Saara khel consent ka hai

So finally we get the word being used by a lawyer in the T house to tell them why despite everything, their GB is wrong. He uses the golden word - Consent. Funnily the forum has been talking about this very word in many of the threads (AY made one to discuss this very issue just yesterday) and looks like the makers have also spelt out to the general public as to why they are following this track.

While the episode overall moved the story ahead, there was a lot of eye rolling moments that were just plain annoying as well.

The episode starts where we left off, where everyone tries to convince Imlie to take back the FIR, while trying to convince her about the family's izzat. Adi seems quiet till a point, where then he just decides to take Imlie along to take the case back. But Imlie toh Imlie hai - she refuses to go. Adi is stunned that she is not listening to him, bade pati wale tever aa gaye mahashay main as soon as his wife was back. He decides to take her along with him outside the house, and when Imlie questions him, he specifies that he is taking her with him to the police station to take back the FIR. Imlie stands her ground that she is doing no such thing. 

Adi is flummoxed at seeing Imlie so stubborn, as he is not able to comprehend that why she would do such a thing with her own sister who did so much for her and their relationship. See this is where his ostrichpana stems from. Malini's past actions cloud Adi's vision so much that he is not able to wrap his brain around the fact that the person he knew for so long and has done so much for him (according to Adi only) can ever do such a ghatiya kaam. He still would rather believe that Malini was also drunk, so the onus should have been Adi's to not allow this dhoka to happen. He is not able to comprehend that Malini would purposefully take away his agency and make him believe that something happened. Imlie is adamant that she will fight for justice, as she knows that just because Adi is a guy, he cannot be held responsible for something that happened to him without his consent. She keeps trying to make him see reason that he is underestimating Malini, as she is capable of doing what Imlie is saying, and in that case Adi has been wronged, for which she will get justice.

Anyway, Adi then explains as a journalist, he has always ensured that before writing a story he has all the required proofs in place, to ensure that after publishing the story, he cannot be prosecuted for publishing falsity. He tries to explain to Imlie that the proof she currently has will not hold up, as it does not prove anything. Somewhere this conversation also felt like a clash between Imlie's idealism and Adi's real world experience. The guy is trying to protect his wife from further misery, as he knows that the real word does not run on idealism, it needs proof to prosecute anyone. 

We then get a lot of C family discussions, where Desai uncle makes an appearance to reassure everyone that there is no case against Malini. DC tries to probe Malini to find out if she did something wrong (not that he will anyway do anything about it), but Malini deflects everything with support from her mom who calls the night "normal stuff" between husband & wife. DC tries to remind her that Malini is Adi's wife only on paper, but as usual everyone ignores him - furniture kahin ka😆

The one benefit to this case seems to be that the swap has happened again, where Mitthi seems to be at the T house, while Malini is back at her house, temporarily hi sahi😆. The T elders seem to be having a conference which is joined by NN, who tries her level best to drive some sense into their heads. I loved how she echoed the fandom's sentiments when she said that "Ghar se Kalini, sorry Kala saaya hatt gaya"🤣. Adi right now is in deep trauma to make sense of what is happening around him. Aparna quips that what happened would have been consensual, to which she gets a dirty look from Adi😆 and a token sdefense from Rupi di. The door rings to signal of the Kala saaya coming back along with her instigator. Un dono ko dekhkar Aparna & Radha aise khush ho gayi, jitna khush toh tabh bhi nahi thi, jab uska beta maut ke muh se waapas aaya tha. Adi apologizes to Malini on Imlie's behalf, as he feels he is the guilty party here, but as usual, Malini plays mahaan saying that he need not apologize for someone else's galti🤢. AC gloats that jhoote case main bail milna is very easy and tries to order Imlie to take back the case. Bechare BK to get on AC's good books, supports her by saying that this dheet (meaning Imlie) is not even listening to Adi, thus adding more fuel to fire. AC uses that as ammunition to taunt Imlie that she would not even get a lawyer for herself, when KC maroes entry like the supposed knight in shining armour that he has been made out to be😆 - I have no bharosa on this guy, but lets see how this pans out.

