Students my foot kamine dangai hai
Junaid Hafeez, a lecturer in the department of English literature in Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) in Multan, was arrested in 2013 after students accused him of having insulted Islam’s Prophet Muhammad and its holy book, the Quran, by uploading blasphemous content on social media. Hafeez was also accused of using blasphemous language during his lectures.
Blasphemy is a hugely sensitive subject in Pakistan, with even unproven allegations often prompting mob violence. Anyone convicted, or even just accused, of insulting Islam risks a violent and bloody death at the hands of vigilantes.
Rights groups have said the blasphemy laws are routinely abused to seek vengeance and settle personal scores, primarily property-related disputes.
In 2017, a mob had beaten up a student, Mashal Khan, to death on a university campus in Pakistan’s northwest after accusing him of blasphemy over social media.
Not sure how relevant this woman is. But the subject is.
This is the kind of tweet you get when your PR tells you, "Commenting on this issue will be good for your image" but you don't want to antagonise your selfie buddy and the "how's the josh?" gang. What does this tweet even mean, #VickyKaushal?

What is happening is not okay. The way it’s happening is not okay. People have every right to peacefully voice their opinion. This violence and disruption is both saddening and concerning as a fellow citizen. In no circumstance, must our faith in democracy be shaken.
That totally is a 'I wanna look good PR tweet'.
If he didnt wanna take a clear stand he shudve just kept quiet like 99% of scared Btown. What is this jalebi msg?
Its like saying 'wo' jo hua na. Jo 'usne' karwaya. Wo bilkul 'woh' nahi tha. Samaj gaye na baat ko.
Selfie buddy Modi has all of them wrapped around his fingers tht sly a**
Another dissatisfied neitzen.
What's the wrong with the tweet? Maybe he wants to act politically correct. So what? Will it make any difference to the current situation other than few people arguing over it for nothing. How is it so important?
I really don't understand this whole scrutiny over each BW celeb and their reactions for every issue.
Reaction na do toh problem; are called spineless. Reaction de do to bhi problem; 'ignorant' or 'pathetic' tag mil jaayga. Try to act neutral and show hope for both sides, tab bhi problem.
Poor BW celebs.😆
I’m not a big fan but even if he or for the matter of fact anyone posts such a tweet which in no way is attacking anyone what is the ladies’s business? It’s their wish to speak/tweet about it whether they say it out of genuine concern or as a part of pr stunt. Tumhara kya ja raha hai!? Tum apne kaam se matlab rakho na. Having said that i feel people are raising opinions about the cab without exactly knowing what are the exact details. 80% of the country has no clue whatsoever but are protesting, goons are entering from nowhere and creating ruckus, sociologists and other people related in such fields are shockingly giving mindless opinions because they are thinking in one direction “religion”.
Anna Vetticad is right..in the sense that people like him are bandwagoners .. an idiot one at that..
When a guy could survive the entire ecosystem of state , local, and central machinery against him in 2002 and the years that followed, as if he is going to be frazzled by all this when he the country's PM.
The level of ignorance (or feigned ignorance) about NRC and CAB among the protestors is mind-boggling. Kudos to the police though for doing their job in handling the "peaceful protests"
Dheeraj kumar passes away today in mumbai.he was 79 RIP from india Forum I remember his movie Deedar in the 1970's or so.
