See we hav seen many shows where a woman transforms a man where a woman tolerates a man forgives his mistakes etc etc .what about reverse. Malayalam cinema has quite a handful in this genre like Panchagni,Kasturiman etc .But even in them the lady is not completely dark it's circumstances that make her a criminal. We hav a classic devasuram in Malayalam but not its reverse.A woman who was living badass life wants to turn a new leaf. Hindi shows less said the better. A woman can tolerate domestic violence ,crimes etc of a man and still reform him. But reverse well we don't hav. First show where love of a man was explored was Ek Hasina Thi where Dev love does put a full stop to Durga who was goin all destructive. And Beyhadh has the potential to explore this genre completely through Rudra as in EHT devga was side story while in bh2 myra is primary. In mytho we hav gauri stopping Rudra shiva's angry avatar and Shiva stopping Kali from complete destruction with their love and patience.I hope bh2 explores this genre fully as it has lot of potential and shivin and Jen are good actors and hav got great on-screen chemistry.

Exactly.. in most shows d guy carries baggage and turns dark.. and then the female lead is shown to be full of light who teaches him to love again..

It's the same here.. it's just that Mayas darkness is a little over the top because it has to correlate the title of the show.. and so will Rudra love be too.. it's like opposite forces working with the same intensity..

Also with my little knowledge of mythology.. the story is a bit like the 9 forms of durga that moved from 1 form to another in navratri.. the first form she was reborn as parvati and second form she does penance and asks vishnu for her real self and existence and he shows her the path to marry Shiva which it looks like what we are seeing in rishikesh track.. u might be able to elaborate on that .

The third form I think she changes Shiva to make him look handsome something like that and accepts the married life if I am not wrong..I feel that might be here to show how she will strengthen Rudras career and business and pluck it out of MJs hands back to give him his identity

I agree with you Namrata. The Navdurga mythos is Parvati's life cycle basically. Shailputri which is Parvati born after Sati immolated herself. Brahmacharini who does penance to get Shiva as her husband. Chandraghanta is the married form of Parvati, who is worshipped because she "inspires courage in a person and is always ready for war against demons". Kushmanda is the energy that lives inside the Sun and is luminous as the sun. Skandmata who is a mother with a baby in her lap. Katyayni or Durga destroyed Mahishasur and she is known for her anger, vengeance and ultimate victory over demons. Kalratri or Kali who is the ultimate ferocious form of Parvati where all time, light, emotions, life forms, and others all blend into her. Mahagauri is the goddess of purity and cleanliness and the flaws, faults, and mistakes of someone will be burnt to ashes and he will be redeemed. Siddhidatri who was the energy born at the beginning of the universe in its purest essence.

Putting that in the perspective of Maya, in her 1st form as innocent Maya she immolated her former self to become the sanki Maya she is today. In her 2nd form, for 10 years, she waited or did a tough penance to achieve her revenge which actually pushed her onto Rudra - and we know pleasing him was not very easy. Moving on to the 3rd form, she marries Rudra and gains the courage to fight a new war and become ready to face her nemesis Mrityunjay. In her 4th form, Maya will come out of the shadows into the light, she will live in the light and become as luminous as the light. In her 5th form, she may give birth to a child, something she lost before in her life. In her 6th form, she will assume her angry and vengeful form to destroy her enemies. In her 7th form, she assumes her ferocious form, the ultimate darkness where everything blends into one and she destroys all darkness - which is Mrityunjay. In her 8th form, she returns to her pure and clean self where all her faults and flaws will be burnt and she will get her redemption. And finally, her 9th form where she returns to purest energy for whom Shiva did a tough penance to have her by his side and was born from his left side. Maybe, just maybe, Rudra would do the same.

Let's see if this actually happens or not. High hopes, but there isn't any harm in hoping.

wonderfully put shruthi. it will be such a breath of fresh air if the show goes in that direction. Rudra as a shield between maya and her darkness, then slowly bringing her towards the light. Shivin and jen have amazing chemistry, it will be a smart idea to use it to the full extent to give us a a different love story. The hints are there but let's see if writers let it happen.

Awesome depiction of Rudra-Maya's lives chronology into Devi Parvati Navdurga mythos.

"her 9th form where she returns to purest energy for whom Shiva did a tough penance to have her by his side and was born from his left side. Maybe, just maybe, Rudra would do the same"....

It would be seriously a different aspect if the Beyhad 2 creators would allow the show to follow this path. As you say, no harm in hoping.

Wow so well told.. I am sure the makers have this is mind.. they have compared Maya and godess durga so many times in the show already.. so they know what they are doing.. I feel this 9 forms will make the crux of the story..

Also for now Mayas war will have two aspects to it.. earlier is was only revenge to what happened in the past which was her long term plan but second now is her present relationship with Rudra which wasnt in her plan..it will be a much tougher path..

I do feel that the 4th form and getting into light being in the sun will embark the love story of MayRa also how she will strengthen herself around MJ and clan.. the 5th being having a child, I think they might show her to be pregnant.. that's where the real conflict will start between past and present.. because she cant lose what she has in present, her love and baby which was previously snatched by MJ.. a dual war..

The 6th and 7th form is when I feel even Rudra will know all the truth of the past and Maya will get back to her vengeful form because surely history will somehow grow to repeat itself..and that scare Maya will always have.. which will bring out to venge all her wrong doers one by one.. we know that in the war with Mahishasur, Shiva gave her the ultimate weapon.. so I do feel Rudra will also have a strong role in her revenge saga..

So hopefully we do get a gauri full of light in the end who has her fulfilled life with the love and the baby she wanted..

Exactly, I just hope that they show Maya transitioning in the company of Rudra towards her former self. Exactly, kabhi to show ka hero ladki ke liye mehnat kare - dark hero and light heroine is done to death. Let's wait to see it the other way round.

Thanks, Namrata. I am also hoping that the show is taking this route. But I am never sure with Beyhadh makers. Woh hamesha kuch aur hi karte hai.

Also, for now, Mayas war will have two aspects to it.. earlier is was only revenge to what happened in the past which was her long term plan but second now is her present relationship with Rudra which wasnt in her plan..it will be a much tougher path..

Yes, she would have to strike a balance between her relationship as Rudra's lover and wife, and her hate and enmity for Mrityunjay.

That's true. It will be not just Maya stepping into the light from the shadows to face her nemesis, but also to illuminate her life with love. The 5th form will show her love taking a new turn with Rudra if she bears his child. In fact, it would be her karma and Rudra's as well. Mrityunjay snuffed the life out of her unborn child and so did Maya by killing Rishi. It is Rudra's karma to return the happiness to Maya of begetting a child, and Maya's karma to return the child she took away from Rudra - his baby brother Rishi.

Her 6th form will be Maya destroying all those 7 people who contributed to her devastation. And sooner or later Rudra would come to know. Now I don't know how she will destroy these people, by killing them or by using their weakness against them and eliminating them. The latter would make more sense because that may be the influence of Rudra's love. But if her "beyhadhness" takes over, I do not know. Her 7th form would be the ultimate darkness to destroy the darkness named Mrityunjay Roy and Rudra would be her guiding force.

So hopefully we do get a gauri full of light in the end who has her fulfilled life with the love and the baby she wanted..

Let' see, I do not trust the CVs at all.
