As they were walking, Suman says, "I don't think we are going in the right direction". Suddenly, they heard a loud sound. Shravan grabs Suman's hand and hides behind her. She laughs, "Is exploring the forest still fun? You are such a scaredy-cat". Shravan straightens up and says, "I'm not scared. I'm just worried about your safety". Suman rolls her eyes and laughs. They both hear that odd sound again and become worried. They turn around and see an old man holding a lantern. Shravan takes Suman's hand and starts running. He screams that a ghost is following them. 

Suman checks behind and sees that the man too is running behind them. As they reach some distance Shravan stops and speaks, "He isn't a ghost Suman! If he was a ghost he could have stretched his hands to get hold of us" "Obviously Shravan he isn't a ghost but he can be a goon he was running behind us!" As they were talking the man appeared in front of them holding Shravan's wallet.

Shravan laughed and thanked him while Suman glared at Shravan for his stupidity. The man asked them why they were in the forest so late at night as it was dangerous for them. Shravan explained that they were lost but Suman tugged his arm to stop from telling all the details to this stranger. She had a bad feeling about this man. The man offered to show them the way and Shravan started following him. Suman pulled Shravan and said, "I don't think we should trust him so easily. Something seems off about him. Why is he in this forest so late at night?" Shravan assured Suman that nothing was wrong but she couldn't ignore her gut feeling.

As they continue to follow the man, Suman continues to warn Shravan not to be so naive but Shravan says the same thing. By this time, they starts to realize a familiar scent & a familiar direction but Suman still is doubtful. Shravan says, "Seriously? You wanted to head back & now that we are heading back, you still are suspicious?" Suman says, "One should be prepared to defend themselves. You don't know. These people lure people into the wrong direction by faking to take them via the original route." Shravan says, "You watch too much of Savdhan India and Crime patrol that is why your mind is like that. You already have a negative mentality against civilians. Now, you are opinionated about the man who is helping us. Grow up, Suman!" He breaks away from while she looks stunned, slightly offended. She says, "Well, when we do get lost, then we'll see who is really opinionated." She follows behind Shravan & the man.  

Shravan was walking with the man and suddenly he asked if Suman was Shravan's girlfriend. Shravan was taken aback by the personal question and shook his head. The man smirked and asked why were they in the forest alone so late at night and leered at Suman. Shravan noticed Suman looked really uncomfortable. Maybe Suman was right about this man and he should have listened to her. Shravan held Suman's hand to make her feel safer and told the man, "Thank you for your help but I think we can find our way back from here...our camp is nearby". The man pulled out a knife and said that they can't leave so easily. Suman grabbed Shravan's arm and they ran at full speed. Shravan protectively pulled Suman close to him as they hid behind a tree from the man. 

Within a moment's notice they are encircled by a group of dacoits. Suman remembers learning of them while reading an article in the newspaper. She and Shravan are really amused at the coincidence of things. The intimidating men force them into walking onto a cold damp path of the jungle. They arrive at a little camp like site surrounded by more brawny men with even bigger guns.

Suman suggests that we distract that man from these dacoits. Shravan says that they could be related so we shouldn't make hasty decisions. Suman says, "Yeah, says the man who thinks that I'm opinionated." Shravan says, "Well, categorizing people runs in your genes especially starting from your grandfather." Suman says, "Oh yeah, as if fool people with your charming words and talks runs in your family." Shravan says, "Don't go on my family." Suman says, "Well, you started it." They both glare at each other. 

Suman rolls her eyes and says we should stop fighting otherwise we both will die. Suddenly, a jeep comes in and Khurana is driving. He noticed that Suvan were missing and was told that they were seen going towards the forest so he is here to rescue them. Suvan quickly sit into the jeep while being chased and safely return to their campsite. They are reprimanded for their behavior and Suman glares at Shravan because it was his idea and now she got in trouble because of him. Shravan thinks to himself how will he confess his feelings to Suman now since she is mad at him. He decides that he must do something special for her to fix her mood and then he will tell her his feelings.

He wakes up early the next morning and makes Suman's favorite gajar ka halwa. Suman wakes up to find Shravan decorating the bowl and tray with Sorry Suman written with almonds. She understands that he is actually sorry. Shravan gets up and sees Suman, as he is about to give it to her Khurana comes and eats the almonds. He thanks Shravan for the halwa and takes away the bowl!

Shravan pulls his hair in frustration because Suman is ignoring him and he needs to think of some other way to make up to her. In the evening, after much pleading, Suman agrees to finally talk to him. Shravan covers her eyes and takes her near the river where the water was clear as glass. Suman is mesmerized looking at the night sky full of lanterns that seemed to float beyond the horizon and over the mountains. She turns around to see Shravan holding a lantern and he invites her to light it and to release it with him. As she lights the lantern, she can't take her eyes off Shravan who's face glowed from the reflection of the warm hues of the fire. He looks up at her but she looks away pretending to focus on the lanterns in the sky.
