Har Yug Mein Aayega Ek Arjun debuted on 11th August 2012 and ended on 23rd February 2014, with a 145 episodes on StarPlus. 

The show is a creation of 4Lions Films production and a vision of Gorky Max. 

The initial cast included Shaleen Malhotra as ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte, Behzaad Khan as ETF Chief ACP Sameer Rathod, Sana Makbul as Riya Mukherjee, a research specialist, Siddharth Sen as Shreekant Sen aka Shree, the technical expert and Ketan Karande as commando Chandrakant Patil, fondly called Chotu.Together these characters formed a special crime-solving unit called Emergency Task Force (ETF).

Due to unforeseen reasons Sana had to quit the show, which was executed with the death track of Riya as she completes her mission. After a few episodes additional casts were added, starting with Sheetal Shah as the ammunition specialist Ayesha Kapoor, who ETF encountered while bursting a drug racket. Ritu Chauhan as Liza D'Cruz, the forensic expert and Mrunal Thakur as Sakshi Anand, an investigative reporter who would get the work done by the ETF to the notice of millions. 

This story was about Arjun's life. Arjun, a fun-loving and caring guy who changed completely after witnessing the brutal murder of his wife in front of him. This made him start living a reclusive life. The show was based upon the story of Arjun Rawte himself who was on the quest of bringing justice to his wife by finding her killer "Sikander", who the department refused to believe existed.

Arjun's sharp observation and quick decision making skills were applauded by the viewers. Although the show revolves around one main character A.C.P. Arjun Suryakant Rawte, each member of the team was essential to crack the cases that were given to the ETF. 

Arjun is not just a different crime thriller but it has a distinct style of solving crimes that are from the simple passion-based, heat-of-the-moment crimes to the most horrendous, cold-blooded, pre-planned and organized ones.

The show not only entertains but also leaves one with food for thought at the end of each episode with insightful short monologues of Arjun or other characters. It also addresses some social issues like honour-killing, dowry, child labour, etc. Organized crimes like human, organ and drug-trafficking are also showcased.

The show, Arjun, through its beautifully crafted stories, communicates moral and social values and a message, ‘no matter the motive behind the crime, it is punishable’. Every person has the right to justice, their social standing should not affect their fundamental right.

The “Suraksha Chakra” segment spreads awareness by providing first-aid lessons, self-defence techniques and other life-saving tips with its aim being “Prevention is better than Cure”.

The show revamped after the end of Team ETF (Chotu, Liza, Ayesha & Sakshi) in a bomb blast Arjun began with Arjun resigning from the Police Department, joining as a Physical Education Instructor in a school and working with Karan Hooda aka “Robin Hood” a garage mechanic, Simran, an actress, and Anjali, a tech-savvy kid to solve crimes in the neighbourhood.

The show ended with Sameer and Arjun reuniting and beginning the quest of finding “Sikander”.

No matter how hard you try, you can never be perfect.

ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte was the definition of imperfection who tried his best to be perfect and we all fell in love with it. Be it his infamous anger, fierce determination for doing the right thing, the 'look beyond the obvious' and seek justice at all costs, even break the rules if needed; all defined him.

A young, brilliant, honest cop with razor sharp analytical skills who’s out of the box thinking and no-nonsense attitude has earned him respect and fear within the Police Department.

Being a cop was his dream, ambition and destiny. He went on to become a police officer, against his father’s wishes who in turn disowned him. Arjun has a soft corner for young people who follow their heart and live life on their own terms.

Courage is never the absence of fear but; a subtle reminder that there are things important than the very fear that grips the heart. Faith is a very conflicting idea. An ever diluting entity...and to maintain it till the very end; is a trait of a brave heart.  Arjun never had a life that could be termed as wonderful. His father disowned him; his love eluded his life, his friend got lost and the only family left too faded in the oblivion. But the sheer strength of character is what kept him going on. Being brave demands sacrifices and demands the duty bound soul to go on...and Arjun went on...

His intellect is what landed him in the ETF; and his sheer brilliance made the criminals shudder. 

Arjun was an integral part of the ETF, being their second-in-command. His unorthodox ways of investigation have earned him his team member's faith and unconditional support. He in turn is slowly turning into a 'team-man', placing his faith in them, time and again.

Be it lending an ear to Chotu as he narrates his tragic childhood or appreciating Shree for having cracked a tough nut, or helping Riya overcome her fear of shooting, Arjun slowly came to realise that these are the only people close to being a family that he never had. His respected Ayesha's abilities for being the responsible cop she is and never once rebuked her when she taunted him for having ruined her cover. His guilt on being responsible for Sakshi getting shot made him display a soft side, which he often kept under wraps. He seldom let his personal differences with Rathod get in the way of their work, and together as a team, they're formidable.

'Brave as a lion and shrewd as a leopard.' He is manipulative and shrewd when it comes to nailing smart criminals. He never underestimates them, in fact, even appreciates their intelligence at times. But he knows just when and how to go in for the kill. 'Uske aage ki ek chaal, main khud hi sochta hoon...' He never hesitates to break the rules to ensure justice.

He has given up on life and lives a reclusive life, fighting criminals and seeking justice for the wronged living up to his oath, 'Sadrakshanaya Khalnighranaya’

Be it trotting the guns or making the punches fly he was the best, letting no one inch close to the tag. The tough exterior mounted a soft beating heart that cared for everyone around. He always cared for his team, though letting all of that out might not be very conventional. A mentor and guide to Shree, Riya, Liza, Sakshi  and Chotu; a strong support to Rathod, and a friend to Ayesha, he gave his all even when he had no means. A true man of honour he remained so till the very end.

An unfortunate scam took away his team and he found solace in a B-Team comprising Karan, Simran and Anjali. He became a brother to Karan, a protector to Simran and a father-figure to Anjali.  His equations were ever evolving and he remained likeable even in the murkiest of situations.

Arjun came across as a man who valued the worth of humanity. To stand tall after going through Hell is a daunting task but to let all of that run and make you strong is the mark of a true man. 

Arjun and Sameer : Best Friends from Academy Days

Best friends with Sameer in the past, but the duo don't see each other eye to eye and are now reduced to being Rawte and Rathod. Though Arjun doesn't expect Sam to forgive him, but yet he wishes for Rathod to believe in him someday…

'Roshni was the light that illuminated his life.'

She walked into his life and swept him off his feet.. The young cop fell in love and later proposed marriage to her.. They were living a fairytale romance until she was snatched away from him.. He had watched on as life left her eyes, plunging him into despair and heart-wrenching guilt for the rest of his life..

Arjun keeps away from all that is beautiful, colourful and reminds him of her.. Seeking revenge for his wife's brutal murder is the sole purpose of his life and is probably the only weak nerve the strong cop possesses..

'Kuch log bheed mein ho toh bhi tanha, aur akele ho tab hi akele..'

One would often find him brooding in the dark, spending sleepless nights holding on to the one hope that he will avenge his wife's death and rid himself of the guilt he has been bearing on his shoulders.. 

