I guess if Naagin sequel actually coming(can't trust this PH after them ending 4 shows incomplete) then they may be waiting for Colors Naagin to end to give confirmed news. Only this PH has guts to compete with Ekta- 1st Chandrakanta and then Naagin. Both were better than Ekta versions.
