The way you write is definitely so good, but the way you explore the mythology and the depth of existing characters, their strengths, and weaknesses, and turn the usually "meah" Naagin story into a true "fantasy-esque" narrative is really great. I wanted the side characters to have some reason for being in the story too. I like to think that after her initial resentment for cheels washes away, she can find her way in the family.
The real markaat is something we're not getting. matlab they show everyone is scared of him but nothing other than that. So, I wanted to give that edge. I like to think that even the demigods in myths can go bad and mess up lives. So, yes, we've got Markaat.
To be honest, that's my favourite part in any story. When the family tree is complicated and messed up, there's a depth in each character of the family.
Trust me, I love the Cheel family. I like them more than Bani's irritating family. Except for Meera. SHe's still bearable. OMG twins are almost not having any importance. Chachi still brings that comic factor.