'Zindagi mein raahat ki ummed kam hi hai Rathod, 

lekin mushkil yeh hai ki zindagi aasaani se guzregi bhi nahi...'

 Arjun loves kids and harbors a soft corner for them.. 

Pav bhaji and a hot glass of cutting chai are probably the easiest ways into his heart... 

Samjhe ya samjhaun?!

Shaleen Malhotra, born on 25th May, ex Roadies contestant is best known for his titular role of Arjun in Star Plus's mega cop series. Born and raised in Delhi, this hard core action fanatic is trained in kickboxing and parkour.  A biker and member of an Army personnel family, Shaleen channels his work focus and loves to take on different roles.

He has worked as on-air VJ for MTV and was also seen in an episodic of courtroom drama series Adaalat on Sony. He has worked in other shows like O Gujariya: Badlein Chal Duniya, Naa Aana Iss Des Laado & Laado 2 – Veerpur ki Mardani, Koi Laut Ke Aaya Hai, Ishqbaaaz, Mere Dad Ki Dulhan and others.

As the Creative Head, Gorky had once said, Shaleen possesses a certain body language which is Arjun-like.. Be it the 'eyes that speak', the no-nonsense attitude he carries off flawlessly, the penchant for action and adventure or 'the clenching of the jaw'& 'spinning the pen' as they are known as, are traits he has contributed to the character.

He will be seen in the upcoming show called “Ziddi Dil Maane Na” on Sony SAB as Special Agent Karan Shergill.

The Chief of Emergency Task Force

Representing the circle of good in the bad world and then never failing to lose the very essence is the mark of a man and that's what Sameer is and will always be! Sameer Damsingh Rathod, is one special person, a friend who holds onto that thin line of family and becomes the extension of one. He is both a myth and maxim in today's unforgiving and ruthless world. Even when he had distanced himself from his soul brother; he remained there to help him no matter what. Now that's a man that demands respect and nothing less.

He was one name that rang on the high. A true duty bound police officer and a thorough gentleman; he was every bit that rarity we've heard about. He too, in the long run had lost a lot but managed to stay put and that marks the brilliance of the man! A sharp minded, witty cop, a no-nonsense persona and a darling of a human being...

Sameer, this man had managed to stir plethora of emotions in us. A grieving friend, a strong pillar to his brother from behind the shadows, a man with strong hold over his team and most importantly he was one who could value the worth of human life. His anger used to shoot up undoubtedly, he used to lose control but he never let any of it get in the way of his job. Again the very rarity we so strain our eyes for... Having lost so much and then constantly living with black fury of having lost it all; takes away the human touch but applause to the man! His human heart remained intact. He had trained Riya and never for once did he lose his head over the fact that she couldn't bring herself to shoot. Instead he waited patiently, correcting her and in the meanwhile providing her with all the needed support. He never allowed Chotu and Shree to lose their essence. He did scold and threaten them at times but then he was also the one to genuinely care about them. He immediately took Ayesha under his wing for the talent that she was, he helped Liza and Sakshi through their journey. And even when he had been shown hating Arjun, he went long miles to help him when needed.

There is no way that you can keep your beating heart so visibly taped together especially when it has been subjected to the unfairness of life. But then Sameer made us believe that even this was possible. Things that could set him on fire were the plight of innocent people and ill treatment of women.

A hot headed second in command, a nerdy techie, an innocent commando, a daring female cop, a bubbly chirpy investigative journalist', the ETF team was a blend of unique and distinct individuals and definitely needs a strong personality like Sameer Rathod to head them and steer them to the right direction', to remind them and wake them up about the duty calls!

He is "Rathod" for his second in command ACP Arjun Rawte, "Sameer" for Sakshi and "Rathod Sir" for the rest of the team. A man of principles, a cop who goes by protocols and would adhere and abide by them at all costs. An opposite of his second in command Arjun who went by his instincts and believed in breaking rules to reach the goal!

He makes the team pull up their socks and gets things done in the best possible manner.

An episode doesn't seem complete without Sameer's 

"Damn it Rawte!"  

and Arjun's  

"Kuch toh choot raha hai Rathod!" 

The trademark dialogs of the super cops add that extra flavour and spice to the episodes and lure the fans into their magical play of words! 

Initially we used to hear 

"You’re wrong Rawte" 

which was slowly changed into 

"You're right Rawte" 

as the walls between the duo were melting, 

as Chotu said "Wo bhi ek Zamana tha".

Something which candidly comes to mind is Rathod's super cool full form of ETF - "Experts in todh fodh"

Behzaad Khan was perfect for Sameer Damsingh Rathod, and he has won millions of hearts, no episode was complete without Rawte-Rathod sessions . He is inevitable to the team as well as to the show! 

Born on 28th of February, Behzaad is the eldest of seven siblings.  A theatre personality, Behzaad began his television career with Star One's hit series Geet Huyi Sabse Parayi as Brij. He then went on to work as Noor Khan in Color's historical drama Veer Shivaji; before landing as Sameer Rathod in Star Plus's mega cop series Arjun. He has appeared in many commercials and has movie roles to his credit.

Roshni, the beloved wife of ACP Arjun Rawte, filled Arjun's heart with never ending love. She was a charming woman with an aura that bewitched the tough cop at his door steps in their very first meeting. They met through their common friend Sameer Rathod, during her visit to Mumbai. When Sameer could not receive her, she had to stay in Arjun’s house.

She was a beautiful and completely mesmerizing lady, her smile can melt stones. Arjun had fallen in love with her at the first sight. She was tricky and a naughty girl. Her passion for flowers, especially red and white roses even added colors to Arjun's life. She was as pure as the white roses and their love story was as passionate as the red ones. She brightened and filled Arjun's life with happiness and gave the love that he was craving for. She made Arjun's house a home.

The naughty, jovial and fun loving Arjun married to a chirpy bubbly and beautiful girl Roshni. The perfect combo. They both loved each other immensely.

But unfortunately she was brutally murdered by a criminal, Sikander, and left Arjun in the middle of their journey with haunting nightmares that kept him awake for uncountable nights. Her decease turned him into a living corpse and left him with rage and thirst for revenge. She is what made him as well as broke him. Roshni, the woman gives a different shade to ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawtes life . Now Arjun is only living with the goal of giving justice to her.

Born in Patiala, Samiksha Singh is an Electronic Engineer and she made her debut in movies with a Telugu film and later in Tamil films. She won several awards for the movie Arinthum Ariyalmalum including the award for the best Debut Actress in Tamil industry. After making her debut in Tamil and Telugu movies she finished more than 15 movies in Tamil and Telugu

She appeared as a model for many print commercials for reputed brands  like Kit-Kat, Monte Carlo, American Express Card, Amway, World Gold Council, Mother Dairy, Havell's switch and T.V commercial's like Johnson baby prickly heat powder, Hyundai Xing, Sunsilk and Metro tyres, Univercell mobile. She did many commercials and daily soaps like playing the role of Nilanjana Roy in Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli on Zee TV.

