If we go by performance then salman khan who is not a great actor is number 1, Katrina isn't great actress no one has ever said she is but interms of Box office and popularity amongst there is none that came close to her popularity and, beauty and box office success last decade, Deepika got recognition after 2014 but she was never more popular than kat, she is pr made queen

Ash was always media star but priety back in 2003 and then rani from 2004 to 2006 was number one. From 2007 onwards kat started dominating till 2013

Yes i m using boi as the main site here because it is considered  as official.  Thoigh ormax is very reliable poll. That person always discredit kat's dominance as box office queen. Which is untrue

if u see her list she always rank others ahead of kat. Kareena and pc were top 3 with kat but when it was about public dominance it was kat who was always  ahead. Even in 2015 phantom opened better than piku when dp was at her peak and kat was called a has been.  Shows her star power 

Stars of the Decade (Male): Salman, Aamir, Akshay, Hrithik, SRK. In that order.

Stars of the Decade (Female): Katrina, Deepika, Kangana, Alia, Kareena.

Males, the rest would be Ajay, Ranveer, Ranbir, Tiger, and Ayushmann in that order. For females, Priyanka, Shraddha, Anushka, Vidya, and... Probably Jacqueline. Don't know.

I think rani had 6 clean hit with 1 top grosser veer zara where she didn't play the main female lead, ash had 6 with 2 top grossers of the year as main female lead, pretty had 5 with 2 top grossers of the year as female lead but never in contention for queen of of Bollywood contention.

agree Deepika piku opened below kat phantom, it only worked because it had BigB and content picked up not that it was down to Deepika lol. Kareena is overrated also, she is a star but interms of popularity she below kat, good news is akshay Kumar film who is at his best phase of his career it would of worked with any actress.
