May be it's just how they speak so can't help it, may be they don't want to focus or work hard on it. But you are right, even after so many years they still suck when it comes to delivering dialogues
Deepika's diction is awful and that carries over into all her roles. The end result is her awful dialogue delivery movie after movie. I don't know why she doesn't at least try to lose that either. From OSO to now, it's stayed the same.😵
Sonam is more tolerable but she obviously has that way of talking that prevents her from getting into the skin of the characters she plays too.

I agree Deepikas delivery is a bit grating
Sonam (perhaps she can’t help it) always has a tone of arrogance. 😆

Sonam needs someone to dub for her. Auditions open.
And kangana. All three are terrible at it
True
Sonam sounds like a whiny south Delhi girl no matter whom she’s playing on screen
Deepika sounds like a news reporter from doordarshan who reads off the teleprompter without putting any emotion / modulation into it
Tapsee and Richa Chadda needs to be included in the awful dialogue delivery list
No way can Deepika's dialogue delivery be equated with Sonam's
Sonam's is way worse than Deepika's - it's stilted, it's without any emotion of any sort
The worst thing that can be said about Deepika's dialogue delivery is her diction is somewhat flawed- and that's because Hindi is not her mother tongue