KC comes and makes a big speech about how in any relationship the key word will always be - CONSENT. It does not matter how long the parties have known each other, consent between both parties when any relationship is established, is what the court sees. Seeing KC, dono maa & beti ke rang udd jaate hai. Adi is somwhere confused as to why a lawyer like KC would take this case, seeing that he knows the situation and Malini as well. KC quips that because he knows Malini so well, hence he took up the case😆. Malini & AC leave (thank god) leaving KC with the rest of the T family, who refuse to help in this case. BK rallies everyone inside, so that even Imlie's supporters cannot help her in the case. Adi tries to convince KC to drop the case, to which KC just asks him to recollect what happened that night and clearly tell him that Adi was wrong. When Adi reiterates that he cannot recall anything, KC explains to Adi that this is why he wants to fight, as he knows that Adi has been wronged and wants to support Imlie in her fight for justice. Adi is just so confused and done, that he leaves to make sense of what is happening around him.

Malini is scared that she may actually go to jail (which she should be) seeing KC there, but AC assures her that this case instead will be beneficial to get Adi & Malini closer, as Adi seems mad at Imlie for filing the FIR (dono maa beti ek jaise hi delusional hai). KC explains to Imlie that the fight will be hard, as they do not have enough evidence to prove that Malini is guilty. Imlie says that normally she wouldn't involve KC in ghar ke jhagde with Malini, which she has already been ignoring all this time. But now that Malini has committed a crime, fighting for justice for Adi is more important and she will not give up just on the fear of losing. Cut to Imlie being worried about the case and discussing it with Mitthi. Mitthi assures her that she is with Imlie, but for whom she is fighting, that person is against her. While Imlie is worried about that, she has had experience of standing against Adi and winning. Mitthi then raises her main concern that KC was supposed to be the guy who at one time really liked Malini - what guarantee is that he will not palto on Imlie, which seems to worry Imlie as well.

The precap shows that the T family has been summoned to court for the hearing, but AC seems to have planned something for them to not reach court and have the case dismissed. I am assuming that this will be the morcha that we got in the BTS, so looks like Imlie again is going to be her BS's dhaal against the soch of the world. Let us see how the makers play out this entire track, hopefully at the end of which we may finally get a conclusion we all have been promised since so long.

The namesake after which this serial is named has begun her fight and in discovering her own strengths and carving her own identity without the worldly trappings of a name. 

She consented & sacrificed to the marriage in PD to save his life putting her dreams on hold. Implicit consent to be the maid at the household of her husband. 

I loved the fact that she was able to stand up to him and not budge from her stance. All those who were wanting to see Imlie retort, here we have her. She is still being respectful to her sasural though they don't deserve it from her, but she is fulfilling her role as bahu admirably. 

How well she knows Adi, knows and understands that he is too traumatized to fight, so she is shouldering the burden of fighting for his Honor and Respect. 

Think the fact that he betrayed Imlie is playing constantly in his mind, mixed with self loathing and Dd's push to reconcile is making him run from the truth. It is much much harder to process that he is a victim and how did he let that happen to him, let things get to that stage.. when a person is conned, taken advantage of, the how could you fall for that haunts the person for a good number of days.. and that is exactly what Adi is going through. He can't express his disgust at himself to the family or even Imlie right now, but his eyes speaks a thousand words. His family cannot even process that he maybe a victim in this.. refusing to see what is unfolding in front of them. 

I dont think many get that he is playing the vicitim so well, so in tune with his core ckt that it maybe overlooked and assumed to be something else. He has faced and seen the realities of trying to get a good expose printed whereas Imlie is too idealistic and naive. Something tells me she is will emerge victorious in this endeavour, clear his name, restore his dignity n respect back. 

Dev asking some pertinent questions as he knows what M is capable of, but then brushed under the rug by M. The look of fear on both maa beti was a treat to see. Guess we will have the ink throwing scene on Adi outside the courthouse. If the court case proceeds at jet speed, then it has be the fastest case in history to be resolved .. considering the real backlog of cases in India. Hope Meethi is here at the T house to stay.

This little clash of Adilie each sticking up for their principles was good to watch. Imlie may be idealistic but she has that fire in her to see justice served, having been at the short end of the stick as far as justice is concerned. Still her vishwaas in that a crime was committed by M just as she accepted that SK committed a crime by pumping bullets into Adi. The fact she said she can fight it alone and the way she said it was just awesome. ST was fab.

