Thank you for being the only one to call this out. When this film came out, most users on this very forum were talking about how much Rani overacted. How loud and screechy she was. How any woman who acted this way would not only lose her children but be justified in losing her children. Rani did not even base her performance on the real life Debika. She based her acting on her own mother which shows what a dysfunctional family Rani comes from where this type of behavior was normal and not considered acting.

I was watching this film with an audience and people were bursting into hysterical laughter during the "emotional" scenes because of Rani's own hysterics. This performance has singlehandedly embarrassed all proud Indians because now foreigners will see this movie and think this is how we Indians act abroad.
