He was shocked.she was pregnant? What had he done?how is he going to face maa, Gombi and dhara bhabi? He panicked and cut the call.he needed time to think.
She curled up on the floor of her room bringing her knees close to her chest.she buried her face in her arms and started crying.
Why did he cut the call like that? Did he not care at all? It's his baby, he has to say something.Her heart filled with all kinds of negative thoughts.
She took her phone again to dial him but stopped.
Maybe he is just shocked.even she was speechless when she saw the pregnancy test.she tried to console herself, but deep down in her heart she didn't get a good feeling.
Her phone rang.she picked it up before the first ring could finish.
" Mujhe tumse milna hai shaam 5 baje purane Somnath Mandir ke peeche." He said getting straight to the point and cut the call.he has made this mess and he has to clear it.
Raavi saw a ray of hope.
She waited impatiently for the evening.
She went to the decided place half an hour early and waited for him.
He came and stood before her.sje couldn't read his expressions.
"Jo hua woh nahi hona Chahiye tha.baat sirf hamari nahi hamare families ki bhi hai.agar yeh baat bahar AA gayi to unki bahut insult hogi " he said with a straight face
Raavi nodded.
" Par ab hum kya Kare?" She asked looking at him for advice.
" Mera ek dost medical ki padhai Kar Raha hai.maine usse baat karli hai.kal subah hum Uske paas jayenge.woh tumhe dawai de dega..." He could not continue as he was harshly interrupted by raavi.
" DEV...yeh tum kya keh rahe ho? Abortion?" She asked shocked
" To aur koi better idea hai tumhare paas?" He asked irritated.
" Hannn...hum dhara Di ko batayenge...Woh hamari baat samjhegi..Woh suman kaki ko convince Kar legi hamari Shaadi ke liye ..." Raavi said but stopped when Dev began to laugh.
" Shaadi? Seriously? Mujhe pata tha tum ek bewakoof ladki ho Jo Apne sapno ki duniya Mai rehti hai, par yeh to hadh ho gayi.maine Kaha mujhe tumse Shaadi Karni hai? " He questioned her.
She was shocked.yes, she has never talked about marriage directly to him but whole somnath knows that she loves him from childhood.she had always dreamt of becoming a pandya bahu, certainly not in such circumstances but this was the most logical next step.
" Dev ...yeh tum kya keh rahe ho? Hum dono ek dusre se pyar karte hai. Humara baccha ane wala hai. To Shaadi karne Mai kya dikkat hai ?" she said holding his hands.
He jerked off her hands.
" Hum dono nahi raavi...sirf tum mujhse pyar karti ho.maine Kabhi Kaha hai ki Mai tumse pyar karta hoo?" He said harshly
Raavi stumbled backwards.
" To phir us Raat .." she couldn't complete
" Jo bhi hua Woh ek Galti thi.maine tumse Kabhi pyar nahi kya.hum dono ek party Mai the...Acha mahol tha aur tum Baar Baar mujhse chipak rahi thi.it was a one time thing." Dev said , this time with a raised Voice.
Raavi slapped him.she couldn't believe she has been in love with this guy her entire life.where was the Dev she knew from childhood? He had gone to US for further studies, but can 3 years change a person this much?she felt humilated and used.forget love , he didn't even respect her.how can he trivialise the issue? Does he even realise what he is saying?
Dev became angered by the slap.
" you know what.galti Meri hi hai ki maine iss problem ke baare mai ek practical solution socha"he took out some money and put it in her hands roughly
" Jab Apne khayalon ke duniya se bahar AA jao to Kisi acche doctor ke paas chale Jana. Pehle Soch Raha tha tumhe leke Chala jau, but you are not worth it " he said and went away .
Raavi felt the whole world spin.she looked at the money intently. She felt as if she couldn't breath.her whole world came crashing down.her dignity was shattered in the worst possible way.what was she going to do? What will she tell maasima and mausapa? How hurt they will be?they have raised her as their own child and all she is going to give them is pain and humiliation.she reached home somehow and locked herself up in her room.she does not have the energy to talk to anyone today.she went to lie down on her bed hoping that all this is a bad dream and it will all be over when she wakes up.
PANDYA NIWAS
Shiva returned from the store and was washing his hands by the well.
" Bhabiki...bahut bhuk Lagi hai " he said
Dhara brought food for him and sat besides him.
" Aapne bhi nahi khaya na? " He questioned
"Dev ko aa Jane de...phir kha lungi ...Tu kha le" dhara said
Shiva shook his head.he knew his bhabi won't eat before him, Dev and krish.
" Bhabi ..Aap kha lo...Dev Shyam ko hi Dukaan se kahi Chala Gaya tha.apne dosto ke Saath kahi matargasti Kar Raha Hoga .ho Sakta hai khake bhi aye " shiva insisted.
"Kahi Woh raavi se to Milne nahi Gaya?" Dhara asked
Shiva was enraged by her name. He knew she has been after his brother for a long time and wanted to get into their family.
" Bachpan se dimag kharap Karke rakha hai us mamikibehenkibeti ne..Mai bol Raha hoo bhabi jab tak shiva pandya zinda hai Woh ladki iss Ghar Mai nahi ghus Sakti "shiva warned.
" Gussa tere naak par rehta hai.kyu barud ki Tarah phat Raha hai? Ab kya Kiya us bechari ne? " Dhara asked
" Woh Bechari nahi hai bhabi...Mami ki parwarish hai.aap aur Gombi na mahaan ho.aap log bhul sakte ho ki maami ne iss parivaar ke sath kya Kiya par Mai Kabhi nahi bhul Sakta " shiva said trying to control his tone.
" Shiva abhi tak to Dev ki Shaadi ki baat bhi nahi uthi.usne Kaha bhi nahi hai ki Uske Mann Mai raavi ke liye Kuch hai bhi ki nahi." Dhara said
" Mere Mann Mai Uske liye Kuch nahi hai bhabi" Dev said entering the hall.
Shiva was a bit taken aback .he had never directly denied having any feelings for raavi .he always talked to her sweetly, took her out on his bike despite his repeated warnings to stay away from her .what changed today?
" Mai Kabhi bhi ek aise parivaar ki ladki ko iss Ghar Mai nahi launga.shiva bilkul thk keh Raha hai , Aap log bhul sakte ho par hum Unke paap Kabhi nahi bhul sakte." Dev said as he sat down to have his food
" Dekha shiva ..ab to tere Mann shaant hua " dhara said.
" Sirf Yaha kehne se Kuch nahi Hoga . Usse chipakna band Kar. Uske dil Mai tere liye bahut gadbad chal rahi hai.bol Raha hoo main " shiva warned him
" Thk hai...aaj se nahi milunga usse.khush? " Dev said
Shiva was happy that his brother was finally listening to his advice, but he felt a bit uneasy.how would raavi react to Dev ignoring her?he denied it but a small part of his heart was concerned for that gadhedi, but he quickly shrugged it off .the earlier she knew the truth, the better. Little did he know that it was too late.
Here is the first part guys.i know there are no shivi scenes, but the build up is necessary for the story.do leave your comments and let me know what you think🤗
