Asya OS
Hello lovely people!
So, I'd been reading poetry recently, and watching reruns of qh ( nothing new there ;D) , which prompted me to write this.
Long story short, episode 195 had me thinking, wondering, rhyming. It's where Asya finally comes together, successfully confessing their love.
Please know it's my first time with poetry, so i'm still at a kiddie level. ( And excited like one to share it!!)
I hope you enjoy reading this different take as much I enjoyed writing it! Also,
Happy 2021 :)

"Let's call us love"
Was it the moonlight shimmering,
maybe her lips shivering?
The night light was different,
its white glow magnificent.
Distance yawned and souls pined,
eyes asked why were hands confined?
They saw each other like it was love at first sight,
dreams did come true two hearts realized.
"Marry me" his lips whispered at last
"Will be yours until the end" her answers weren't afar.
"How did you grow to love me?" when he asked next,
she smiled in a way, his psyche was annexed.
"You've set my world aflame, brought back stars lost,
I never grew to love you, I was always yours"
Gravity did its thing then, tears flowed freefall,
fingers clutched tighter, sanity unrecalled.
Eyes desperate he said "I'd keep you happy, you shall never leave my side"
"It's a promise then" she said, and he knew they'd make it past.
Skin tingled, he wasn't sure why it still hurt,
until he noticed her teardrops on his shirt.
Tight hold, his universe shed tears in his arms,
he let it all out too, guilt clawed that he'd missed the alarms.
They vowed right there and then,
though silent, this promise wasn't one to dispense.
Tides would turn, earth dispersed; resonance of their love,
Oh! it would just not end.
For now they'd bleed for days to come,
the poison of past month, often, would leave them numb.
But he'd retire those visions once he weds her soul to his lips
Yes she'd cry at nights, but she'd cry from passion they've become.
