After the success of Jealousy, we decided to continue writing a few more drabbles like that. The public even demanded that to happen, so how could we deny them?😆🤣. This drabble is which is written by me and Aaliya aka GrilledCheese. I hope you'll enjoy reading this as much as Jealousy, or maybe even more!🤣

-||the happy birthday||-
Dhara scooped a few spoons of shrikhand into a bowl that she had made for Shiva after she got to know that Shiva now likes to eat shrikhand. It was his birthday today and just like always, Dhara wanted to be the first one to wish him a happy birthday. With a smile on her face, she was about to exit the kitchen but was stopped by her husband midway.
"Dhara, tu yeh shrikhand lekar kahan jaa rahi hai?" Gautam asked. Though he had an idea as to where Dhara was going, he didn't think she'll be doing this now that Shiva was married and this was his first birthday with Raavi as his wife.
"Tum aise kyun pooch rahe ho? Tumhetoh pata hai na ki har saal main Shiva ko uske birthday pe sabse pehle wish karti hoon." Dhara replied with a frowny face.
Gautam sighed and explained it to her, "Dhara, yeh Shiva ka Raavi ke saath first birthday hai. Mujhe nahi lagta ki tujhe abhi unke kamre mein jaana chahiye."
"Aisa kyun?" Dhara didn't like the idea of not being the first one to wish her favorite baccha.
Gautam rolled his eyes in response to Dhara obliviousness, "Arre Raavi uski biwi hai, uska mann ho ga na Shiva ko sabse pehle wish karne ka."
Dhara's happy mood was soiled by hearing Raavi's name. How can a wife replace a mother? She firmly shook her head to clear her thoughts. Her Shiva and forgetting about her? That would not happen in this birth. She still remembered how berserk Shiva had gone when she hadn't talked to him for a few days, to the extent of burning his hand to get her attention. Her heart had shattered into pieces seeing her favorite baccha hurt himself, but she had forced herself to stay emotionless for the sake of the greater good.
And her plan had worked, Raavi had come to tend to Shiva. She had made so many sacrifices to stay away from her son, despite her heart pleading otherwise, all for the sake of her son's happy married life.
But now that Shiva and Raavi were finally being cordial to each other, and their relationship was finally getting back on track, Dhara could stop sacrificing her time with her beloved son for other people.
Dhara smiled happily, as she hurried out of the kitchen, ignoring Gautam's advice and his calls for her to stop. She needed to get to Shiva before the clock struck twelve. She was sure her son would be waiting for her to wish him first as always, and she could not keep him waiting!
She reached Shiva's bedroom and knocked on the door eagerly. By then, Gautam had reached there too. Dhara expected the door to open immediately, and Shiva's excited face to greet her. But there was no response. She frowned. 'So gaya kya? Nahi nahi, impossible! Meri wish ke bagair use neend hi nahi aayegi. Shayad knock sunayi nahi diya hoga.' she thought and knocked again but got no response.
She moved closer to the door and knocked harder. Sounds of faint moans, whispers, and giggles floated outside. Gautam looked uncomfortable.
"Hum shayad galat waqt par aaye hain Dhara. Chal na, Shiva ko subah wish kar lenge" he said.
Dhara disregarded his words as usual. "Maine kaha tha na! Shiva jaga hua hai. Mera hi wait kar raha hai. Aa raha hoga bas" she told her husband, gripping the bowl of shrikhand, her voice laden with enthusiasm.
The door finally opened after a few minutes, and both Gautam and Dhara were greeted by a very disheveled-looking Shiva.
Dhara's eyes widened in horror seeing Shiva like that while Gautam did a face-palm and turned around not being able to face his brother. He knew that something like this must be going on but Dhara was too adamant to listen to him forget being able to understand why he was trying to stop her from knocking at Shiva's door at a time like this.
Shiva reddened at the sight of his Gaumbi and Dhara bhabhi. Raavi's way of wishing him a happy birthday had gotten him too lost in pleasure that he forgot about Dhara coming to wish him like every other time.
Oh, shit!
Dhara's gaze moved away from Shiva and over to Raavi who was hiding under the covers. Her gaze moved back to Shiva, noticing the bruise on his neck and she lowered her eyes immediately. Feeling awkward and extremely embarrassed, Dhara hastily handed Shiva the bowl of shrikhand and mumbled a quick happy birthday before running away. While Gautam apologized to Shiva before going after his wife.
