But I am sad abt how woman are treating other woman. Don't know when their mindset changes to value themselves...

So true. Characters like Ishwari have fixed mind set but if you see Mami , she is a lot more open to accept cultural changes and hence more flexible as a mother in law. Her relationship with her son is more friendly unlike Dev- Ishwari. Dev worships his mom where Vicky loves his mother but he more friendly and have the freedom to say "No" or "you are wrong" to his mom. That doesnt happen with Dev and thats where the problem is.

I agree with everything you have mentioned about women in patriarchal society.

I watched few episodes of season here and there. I hate ishwari. She should have learned not to interfere, sorry i mean control her children’s life. But no she would never learn.

Dev Ishwari relationship is just toxic. Everyone should love and respect their parents. But u should not take for-granted other relationship. When ishawari is wrong, dev does not have to disrepect her but he can politely explain where she is wrong. But he never listen any thing. Feels like he cannot do anything without her which is alarming.

If i talk about myself, i love my mom. But we do have some disagreements. She guides me but at the same when i feel my decision is good, she just let me be.

I feel like partners like Dev who are completely depended upon their mother and their mother like ishwari is a nightmare. But these people do exist which is so sad as one women is against another.
