Agree with most of the points. But Sandeep, Writers, actors, production values and direction were top notch till Raima's entry. 

See this show deserved a better trp numbers based on these episodes alone and as producer who belived he had good content was probably expecting the sand and cement his position rather than fighting for the place.. 

Here l beleive the audiences (trp) let him down. Mathere track one of the best with very few loopholes but it fetched only 1.6🤔

PS. I still find this show much better than what is currently being shown in star plus. After today's episode I watched SP 8pm show.. Man that was eye opening and cooled disappointed/anger a bit.

Only the content is not the factor in trps. Like the ipl weeks, holidays, diwali time, the trps normally see a drop. That doesnt mean a track has failed. For audience to get hooked they also need sometime . If a track is scrapped in a week bec it didnt get good trps , the overall storyline will start turning bizarre. Which is what happened with khkt.

Yes but KHKT was realised during the vacation time without many holidays. The first 70 episodes did not have those major reasons you have mentioned.

Also Mathre track was a greatly executed one and was disappointed to see it not getting better trps. It had all the masalas viewers like...

I don't think KHKT changed their tracks because of TRP failure. They brought forward all the tracks incl, wedding with too much ott drama.. Even here they dodged a bullet and in the end desired numbers. Then why the hell they went back to ott drama again? Making Sona the victim and everyone else in sippy family villans?? 

For this kind of track to work where blood relation shown to be a cold hearted person then they should have established Nishi as a clear villan from get-go.. 

Maybe then this whole post Marraige tracks would have resonated with the both trp& content driven audiences.. now nishi and everyone looks like a clown..

So it's not the track change but the breaking of family bonds without a solid back story justification is what ruined KhKt. It fail to connect with viewers. Become just a drama that no one relates /connect to..

I feel for post-leap Episodes too this was not their plan what was actually shown in d telecast.Cz immediately before leap sonakshi comes and challenges Rohit and next episode she's all dukhiyari aatma 😔😆may be they had the plan to revamp sonakshi as a strong lady post all that dhokha which she got at the hands of sippys.But star again spoiled sikcand's plan and what we got were all the time rota hua Rohit with repetitive scenes and poor sonakshi.Totally waste Episodes and not worth recalling.Kind of damage starplus caused to this show is sick and it's probably better that it got shut down before last nail in coffin

the seperation and leap was not even in the story they planned! The marriage track that they showed was not written by sikkand! They rani and yqshwant track was not written by them! What they were gonna show by bringing in ajit ka char was beautiful! The wedding and after wedding track they showed wasn't what sikkand planned! They scrapped the reception and honeymoon!! And they disn't even allow sikkand to show them making love! Acc to what sikku wrote...it would have come in 1st week of jan! 😫😫😫

Someone in the forum mentioned Sandip has been in industry for 15 years. Is KHKT his first solo work ? That might explain why he could hold on to a story line for less than 3 months. 

Just curious as he feels his tracks were scrapped. What's his best project so far ?

I think Sandiip first project as a producer is "Daai kilo prem" in Star plus. KHKT is his second project as a producer.

Oh .. thank you . Looks like even that show was under Ekta 's banner as per Wiki.

Probably being under Ekta , he thought it's easy.  Just his first failure then - but he gave up so soon and so badly. And also said he'll never do content based shows again. His aadarsh was just for 75 episodes.

Yes absolutely agree...in the era of short movies...even some spanning 8 episodes and some evn 8 minutes feel someone good can extract good ...in whatever time he she get’s ....can’t discuss previous tracks as discussed a lot already 

But look at current track...don’t feel like watching itself...super virus track is going on for last many episodes...Name should be Jaha Virus waha hum 😂😂

And what a pathetic track ....it went on badly and even will end in same way probably...he could have made it different for a month...anyways now there is nothing to lose...no trps required...no extension expected...then why did he not show his creative side now ....

Apparently makers are showing their frustration on SP by trolling their own show. And why waste logic on a show that's already ending. They are all for showing very good content, but the last 120 odd episodes (out of roughly 200) were out of sheer frustration because all they wanted was just TRP audience to love his show. Also, their promos, tracks and thoughts were cancelled (by the channel), leads received pathetic clothes (from the channel !?) and there were scheduling issues too (due to channel? ). They want to prove how Indian audience like regressive shows and that TRP increases with all illogical content. Hang on if you still feel why TRP is stagnant inspite of last 120 epis of typical iTV stuff, he'll prove it by end of week. 

I think the iconic scenes in KHKT were actually not natural to Sandip's Sickand brand which tries to be 'real' but actually is just a middle class version to Ekta's affluent trash that she calls TV.

He got lucky because Karan Grover enacted those comedy scenes sooo beautifully and hes so excellent. In reality though, they never really served what was promised.

1. The show was intended to be about the love story blossoming between a TV lead star and a SURGEON, instead they never even showed the struggle of them dating properly no they straight jumped to marriage 

2. They started this bullshit Raima crap to show hes in love with someone and Sona loves him

3. This should have been a slow burn romance, its well known in ITV strategy, marriage is the HIGH point of the show; we may find it refreshing that they got married quickly but it was way too soon

4. because of the lack of romance between leads, the push and pull, the dating, the struggles while dating and then they get married and don't even go on a bloody honeymoon, no they straight away start with adoption, death, murder mystery; even Ekta tv serials show romance post wedding of some calibre

In the end the tactics that make a TV show successful, he did not utilize correctly and the promise he made that this would be a fresh show also he didn't implement correctly. This should have been a romcom show a was promised. Now its some supervirus crap which frankly is so cringe, sorry the world is grappling with a pandemic and people are dying, this is not the time to show us some lame virus track and that Sona is so special that her blood can cure humanity, give me a break while my eyes roll into skull.
