Rekha and Amitabh's affair was extremely well known even in the days when the media was so much lesser. Even my parents talk about their affair. 😆 There's no way her husband didn't already know about it before marrying her.

Rekha is the most misunderstood Indian film personality. Like ever!!!

If anyone is interested, watch Simi Garewal interview. There you can get fleeting glimpses of staunch, sensitive, vulnerable South Indian woman who don’t prefer to share true feelings even to own shadow.

I have a feeling that the more wounded she is, the more layers she will don. Whether it is to show the world she is fine or to show the shadow in mirror that she is ok, only God and she knows. Bollywood or any wood in India haven’t seen anyone like her. They expected the wounded to be diminished, not seem strong & poised. Hence all these stupid statements from them.

All that Sindhoor and garbs seem more of provocation than anything serious. I don’t buy the whole pining for AB angle, she was abandoned by a womanizer as a kid and had to get into a rut as a result. She might have jumped into relationships in want of companionship which eluded her most of her youth, but she doesn’t come across as someone hanging on to things just because they sound romantic. She seen and experienced too much sh*t to be in some sort of lala land.