𝕾𝖆𝖒𝕵𝖚𝖓

Some friendships happen unexpectedly, but leave a forever mark in your heart. Such was the friendship of Sam and Arjun, before they became Rathode-Rawte for each other. They met when Arjun had no one to call his own and they grew distant when once again Arjun had no one besides him. But, time doesn’t take away the friendship, nor does separation. Despite showing a large amount of animosity for each other, their care and concern for each other was clearly reflected in their eyes. Whether it is when Arjun put his life at stake or when Sameer’s life was at stake, both would fight the whole world for each other.

The reason for their animosity is not known but I would like to believe that both had their reasons and both were right at their place. Roshni’s death was not easy on both of them, as both had lost an integral part of their lives. After which Sameer immersed himself in work and Arjun kept burning in the flame of revenge. I would like to thank Coelho sir, the then commissioner of police, who made Arjun join the ETF because of which both came face to face.

They tried a lot to remain unaffected by each other, but in vain. I started pitying the juniors who were working with them. Two totally opposite seniors but both were equally vigorous when it came to anger. God! All of them deserve a round of applause from us.

Even when both Arjun and Sameer tried to keep their friendship a secret from everyone in the office, they all surely had an idea that their seniors shared a very strong bond. Such was their friendship! And no matter how many times we heard from Sameer’s mouth that Sikandar doesn’t exist, we can’t deny that it was he who brought Sikandar’s details to Arjun. He knew how important it was for Arjun to avenge Roshni’s death. And thanks to the file they shared a short but very meaningful hug and there my heart was at peace. Wish this could have happened much earlier but better late than sorry.

𝕾𝖆𝖒𝕵𝖚𝖓 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝕽𝖔𝖘𝖍𝖓𝖎

There are friends and there is family, but very rarely the friends become family. Sameer, Arjun and Roshni were a family. Roshni entered Arjun’s life as Sameer’s college friend and soon love brewed between the two. And if there was something between Sameer and Roshni, it was just pure friendship. 

The people who say “Ek ladka aur ladki kabhi dost nahi ho sakte” have to see Sameer and Roshni. 

As much as her death had affected Arjun, Sameer was in no better place. It was very clear that he was protective of Roshni and he had given her hand to Arjun’s so that she doesn’t face any problem. But fate had other plans and once that plan was executed, the familial bond broke and despite her not being there she was the only link the two shared.

𝕾𝖍𝖗𝖊𝖊 

𝕊𝕙𝕣𝕖𝕖𝕜𝕒𝕟𝕥 𝕊𝕖𝕟 𝕒𝕜𝕒 𝕊𝕙𝕣𝕖𝕖

Getting information off the Internet is like taking a drink from a fire hydrant.

And when you are "the" IT boy of Emergency Task Force, you know you've signed your life away. Shree was an important character in Arjun who played the role of a tech savvy who also knew how to use a gun! Well... without him the team was almost like the apple without the pie. Shree was a best friend, a tech head and sometimes a kamina friend too but he knew how to get those remarks right.

From tracking a criminal to gunning them down, he does it all. A genius tech expert, a remarkable and probably the youngest ETF member, funny, playful yet compassionate. Surrounded by beeping computers and his gadgets, you'll find him sitting in his own little cubicle; probably keeping a tab on some criminal; or cracking jokes with Saakshi, Chotu and Ayesha. Don't be surprised if you find him pulling a prank on Chotu, his best friend in ETF (Of course, after his gadgets, duh).

Episode seems rather dull without a ChoRee moment. Let it be his horror movie nights with Chotu or spying on the ACP's and their lady love; ChoRee are a delight to watch.

Even though the other two ACPs won't admit, their banters do amuse them and maybe, remind them what they used to have earlier.

Or you might find him working overnight with ACP Arjun Rawte, the only khadoos in his life. If ACP Rawte is the megamind, Shree is his minion. While discovering a ground-breaking theory, Arjun needs his IT boy to pull up some information. Let it be finding out someone’s phone records, credit card details or making a fake identity, Shree works as his right hand. And sometimes, we are entitled to say "ACP sahib, bacche k jaan loge kya?" 

And surprisingly, Arjun acknowledges that. Shree is the only person who got a proper "Thank You" or "Good Job" from our Khadoos ACP. Shree is indeed Arjun's favourite.

He is not only a brilliant tech expert but also a master of disguise too. Whether acting as a college student or a Madrasi, he is, hands down, a pro. And he looks adorable as always.

He might be the cutest nerd in town, but he is an amazing human being as well. He might joke around a lot, but we did get to see his vulnerable and emotional side when Riya died. But don't underestimate him given his cute looks and friendly nature, when mad or challenged; yeh specky in lungi tumhari pungi bajayega ji.

Shree respects his chief and his second in command; in fact he even voiced it out. Both of them scare the hell out of him, but Shree knows, it's only for his own good. So he calmly deals with all the "Damn it!" and "Samjhe ya samjhau?" that comes in his way and gets the work done.

He is a caring friend; we all know that by now. You're guaranteed to have a good time going "awww, he's so cute!"

And he is obsessed with gadgets. Why? Well, first he is a techie, and techies love their gadgets more than their own children. Apart from that, there will be a backstory of his family, his struggle and why he became what he is now. (Courtesy: Gorky).

Sparks fly between him and our ETF forensic expert, Liza D'cruz who were college-mates. They were rivals, always fighting for the 1st position. Even in ETF, we see them glaring at each other or delivering a sarcastic comment or two; a treat! She calls him "Specky Sen" and he calls her "aafat". A nerdy tech with gadgets and a gorgeous forensic expert with scalpels; how cute!

Shree was always the bakra in most weird situations. Remember that drug case where he had to go undercover as a college kid? tch tch tch, poor our Techy guy who is always facing in most weird situations, not only once, but many times. One horrendous moment was when a serial killer attacked him. We all cursed brutally the killer as he hurt Shree in most painful way, but were relieved when Arjun came to save him and later he was shown okay.

Siddharth Sen plays the character Shree and no one else would be able to do justice to the character as he does. He is brilliant and brings out the best which leaves us awed and glued to our screens.

He is a hardworking actor who knew what it takes to be an actor.  A quote from Forum  32, "As Shree, Siddharth Sen has become the man who knows what it takes to be an actor and yet be grounded. The way he treats people around him shows his upbringing and his principles. Always sporting a smile, affable and straight forward, conversations with him always veer off to music, bands and food." Recently he has opened a restaurant called SID'S ADDA and it's in full swing. Unfortunately he had to leave the show Arjun because of some personal reasons and that's when the character of Shree came to a stop. He didn't die mind you! Just left... He is indeed a great actor.

ℂ𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕣𝕒𝕜𝕒𝕟𝕥 ℙ𝕒𝕥𝕚𝕝 𝕒𝕜𝕒 ℂ𝕙𝕠𝕥𝕦

Chandrakant Patil was the "Commando" and the muscle man fondly known as Chotu. People are usually surprised to hear him referred to as Chotu as it's a contradiction towards his well-built body and six feet tall height! His heart, which is bigger than his body, is full of love and compassion. But when it comes to criminals that ponytail comes out and unki jo dhulai hoti hai ufff! His first true love is food...Usse khane ke siwai kuch nahi soojta, but when in work mode, food has to go out of the door! And he has a soft spot for dogs! So cute na...He has that innocent face but when it becomes angry you don't wanna mess with him...no way! Where there is food there is Chotu. He was also a very important part of the ETF, always helping in solving cases through his intensive network of informers.

