Was just reading this.. this actually quite relates the story I felt..

Also they mention the diff chakras that each of the swaroop unlocked within parvati.. so in the 4th roop it was her heart..😳

Hey Namrata, I remember watching the episodes. It was Shiva's way of reminding Parvati of her divinity and of her being Mahakaali

Exactly, I just hope that they show Maya transitioning in the company of Rudra towards her former self. Exactly, kabhi to show ka hero ladki ke liye mehnat kare - dark hero and light heroine is done to death. Let's wait to see it the other way round.

Gosh!! you are absolutely right. "dark hero and light heroine" is the norm of Desi TV serial. Any change would be more than welcome.

In Beyhad 1... Arjun the hero did not do anything for Maya. At the end, she found salvation her own way. In my opinion, Arjun made Maya worse. I hope this time around, Rudra changes the scene.

The navadurga mythos showcases, Shiv laying himself down, on Kali's patth, to bring Kali out of her rage. Kali too could not hurt Shiv... I hope somehow the creators could materialize this part of the myth.

Libran09 and NamuVyas:

The analogies between the life-cycle of Durga/Parvati and Maya are brought out well.

But how do you fit the cold-blooded murder of Rishi here? Durga even in her destructive phase did not hurt any innocent.

Even if Maya is redeemed in the end, she has to be punished for killing Rishi.

That is what I meant by the Mahagauri form, which initiates her redemption phase. She should be punished for that crime or crimes she commits. She should serve jail time or something. I mean showing her die is something we all are expecting. But she can be redeemed by making her pay for her crimes and genuinely show her regret and remorse.

Secondly, when Parvati had assumed Kali form, she wasn't able to control her nature because she was pure raw uninhibited energy. In that situation she could not differentiate between Devs and Asurs, good or bad, innocent or not innocent, she started killing one and all and was putting the creation and cosmos at risk. When Shivji stepped in between and lay down on her feet, that is when she calmed down, in shame and regret. So Maya is actually somewhere in that phase - uncontrollable and uninhibited rage and fury that's burning everything in its way. And as we can see, Rudra is pursuing her to give her the much needed calm and pause and rethink what she is doing.

If Maya is punished for her crimes, then she would serve at least 14 years of jail. Maya Rudra love story would not be possible if they show Maya going to jail. So it has to be some other kind of comeuppance.

I want Maya to die in the end. That should be the only punishment for her crimes.

Well, that is what we all know is happening, unless CVs plan to take it in another direction. But, no harm in hoping for some light at the end of this dark tunnel. Anyway, let's see.
