It's all a give and take for the paps. Whoever gives them maximum traffic on their IG pages, they will chase that person😆The hype generally lasts for 3-4 months. After that, it completely depends on how much are the celebs able to maintain their public engagement.

As far as the general public in Mumbai is concerned, they don't give a damn. Even film actors aren't chased, except for the likes of Sallu, SRK, AB Sr. toh TV actors bohot door ki baat hai😆

Chalu Chapat Show ka trp is 1.9 and did not even make it to the top 10, Indian Idol impressions around 2.7

Actually Sid, Asim, Shehnaaz, Rashmi and all who came expect for that Poonawala changed the stars of colors TV, it was going thru a very bad phase for two years just not in terms of trps but received lot flak for taking off shows within mnths of their launch.

Sid was paid peanuts (though he may have recovered his dues later on), he literally resurrected BB after the colassol losses which Endemol and colors suffered after Season 12. The results can be still seen as his MV has crossed millions and Ekta offered a web series to Sid.

Yeh season ko bachane ke liye Drama Queen Rakhi ko bulana pada.. With due respect the Queen is Rakhi in this season..
