Yet again we are served with the same old story. Nothing new other than bringing new leads. I just don't understand why ITV shows degrade women so much that too for a man. Seriously bring something new other than stupid love triangles. Let's not forget the FL has to be the mahaan abala nari and the parallel lead has to be a biiiiiotch whose only job is to conspire against the lead, or else how will we understand the FL's mahantaa. Can we stop embellishing the idea that women are women's worst enemy and focus on universal sisterhood? Yeh Rishta only says one thing, and that is women have no substance without a man. Aarohi who is so highly educated and is a doctor is gonna sideline everything to only conspire against her sister. Aakshara who is a great singer will also sacrifice everything for her sister. And then at the end when the next generation on Yeh Rishta (which will be another 5-6 years) will start, Aarohi will understand her mistake and seek forgiveness, and our mahaan FL will forget everything and forgive her.

I would have liked if they actually showed some genuine love and affection between both the sister despite knowing that they don't share the same mother. There are already so many cultural stigmas associated with half and step-siblings, and rather than trying to remove such thoughts, they are feeding more of its existence into the audiences' heads. Utterly disappointed and all my excitement for this show is gone in an instance of a couple of episodes.

I never watched Yeh Rishta first and 2nd generation, but since they started a new story, I thought I would give it a try, but alas it was just another love triangle. Apologies to anyone who are a fan of the show...my intention was not to be negative but to vent out some frustration for a show that I was half excited for.

So are you continuing to watch or have you given up? Its becoming more typical everyday. I continue in the hope that rajan shahi's production might not be completely hopeless. And because of kairav and to see what they are going to do with aarohi. If it's going to exactly follow the bengali serial.. Dil kahega kahin se latak jao!!

don’t raise your hopes too much, they have already started to set the background for a major misunderstanding,The starting of kaira was much more happier and enjoyable than this,it was full of light hearted moments. I have a feeling that this generation is going to be much more messier and depressing then kaira was in their later phase
