So Meera is a water goddess

Okay, now I know and understood why she out of all the people in her family was highlighted as close to Bani and someone capable of understanding the supernatural, and it’s actually because she is also a supernatural being herself, and it turns out that she is a water goddess.

So if she had chosen to go ahead with her real father, then she would have attained or regained all her powers but at the cost of leaving behind her loved ones in human world and she chose the latter, that is her human family over powers. That makes her a gem, someone that isn’t greedy for powers.

However this while revelation was very disappointing, I mean there were no real hints and it just came out of the blue. Like her getting controlled by waters, I thought it was because of Markaat but it turns out it was her father doing it to get her back to the aquatic world. Now I wonder if she would actually go and claim her powers in the future if required although she said that she’d never return, i feel it would happen the other way round because judging by her nature I guess she wouldn’t care and would just do whatever it takes to help her loved ones. I’m looking forward to know more about her if there is an arc dedicated to her any day over this Markaat rubbish.