Chotu was a sweetheart; and he used to share his moments with his adorable puppy called “Ruby”, or eating.

No one could believe that this commando was in  love with a 11:30 wali who used to shop Sunday to Sunday at 11:30, he didn't know her name, nor had he seen her before. He used to go to the grocery store every Sunday at the same time just to see her. Because of which all his friends started referring to his lady love as 11:30 waali. 

He shared a great bond of friendship with the other two musketeers, Shree and Riya. Him and Shree are like brothers from another mother. They share this masti-bhari relationship where there is lot of teasing and of course caring for each other. Especially when Shree teases him that cool ponytail comes out and then there is the bodyguard glares. Poor Shree! :P But they were inseparable! And with Riya he was always like the protective friend and really caring friend too! After all they were the ChoRee, so the three of them were ultimate and inseparable three musketeers!

When it comes to Sameer Rathore well...Chotu would always be the obedient team member that obeyed his chief because he knew that his chief would be right. He respected Rathore a lot as a leader and a mentor. Coming to Arjun....with him Chotu was always on a run in getting things done as Arjun would rely on him frequently after the exit of Shree. But he always got done what he was asked to do. And then Chotu's relationship with Ayesha, Sakshi and Liza was also really sweet. It was pure friendship and care. The little scenes we got were worth watching because Chotu was absolutely fantastic. 

Ketan Karande is a great actor. He has that stillness about him that makes him look even more adorable. Ketan made his television debut with this series but he is not an unknown name in the world of entertainment. This brawny actor has shared screen space with the lights of Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, amongst others. He has acted in moves namely, God Tussi Great Ho, Speed, Asoka, Ramaa-The Savior (which also had The Great Khali) and has also done few commercials. He is a great person both on screen and off screen!

Riya Mukherjee was the research specialist for the Emergency Task Force who sacrificed her life for millions of innocent people. She was born to be a great police officer and she died as a brave and courageous police officer. With her charming personality and dimpled smile, one can’t help but like her. But her persona is not only confined to her good looks. She is a smart, confident woman as well who tries to work up to her full potential and strives to make her own mark in the so-called "man's- world" , that is the police force. She is a feminist at heart and retorts back whenever anyone questions her capability at work due to her gender. Time and again we have seen her retort back to Arjun Rawte when she thought he was underestimating her due to her gender. 

While Riya was well trained in martial arts and could beat the pulp out of anybody, she wasn't comfortable and fully adapted to using guns. Her sensitive self could not wrap the idea of actually taking some one's life, even if he was a criminal. But eventually in the show we saw her shoot a person at the time of need, break down over it and finally overcome this fear with help from Arjun.

Arjun made her understand that when she raises her gun to kill, it is to kill the person who has wronged another and that if she didn't shoot them, they would shoot her first. Perhaps this was also the moment when the tough ACP Rawte started softening towards Riya Mukherjee.

Riya was a charming lady, and she surely knew how to use that fact to her advantage. Who can forget the episode where much to surprise of Arjun, she managed to get a file which even he was unable to get, with her sweet smile and endearing charm and thus leaving the Super cop absolutely speechless for once. Riya’s dialogue "Aurat ki kabiliyat par kabhi shaq nahi karna chahiye'' became a tagline for women power. 

Riya's characterization would be incomplete indeed without mentioning her tiny little quirks which made her even more endearing like the pink pen she used to use, or her hygiene freakiness and of course her never ending statistics. 

Riya had a very nice rapport with Chotu, Shree and Rathore and later with Arjun as well. Her little moments of fun , jokes and teasing with Shree and Chotu and their super cute friendship gave many light moments to the otherwise grim episodes. With Rathore there was a great sense of respect from her side, and support and guidance from his side, there were times when her statistics rant or her inability to shoot did bother him but nevertheless he always thought her to be an important part of his team. With Arjun, it was something I don't think can be put into words, it was not friendship, and surely not love, she used to hero-worship him, always looked up to him with an expression of awe in her eyes and a hidden desire to be like him in work... there was a sense of companionship which they shared and which made them special. Sweet, smart, pretty, sensitive, stubborn , hard working well there are many words which can describe Riya Mukherjee as a person. But I can’t think of a more appropriate adjective for her than 'Brave'. Riya was just like any other normal girl but she rose above it with her bravery when she gave up her life in order to save the lives of thousands. Thus more than anything Riya would always be remembered for what she did for her country, how she proved herself to be a good officer till her last breath, how she was a true daughter of the country.

Her death was a shock to the whole ETF team and it impacted each of them deeply.

Actress Sana Makbul Khan was born on 13 June 1993 in Mumbai. She is actress and Ad model in television industry and is known for her great looks and equally great acting.Her first serial was a Disney channel show named  Ishaan sara.She also played the role of Shefali in Kitni Mohabbat hai season 2 and also acted in  the famous show  Iss pyar ko kya naam doon, where she played the character Lavanya Kashyap. Sana Khan entered Femina Miss India 2012 pageant and was crowned Femina Miss Beautiful smile 2012.

She is currently seen in the reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi: Darr vs. Dare (Season 11).

𝔸𝕪𝕖𝕤𝕙𝕒 𝕂𝕒𝕡𝕠𝕠𝕣

When we think of womanhood; a lot of images flash in front of our eyes. But the ultimate picture that's drawn is that of immense strength and power. And maybe that clear definition was brought to us in the form of the mighty Ayesha Kapoor. An impressive individual with an even thorough brilliance. Rarely a defining moment comes in terms of characterization at least on Indian Television that'll make you stand up and applause; and that one defining moment was the arrival of Ayesha Kapoor.

She entered the scene as Nadia, a dancer, but managed to surprise everyone as she revealed that she is, in fact, an undercover cop herself. And soon enough, she ended up joining the ETF as well, and we saw a woman who is always ready to face a challenge, and never one to back away. Ayesha Kapoor proves herself to be a strong and fierce officer, not afraid to voice her opinions in front of either Rawte or Rathod. She shows everyone how being a cop doesn't have to only be a man's job, and women can do it as well, as she fights alongside the best as they work to solve each case.

A dynamic entity Ayesha showed what power she held over her job. She handled guns and blades just as she handled her sweet coffee mug. The lean looking frame beat the living ghosts out of the criminals and never once anyone had to run to rescue.  The entire team rested itself heavily on her and she had a knack of delivering all that she promised!

Ayesha Kapoor was a modern rendition of all that's lean, mean and kickass. There was a charisma that ran up her and drove the point home that women are power houses that run the world. Ayesha showed what a woman is and should be. She was the most impossible concoction of feminism and tough; of strength and vulnerability; of charm and charisma and that had bawled all of us over. She never backed out from her duties, even when her father needed her helping hand to thrive through his operation...she chose to be with the team and kill the crime. Smiling through the stifles is no easy task but she made it happen! Grappling hot coals sounds cheesy but her job made her do that and she never shied away from it all.

