t have expectations of it being like old yrkkh when it’s literally a remake now. Even Harshad said it was presented to him as a new show. They’re just keeping the Yrkkh name and songs and certain traits to try and keep the audience of that the show gained pre gen 3.

I loved the first season till extramarital affairs started showing up.

Anyways, Am a Hina Khan fan saw her transform from a pretty and ordinary girl to become absolutely stunning. What a journey it was for her and us.

Well personally for me, if they make AbhiRa like Naitik/Akshara of season 1 while maintaining Abhi's emotional side, and Akshu's quirks that make her oh so cute, I will be a happy camper. Naitik Akshara's love story was amazing - simple, soulful, beautiful - they held forte for 8 long years without a single seperation/remarriage/divorce.. so I'll be super duper happy watching this if AbhiRa go the NaKsh way!

But like others pointed out, the era of simple love stories is gone I guess - toh drama toh hoga. Dekthey hai what they do here.

Honestly, When RS made the first batch of YRKKH, it was the time when EK serials were a rage and the same complicated dynamics were shown in her serials. But then YRKKH with its simple story came like a whiff of fresh air and took over ITV. It became a rage .

And why is the other RS show on Star plus getting 4 plus TRPS.. Its a simple show .. Pls understand people like simple gharelu stories like our gharelu doctor... and the first season did last 8 grand years... why can't we do this again?

Akshara Naitik never got divorced/separated.. rather their togetherness was their USP