As for Adi he is too confused and hates himself for his actions, filled with disgust n self loathing.. that is hard for any man to process and his dignity has been hit twice now. 

what guarantee is that he will not palto on Imlie, which seems to worry Imlie as well.

This is my worry that KC should not be coerced by M or her mom to flip n become a turncoat. He and Imlie will make a takkar ki partners if Imlie were to become a police officer, with KC prosecuting the criminals.

Lovely episode again today. 

The walls are slowly but surely closing in on didiya and her co conspirator👏. Imlu refuses to give up the good fight👏. Didi ko finally darr lagne laga hai of the consequences of her kaand since kc has taken up the case😡.  Maybe all of this will somehow end with a hail mary kaand the pregnancy one..

Episode begins with nn bajaooing the ts saying hum gawaar jaroor hai par hume bhi patha hai ki nasha karwaake kisi ka fayda utaana galath hai marad ho ya lugaayi. Apu refuses to face the possibility that adi may have been molested and yells ki malini abhi bhi adi ki patni hai aur band kamre ke peeche kya hotha kisi ko nahi pathi and that didi was also under nasha🤢. Continues saying police inspector maan nahi raha tha tho kaun ka court maanega😡. Instead blames imlu for hating didi and having framed her😡. 

Adi is still sitting there confused and unwilling to face the possibility of molestation since his reasoning is clouded by all of malinis deeds in the past. Walks out dragging imlu to take her to police station and withdraw the fir against didi. Back in the chaturvedi house anu is thanking mr.desai for having bailed out didi. He assures them that the case has no standing saying ek aadmi kaise court me jaake ye batayega ki kisi aurath ne uske saath jabardasthi ki hai🤢 and that ts case waapis le lenge. 

Imlu refuses to take the case back. Adi asks imlu if she forgot how much malini has supported her in the past. And also tells her that jo saboot hai uske pass abhi wo kaafi nahi hai to back the FIR.

Dev questions malini about imlus accusation asking if there is any truth to it.  Malini bulldozes him asking how he can question her. Mrs.c poisons malinis mind by responding to dev saying adi malini are married and aisa kya hai jo pathi patni ke beech nahi hotha😡. Finally dev yells out loud about adi malini being married only on paper since didi refused to divorce him. Dev says Adi does not consider didi his wife anymore so how is anu justifying what happened between the two as  appropriate👏. Lagtha hai usko andaaza par kya ye baat realize karke imlu ka help karega?😭 pehle se usko apni wife aur beti ki intentions patha hai par ab tak kisi ko warn nahi kiya sivai imlu ko😭

Adi advises imlu  that pukhta saboot is needed to support any serious accusation so that koi bhi baad me ungli nahi utaaye.  Insists on taking zimmedari for the haadsa because didi ne use convince kar diya ki us raath wo bhi nashe me thi. Imlu counters asking kahe unhe zimmedari utaani sirf isliye kyunki wo marad hain and that aurath bhi bura kar sakthi hai. Imlu insists she is fighting not because she cares for him but because apraadh huwa hai and if it had been him molesting didi she would have taken him to court. Imlu tells him that didi ko sazaa hogi with or without adis support👏.

Nn is out taunting the ts next day since ghar se kalini ka kaal saaya nikal gaya. Bk gets mad. Apu responds saying adi malini are pati patni and jo bhi huwa hoga marzi se huwa hoga🤢.  Didi and mrs.c walk into the house. Didi does her drama with apu maa crying hugging her. Imlu asks didi how she got out of jail and mrs.c says jhoota case ke liye bail mil jaatha hai easily.  Mrs.c threatens to ruin adi and imlu if she does not take her case back.  Bk blames imlu for refusing to even listen to adi and take the case back.  Then adi apologizes to gehri dost for raat waala kaand and also for having been sent to jail. 