But at the same time, the more sensitive side of Ayesha Kapoor is revealed as well, in the way she slowly begins to break through and befriend Rathod, with the gradually developing friendship between Shree-Chotu-Ayesha, and in how she communicates, manages to get through to some of the victims or the victims' families. She became a great friend of Liza and Sakshi as well.  We saw the budding relationship between Ayesha and Rathod develop but remained incomplete due to Sameer’s absence and later Ayesha’s death.

Fitting in a man dominated world where the glass ceiling exists; she broke many stereotypes and killed the clichés. Now that was what a woman makes and that's the massive precipice she pulled up! She looked like a lady was a raging flame.

Ayesha Kapoor has proven herself to be an irreplaceable member, known by her fans as the "Iron Lady", and needless to say, Shital Shah is doing a fantabulous job!

Shital Shah born on 9th June is the heiress to India's globally recognized entrepreneur conglomerate ICECD. Born as the elder of the two daughters;  to big names, the industrialist Ashok Shah and Hina Shah; Shital is every thing that's expected of her.  She holds a degree in MBA and at present is the HR manager in her mother's institution ICECD. A painter, a danseuse and an actor, Shital has forayed into all performing arts and emerged with flying colors. An actor in the Gujarati cinema she also is part of Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal's theater troop and is constantly working with her mother towards women empowerment. Their work includes providing means of livelihood to woman in about 4000 village in Gujarat. Both the mother-daughter duo have been applauded and felicitated for their works. With the Shah family already considered a big name; Shital has created a niche for herself that makes her stand out for the work she does.

𝕃𝕚𝕫𝕒 𝔻'𝕔𝕣𝕦𝕫

Liza D'cruz is the forensic expert of ETF. She digs out evidence and clues from the specimens and blood samples collected from the crime scene. She is smart, bubbly and confident. Liza had this daring personality that made her look all cool and swaggalicious but when it came to being professional and work...she would always put that forensic doc cap on then swoosh you are one step closer to solving the case and arresting the culprit! She was like Mentos that had a cooling effect but that strong influence as well that left you wondering as to how anyone could be like this. Though not into direct field work and hard core investigation, she is an inevitable part of the team and the show!

She has an amazing rapport with the entire team and bonds well with the other ladies in the team as well! Liza with Rathore and Arjun..hmm...well although it was a professional relationship but there was much more to it than just discovering boggling facts about the dead body or giving updates on the reports to the both of them. I think it was more of a bhai-behen relationship..I know it sounds realllyyy surprising as we didn't get to see much of the above statement but...somewhere I saw it. In that one moment I saw the clear picture and I knew that it was "phoolon ka taro ka sab ka kehna hai..ek haazaroon mein meri behna hai"...but then again it's my POV.

Hmm..coming to the threesome..nahi samjhe...aree Liza, Sakshi, and Ayesha! They are like that little group of girls from high school movies that are always together. Aise lagta hai fevicol se chipkaya hai...toota hi nahi. I know it's usually the mean girls who are in three's but hey we just made new history...it's the "good ones" in threes! Surprise surprise! "Laughs". Isliye to iss ka naam Dosti hai!

But her chemistry with Shree stands apart right from her entry episode! She is Shree's college mate..no no not friends any day!..They could kill each other before accepting that they share a friendship bond...

Friendship would run miles away from what they share with each other. They always stood as rivals competing for the first place in college. In ETF, nothing changes that trait in both. Friendship, Enmity, Hatred, Love...or may be a blend of all that in incorrect propositions...perhaps yes, that’s what they share! She keeps addressing him as Specky Sen just to annoy him and she succeeds in it as well. They complement each other with snide sarcastic remarks and never leave a chance to taunt each other! Both are always at loggerheads and every conversation ends in an argument of sorts.

Their nhok-jhoks are a real treat to watch and keeps the fans wondering when and how these strong headed intellectual logger heads would eventually fall in love? They seem to share a thin line of love hate relationship!

Ritu Chauhan played the role of the forensic expert Liza and she carries it off perfectly fitting every requirement that the role demands from her. She isn't a new face to television. She has acted in several shows like Yahan Ke Hum Sikander as Ranjana, Mein Laxmi Tere Aangan Ki as Ronika and in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev and others.

𝕊𝕒𝕜𝕤𝕙𝕚 𝔸𝕟𝕒𝕟𝕕

Sakshi is a jovial girl with a highly infectious smile. Wherever she goes, Sakshi always make sure to leave people smiling in her wake. As an ex-journalist, she has all the skills required for research and proves herself to be a valuable member to the team, often helping in aiding the ETF Team in finding out about certain people. Sakshi shares a strong friendship with all the members of her team, all except for Arjun. 

Sakshi Anand joined ETF in the interest of the DIG to have a messenger who could pass on to the public the hard work of the ETF members, the sacrifices they give unquestioned when demanded, just for the welfare of the Public. This high-spirited girl with no defense background, might possibly seem unfit for being a part of a team that faces dangerous situations at every step. But, her courage cannot be doubted. She won't think twice before jumping to save a person from a bullet, endangering her own life.

Though many failed to see it, Sakshi never failed in noticing how lonely and conflicted Arjun was. In her quest to end his loneliness, Sakshi lost her heart to the no-nonsense cop. The realisation came with the help of her friend Ayesha Kapoor, who upon noticing Sakshi's anguish to see Arjun so lonely, voiced her thoughts about Sakshi being in love with Arjun. Though the realisation came quickly, Sakshi wasn't one to be deterred. With a sense of determination, Sakshi did everything for Arjun. From annoying him all the way to keeping a glass and a thermos full of his favourite cutting chai with her. She is mindless at times in her actions, but never with the wrong intentions. That doesn't mean she can't relate with a person's pain.

Her "I do believe you" is still a melody for all.

She is a great observer. She is the only one to observe the small sparkles between her two friends, one a Workaholic cop and the other our Dabang lady. She does try at times to give them a space they need.

A true friend, a lovely daughter and a promising lover. This is what defines Sakshi Anand.

Although she puts on the perfect pretence of being happy on the outside, Sakshi suffers from a dark past. A past which still haunts her in the form of having a bedridden father. Beneath the million-dollar smile came the tears of a heartbroken daughter. But Sakshi never let it hinder her from her task. From the moment she stepped foot into the ETF office, she liberated an aura of positivity. With her simple sympathies for the families who lost a loved one or her support for the budding relationship between her friend and the ETF Chief, Sakshi was a woman who stole our hearts and left a mark for eternity. 

Relationship with other characters:

Ayesha Kapoor:

            Not only was Ayesha Sakshi's colleague. The two girls had become really close friends and Ayesha was the one who helped Sakshi discover the hidden love Sakshi had harboured in her heart for Arjun. Often these two would be found alone late at night at the ETF office where they would finish up their work and would go home together. Like Ayesha played Cupid in Sakshi and Arjun's love story, Sakshi was Cupid for Ayesha and the ETF Chief Sameer Rathore. Our bubbly Sakshi always made sure to give tips to Ayesha in staking a claim on Sameer whenever she got the chance.

