1The Suicide Squad has released in UK and it is getting great reviews and audience response.
The movie is currently at 97% fresh eating at Rotten Tomatoes which is the same as Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Highest rated comic book and superhero film there).
Obviously The Suicide Squad's rating would go down as the number of reviews increase but it's still a big achievement for DC.
The movie would release in India on August 5 in theaters, one day before releasing in US and on HBO Max. A big movie is releasing in theaters in India after 4 months, the last being Vakeel Saab. So there's a good chance for a large crowd to show up to watch this film.
Still there is the risk of catching Covid if you go and watch this movie in theaters. The movie is only releasing in theaters right now, so it's the only legal way to watch the film apart from watching it on HBO Max through VPN. But be ready to have a hole in your pocket if you're going that route.
If you're not in a hurry then you can wait for the movie to release legally on OTT in India. The rest would obviously pirate the film for free. But unlike Black Widow, we do have an easy and legal option to watch this movie by going to the theaters, if they are open in your city.