Just as mrs.c begins gloating about how imlu has no support from any side and prolly has no lawyer to fight her case apna aa tapke kc bhaisaab.  Kc says he will fight imlus case for her. Schools mrs.c and everyone on razaamandhi or consent being important in any relationship.  And since adi was in any intoxicated state and not in a state to provide consent if that is proved in court 110 percent didi ki bajegi😆. On being questioned by adi about how kc is taking the case on without any solid proof kc responds saying because he knows malini.  Even after hearing this none of ts question kc on his reasoning behind why he thinks malini may have committed a jurm😡. Didi does a drama about not having any ummeed from outsiders when her own sister has put a false case on her😡. Kc wants to hear from all the ts on what happened that night but bk prevents everyone from helping. Adi insists that everything that happened was his zimmedari and kcc asks him to tell him what happened if he is hell bent on turning himself in. On adis admission that he remembers nothing kc questions on what grounds he thinks what imlu says could not have happened. Adi walks away distraught and confused.

Didi on he way home is petrified about being proven guilty and going to jail😡. Mrs.c assures didi that nothing can be proved without evidence even by a good lawyer like kc. And also that no one in the t family including adi would back her. Kc also tells imlu that case win karne ke chances bahuth hi kam hai because adi does not support her and mrs.c will do her best to sabotage it. He says he will fight the case if she is ready to through this.  Imlu agrees to fight this time because what didi di crossed the line and it is a crime. Meethi questions imlu on whether she can trust kc because of his past with her. 

Precap me ts get summons to present themselves as witnesses and back in the c house mrs.c talks of her plan to prevent the ts from reaching the court and get the case dismissed. I hope whatever mrs.c does is enough to make the ts and adi begin suspecting both didi and her of foul play😭. 

Adi will only get that jolt only when baby comes in picture😆 Imlie will be in Tyagi mode . She will really sacrifice him .

I'd like to add: KC said, nasha karwaake rishta jodne ki "koshih" ki hai.. so they're going to keep in ambiguous until after the fake pregsy drama. 

And aaj raat ko lafangi will go to KC's house to manipulate him.

I too felt that Anu's arrangements are that mahila morcha.. I think they'll reach the court late after Imlie bachaos bs from them.. saturday ko ya monday ko milega court scene.

And dev is portable furniture, bina sach jaane he's going to go to the court with chahiti beti only and just stare at people doubtfully.

Nope, I dont think she will sacrifice him so easily. Even if she does, Adi usse kahin jaane nahi dega. Something tells me they will execute this preggers track much better than we expect it. I am keeping my fingers crossed that they do this well.

lol cant wait to see his face when he gets to know about parivaar ke vaaris 🤣 I just hope Imlie won't believe lafangi's words again about the bachha and step back.

Malini's silence when dev was questioning her is confirming to me that nothing happened that night.

I'm happy that the story is moving sahi galat acha bura baad ki baad dekhenge.. But damn the stagnation was irritating lyk hell.. 

Fierce imlie n her firm stand on getting the justice done is just good to watch.. She doesn't need anyone ye akeli hi kaafi hai.. Hamari imlieya.. 

Baaki sab gaya tel lene.. Ts Cs sab k sab nikamme.. KC ji aaye hai.. Ab ye phislenge ya nahi ye to waqt hi batayega.. But chalo will watch in on weekend.. Till then meko nai bhulna😆

Today I will bring the main things for me that is forming the premise of this track : 

1) mans pride. Like desai lawyer said which man would admit that he was violated against his Will and that is also tied to the fact that adi will not accept the truth. Until

He hears it from the horses mouth he won’t accept and that is why I am not sure about the camera playing a role anymore . It might plant a seed of doubt but it won’t lead to any full force action. His honor and his guilt is too great . Only if Didi vomits then maybe and this vomit may happen and I am very sad to say that this but only after imlie

NDe. 

2) This has come full circle . 9 months ago in the face of false accusations by the villagers imlie sacrificed her all and even was going to sacrifice her life by standing in front of adi with the sickle in hand to fight for his life and him. She gave up Everything and today she is doing the same I feel as she is at the risk of sacrificing everything if adI doesn’t believe her and she loses this battle. In her mind she would have lost everything  cos to her vishwas is important and if to the end adi doesn’t believe this then to her she has lost whether he says he loves  her or not. The case is immaterial but to prove his innocence.even if she proves his innocence his lack of vishwas will make her in her mind a loser 

3) Didi will go see chomu to plead her case and maybe seduce him but somehow I and I don’t know if I have become delusional like Didi and her mum but chomu won’t flip. I hope I am not proven wrong and if so it won’t be any baby but a fake pregnancy 

AdI internal battle for vindication unfortunately will go on for awhile 🥲