Sameer Rathore:

            Although Sameer and Sakshi weren't what we would call close friends, Sameer always held great respect for Sakshi and the two were on a first name basis. The no-nonsense ETF Chief could often be caught smiling at some of Sakshi's antics, which often included getting on the nerves of the second in command of the ETF or connecting cases to the several Bollywood films she'd seen.

Liza D'Cruz:

            Sakshi and Liza both had an easy friendship and the two along with Ayesha could often be found conversing with each other about various topics that ranged from work all the way to choice in men. The two worked closely with each other in many of the cases that only added to their budding friendship. Sakshi along with Liza and Ayesha have affectionately been called "ETF Girls" for their friendship, bravery, and commitment to the work that they did.

Shreekant Sen:

            Almost after the day she had joined, Shree and Sakshi became good friends for their fun and energized nature. The two provided a sense of comic relief and fell into an easy friendship. Shree and Sakshi were always looking out for each other and the tech expert was well aware of the feelings that Sakshi harboured for Arjun. Though he never commented on it, on her birthday, Shree and Ayesha made a bet on whether or not Arjun would wish Sakshi a "Happy Birthday" which showed that both respected Sakshi's love interest and made sure to never mock her.

Chotu (Chandrakant Patil):

            From the moment before Sakshi stepped foot into the building, Chhotu had described her to be "Buddhi, adhmari, ladhkhadati hui" but was in for a pleasant surprise when she first introduced herself to be the newest member of the team. After that, Sakshi had developed an easy-going friendship with Arjun where she often teased him and offered him food while under the supervision of Arjun. The two were often found with Shree and were always joking around and lessening the tension in the air from the cases.

Arjun Suryakant Rawte:

The second in command was not prone to Sakshi's charms and although he often got fed up with her and taunted her, Arjun did care about her. When Sakshi had been "injured" in one of the cases, Arjun had felt guilt and remorse for sending her into a warehouse with armed men. This was where we found Sakshi turning a cold shoulder towards Arjun and the said man with the devil may care attitude started to care for her. That included making sure to help her get in and out of the SUV or simply making sure she doesn't stress out. Sakshi, however, made the mistake of lying to Arjun about her injuries and once again Arjun's attitude towards her changed to the old. His taunts returned but she ignored them and continued to bring the thermos full of his cutting chai with her. 

Mrunal Thakur, born August 1, 1991, is an Indian television actress who hails from a Marathi family Nagpur.  Mrunal rose to fame with her portrayal of the character Gauri Bhosle in the show Mujhse Kuchh Kehti...Yeh Khamoshiyaan where she was paired opposite Mohit Sehgal. After she wrapped up with Khamoshiyaan, Mrunal was roped in to play the character of the ex-crime journalist Sakshi Anand on the show Har Yug Mein Aaega Ek Arjun, where she stole the hearts of many yet again with her smile and chemistry with the show's lead, Shaleen Malhotra. Whilst she was working in Arjun, Mrunal bagged a role in the Marathi film Hello Nandan opposite Adinath Kothare. The movie is yet to be released and Mrunal's fans are eagerly waiting for it. Along with the film, the audience saw Mrunal on the small screen in Ekta Kapoor's show Kumkum Bhagya where she will be essaying the role of the younger sister of the female lead, played by Sriti Jha. She has recently co-stared in the film Toofan with Farhan Akhtar.

The ultimate Flirt. Helper. Maintains relationships with multiple girls. Never backs down from giving justice to any individual. A guy with little bit of reckless attitude, full of humour and courage, Karan better known as Karan aka Robin Hooda. He accompanied Arjun, who resigned from the police force and both of them started to live together in his garage, they use to solve case on their with the help of local people... He addressed Arjun as "Shera" and was a very good friend of him. Together they form the pair, "Karan-Arjun."

 Karan is a ladies man cum a mechanic cum Arjun's partner cum an actor. So many roles he plays but yet he plays them with perfection. Karan is never afraid of facing trouble and is always ready to take risks whether it is catching a truck or facing Arjun's beating when they first met. He doesn't care about the law that is why he is always in trouble with it. Like Arjun says in the child sexual abuse case "even if Karan by-mistake crosses the red traffic signal then the policeman instead of taking fine would directly put him in jail without making a case."

But yet his compassion is always seen the way he always takes care of the street children ensuring that they get an education with food and shelter or helping out his Russian friend. Karan and Arjun first met when Karan had by mistakenly stolen a truck of human organs and Arjun had caught him. After the ETF team's death Arjun had turned to Karan to help him find justice and from there their partnership started.

Karan has a way of always getting his point across like when he told to Arjun about the case when the girl had gone missing and Arjun wouldn't have solved this case if Karan hadn't pointed out about how her Facebook page had not been updated recently or when Karan stops Arjun from attacking the boys in the first case they solved together, the Priyanka case. 

That doesn't mean that Karan is dependent on Arjun to solve the cases. He is equally capable of solving cases on his own like he solved the Pujari (Priest) case and the jungle case. Yet he never lacks humour. He always brings humour to a situation like when in the Ishita case after getting hit on the head he says "why do goons always hit on the head?". He also always either fights with Simran or flirts with her. Arjun and Karan are like Sherlock and Watson. Both will cross any limits and all limits to give justice to any person who seek it.

He is a harmless flirt and is always trying to impress Simran, who enjoys his company and is awed by the genius of little Anjali, the “Einstein”. 

Rohit Purohit as Karan plays this role beautifully. Serious yet humourous, flirtatious yet caring all the sides of Karan he portrayed very nicely. He has played the role of Varun Kashyap in Life Ok's serial Hum ne li hai Shapath and others.

𝕊𝕚𝕞𝕣𝕒𝕟 

 Simran, a fun-loving, bubbly, chirpy and helpful person is also a drama queen with a heart of gold. Simran is an actress who came to get an opportunity to make it big in the film industry when she meets Karan and Arjun and starts solving cases with them. She shares a good camaraderie with Arjun and Karan.

She helps Karan and Arjun in their cases by going undercover for them like when she dressed up as a Bai (Maid)  to go into the husband's house in the Ishita case or when she went to the businessman's office for a job interview to find out whether he drove the car in the drunk driving case. Simran is a sensitive person but when it comes to her acting she in most cases overacts like when she created a scene in the traffic office so that Karan could get the database of the cars or when she wanted to see the cameras in the republic case.

A memorable scene between Arjun and her was when they pretended to be Husband and Wife during a case. She always flirts with Arjun and fights with Karan. But when it comes to matters of giving justice or helping to give, then she never says no to them. 

Sheena Bajaj plays the character of Simran with ease and familiarity. She is best known for her role as dolly in Disney Channel's serial Best of Luck Nikki and others.

𝔸𝕟𝕛𝕒𝕝𝕚

 Choti hai lekin uski dimaag rajdhani express se bhi tezz hai. She is a student, inventor, hacker and a Softwere expert. Give her any task related to computer whether it is creating new IDs, or hacking into the database or even getting forensic reports she will get it. Her Mr Arjun asks for help and she will give it. Anjali, our little Einstein.

 Arjun and Anjali's relationship is like a relationship between friends. Both always help and understand each other. She used to address Arjun as "Mr.Arjun." Anjali always creates something new which can help like a remote controlled camera car or a jacket which has a GPS signal and a battery charger which is charged by the body temperature of the individual. Anjali and Arjun met at the Karate class he conducts at her school but their partnership didn't begin till Anjali impressed Arjun with her smartness when she opened the automatic locked door of the car with Arjun's mobile. Although she gets irritated when others underestimates her like Karan did when he met her for the first time but she happily proves them wrong or when Arjun conveniently forgot to take her on a case outside the city again. 

She gets along well with Karan and tolerates Simran's nonsense but when it comes to solving cases using technology then she is the best. 

Shruti Bisht after being the Choti Hitler in Hitler Didi and Neha in Punar Vivah-Ek Nayi Umeed plays the smart girl in Arjun. She lends a cuteness and smartness to the character Anjali which conveys the message don't underestimate the power of children especially techno children'. She acted in Life Ok's serial Hatim and others.

A journey which started from the schools in Lucknow and moved on to the Hindu college in Delhi both studying and doing theaters but the final destination still awaited him.

It was Mumbai the city of dreams where he spread his wings and moved towards the accomplishment of his goal ' to be a director

Finally in 2008, His wife Gul and he formed the production house named" 4 Lions Films".

      Gorky holds a degree in English Literature from Hindu College at Delhi University. He started working on documentaries at a very young age of 18 and produced documentaries for many illustrious NGOs like the Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and Aga Khan Foundation. He won a gold medal at the International Video Olympiad in Brazil at the age of 20. He went on to work with some of the biggest names in the Indian film industry like Subhash Ghai, Kundan Shah and Red Chillies Entertainment.

He has worked on feature films and ad films as an associate. He has directed content including TV, feature films, ad films and music videos.

He created the detective series  Krishna - Arjun He turned producer in 2008 and co-founded 4 Lions Films with his wife Gul Naz. is direction credits also include "Humse Hai Liife" on Channel V and "Arjun" for Star Plus for 4 Lions Films.

Being the creative head of Arjun it's him who makes everything on the screen look real and his impeccable direction makes the serial a must watch. Everyone remembers the first episode of Arjun the twists, the interaction between Arjun and Riya, the famous pink pen, then boat chase and of course 'Sadrak?a?aya Khalanigraha?aya' and now the Sharadh scene which had got tears to many eyes, the pain both Arjun and Sameer on losing Roshini and of course the underlying care masked by anger on both sides

Arjun as a TV series is one of its kind with the right blend of action, emotion, drama, thrill and message associated with every episode. Making each episode different from the other means new locations, new supporting actors, another story. With all these to be taken care, shooting of the episodes is in itself a task as there isn't a fixed location or set for it. In spite all these barriers Gorky and his team has given us a mystery to crack every weekend and of course a thought to ponder on.

Arjun- Har Yug Mein Aayega Ek, a one of its kind action thriller, that was created with a vision of not just entertainment but also with thought of spreading message be it of human failures, interpersonal relationship that thrive in situations that seem unlikely and how men and women in uniform live their life on duty and outside it.

They truly weave magic and cast a spell on the viewers with their magical writing! You have made us all fall hopelessly in love with the show and of course Arjun and each and every character of the show!!

Arjun: Tumhare irade tumhari harkato se saaf chalakte hai Riya, meri personal life mein dakhal andazi band karo. Nafrat hai mujhe unn logon se jo meri zindagi me taak jhaak karte hai. Akhri baar bol raha hun, door raho mujse.

Riya: Sir... kisi ka sorry bolna shayad apke liye koi value nahi rakhta, main sorry bolbhi chuki hun or genuinely feel bhi kar chuki hun, mujhe ehsaas haiki kya hua, or aap kya feel kar rahe hai. But believe me Sir, main accidentally aapki life me taak jhaak karne lagi, phir mujhecuriosity... Obviously human nature hai, main apni hadein samajti hun, isiliye jan boojh ke maine unhe paar nahi kiya. Jo hua ghalti sehua, sir please...believe me.

Rathod: Rawte.. Thanks. Tumne meri jaan bachai, agar tum sahi waqt pe wahan nahi pohonchte towo log kuch bhi kar sakte the.

Arjun : Main naa hikisi pe ehsaan karta hun or na hi kabhi apni duty chodta hun. Jo kuch bhi hua issi aadat ki waja se hua hai Rathod. In thanks vanks me time waste karne ki jagah agar case ko jaldi solve kare to behter hoga.

Rathod: Ye important hissa tab bhi important kaam karta hai jab isse kaat ke alag karne ki koshish ki jati hai.

Shree: Sir.. Abhi tak Arjun Sir nahi aye.

Rathod: To? Mujhe apna kaam karne ke liye tumhare Arjun sir ki permission ki zaroorat padti hai? Ya security system check karte waqt wo tumhara haath pakdega?

Rathod: Saari baton ko dhyan me rakhna chahiye? Tum rakhte ho saari baatein dhyan mein? Aajke din rakhi thi?

Arjun: Baat ko kahin aur le kar mat jao Rathod.

Rathod: Kyun?? Sach se takleef hoti hai?

Arjun: Mein Bhawani Singh se...

Rathod: Damn it Rawte! Agar tum team ka hissa banke kaam nahi kar sakte ho, to tumhe Team ka hissa hona bhi nahi chahiye. Jo marzi ata hai wo karte ho. Jab dil karta hai aate ho, jab dil karta hai jaate ho. Aaj ke baad dobara tumhari wajah se kisi ko takleef pohonchi, I'm not going to tolerate that.

Rathore: Pachtave se, galtiyon par parda nahin parta hai Rawte

Arjun: Apne liye nahin, Roshni ke liye aaya hoon

Rathore: Uski aur hum sab ki zindagi mein andhera karne ke baad

Arjun: Tumhein mujhe se pareshani hai, ya sirf pareshani hai, aaj tak samajh nahin paaya

Rathore: Rishton ki samajh tumhein thi hi kahan Rawte, jo tum samajh paate

Arjun: Galat waqt pe, sahi baat bhi galat ho jati hai Rathore, shradh karne ke liye aayeho, pura karke baat karte hai.

Rathore: Shradh karnese tumhare maan ko shanti mil sakti hai Rawte, lekin agar tumheinlagta hai ki Roshni ke saath jo hua, uske liye tumhein mafi mil jayegi, galat lagta hai tumhein.

Arjun: Galat tum ho Rathore. Zindagi mein rahat ki umeed ki kam hi hai, lekin mushkil yehai ki yeh zindagi itni asaani se guzregi bhi nahin, maafi ki talaash nahin hain mujhe.

Rathore: Acha hai kyunki maafi tumhein milegi bhi nahin, tum chahe jo marzi keh lo Rawte, lekin sach yeh hai ki Roshni aaj humare beech sirf tumhari wajah se nahin hai, aur iske liye main tumhe kabhi maaf nahin kar sakta, I can never forgive you.

Ayesha: Sir kuch dino se maine notice kiya hai ki aapke aur Arjun sir ke beech mein kuch tension sa hai, mera koi haq tu nahi banta ki main ap dono ki personal life mein interfere karun, lekin Sir, aap hi ne sikhaya hai ki jab hum duty par hai to humare beech mein koi personal problems nahi aani chahiye.

Arjun: Dard aur gusse se badi hoti hai badle ki aag, jo insaan se kuch bhi karwa sakti hai,jitna zyada dard hota hai utni hi zyada ye aag jalti hai... jab tak insaan iss aag ko bujha na de. Usse chain nahi milta...

Sakshi: Iss baat ko tumse behtar or koun jan sakta hai Arjun

Rathore: Hosh me aao Rawte. Pagal hogaye ho? Hum ETF ke zimedaar officers hai. Hum apni zaati zindagi apne kaam mein nahi mila sakte. We don't have that privilege. Hum ek lead ko follow kar rahe hai, tumne uske saare evidence mita dale. SIKANDER! Konse Sikander ki baat kar rahe ho tum? Tumne dekha hai Sikander ko? Tum logon ne dekha hai Sikander ko? Maine bhi nahi dekha hai. Sikander sirf ek naam hai Rawte. Ek saaye ke peeche bhaag rahe ho tum. Badle ki aag ne andha kar diya hai tumhe. Roshni ki maut ke lie tum sikander ko zimedaar thehrate ho, main tumhare gusse ko zimmmedar thehrata hun, tumhare ghusse ne jaan li hai Roshni ki. Aur agar tumne apne aap pe kaboo nahi kiya Rawte tu ye gussa ek din hum sabko jala ke raakh kar dega. Hosh me ao Rawte...

Roshni: jab main tumhari koi baat sunne mein interested hi nahi ho to tum mujhe bataoge kya?

Rathod: Roshni sach much...

Roshni: Sach much..tumhe koi kadar nahi hai meri. (pointing towards Arjun) Isse kaho kiye sabse bada idiot hai.

Arjun: Tum bohot bade idiot ho.

Roshni: Isse kaho ki mujhe iski koi kahani nahi sunni.

Arjun: isse tumhari koi bhi kahani nahi sunni.

Rathod: Roshni...

Roshni: Isse kahu ki ye mujhe akela chhod de.

Arjun: Isse akela chhoddo.

Rathod: Roshni?

Roshni: Mujhe isse koi baat nahi karni.

Arjun: Tumne suna? Isse tumhari koi baat nahi sunni.

Rathod: Roshni... tum janti ho na? Police walo ki zindagi kitni tough hoti hai I mean bahar se jaisi dikhti hai use bhi zyada tough, kabhi bhi hume duty kicall ati hai, koi bhi emergency rise ho sakti hai. Bus aisi ek emergency aagayi thi jana pada... lekin... lekin maine tumhe iss shehar ki sabse safe jagah pe bheja... apne dost ke ghar...

I'm almost crying as I write this. Can't believe it has been 9 years since the show began and seven since it ended. Just yesterday I was rewatching an episode and it felt like the show was around just a while ago. All this time, the forum and it's members have kept the show alive in our hearts and on this virtual platform. 

The RR fights, Chotu, Shree and Riya's masti, Dabang Aisha and her witty remarks, Lisa's inputs, Sakshi's funny replies : all of this made the show so much closer to our hearts. The characters might have died or left the show but they'll never leave our hearts.

Karan, Simran and Anjali explored a different side of Arjun and it was soo heartwarming. 

I'm still waiting for season 2. 😭

I remember our ETF Addas : the chat club where we would have so much fun chatting about the show and everything else. I remember one day we were talking about the show coming to an end and someday we won't be around here. Some didi said ki hum to yahan se kahin nahi jayenge, hamare bachhe aur unke bachhe hume maasi-nani bolenge lekin hum yahan se nahi jaane wale! 

You guys aren't around anymore but just by chance you decide to visit this thread, know that I still, and will always miss you. I have made some of the most amazing friends cum sisters here. They have inspired me, guided me, helped me become a better author. Given me the confidence to keep on writing, no matter how trash the first draft is, you will always improve. 

I don't have much to say right now but thank you everyone for being a part of this journey, this show and this forum! 🤗

✨✨9 Years of Arjun ✨✨

The show which had the potential to be the number one show currently on ITV if it was not abruptly shut. The very nuances the writing, direction, dialogues and action had, made this show a huge deal in those times. I was not old enough to actually make the show a part of my life that time, it was a good show and I enjoyed watching it. Once it ended I didn't feel a pinch of pain as I had many other crime shows in the list. But due to this Covid situation, I got time to sit down and revisit this show. And now there is a hollow feeling in my heart. 

I shivered each and every moment Arjun remembered his dark days. I cried with him. I lost my temper with him. I fought with his inner demons too, trying to justify what had happened, why did it happen and how could it be stopped. But it was just a viewer's thoughts and nothing much could have been done about it. 

That's when I stumbled across IF and I became a member. Started writing FF based of the show, living in the world where I would spy on the ETF team's daily routine and what not 😂😂 It may look absurd to anyone, but when the world was shut and I had nothing else to do, I would live among the show. 

I still want it to come back and till date somewhere I hope that Arjun will come back to avenge Roshni's death. But at the same time I know it has been too late and now only a miracle is possible. So I keep hoping everyday, to get a news about the second season. 

Until there is no news about the second season, let's keep celebrating and remembering Arjun.

Now while writing or even watching the show again there is a lump in my throat. The day I read the news I just prayed God saying it should be untrue and nothing should happen to him as I was so attached to sir. And today it was a  lot more difficult as I had to go through all the episodes for screen caps and I found some of his best clips. Never in my life I had imagined there would be a special post for him in such a manner. But here it is! 

Never even imagined that he will leave us all so soon. But as we say, God's planning always surprises us and here it shook my world. You will always be remembered sir 🥺🥺

We saw him first in episode 1 and there he put Sameer and Arjun together on insistence of Raghu to search for his daughter Sheen, who was kidnapped by Pathan and was being sent to another country. 

Later he was the reason for Arjun to join ETF officially and us getting a team on the pretext of giving Sikandar's information to him. Though Coelho didn't pick up his call nor give him any information (we can ignore that 😜) Arjun became an integral part of ETF and learnt to worm in a team. 

His care and concern for both Sameer and Arjun (especially Arjun) could be clearly seen in this episode. He knew Arjun had messed up by attacking Pathan in front of the court (that's what Pathan wanted) and as a dutiful parent he sat there listening to the complains from his higher authorities. He did not expect Sameer to take Arjun's side nor did the juniors expect anything as such. But to everyone's surprise Sameer stood by Arjun, even when he could clearly state that Arjun violated the rules. 

Ayesha had joined ETF and this was her official welcome to the team. The situation here was pretty tense as Ayesha was really upset at them for spoiling her mission. But still she kept a professional attitude. And Arjun was waiting to talk to Coelho about Sikandar but as usual Coelho escaped without giving any lead.
