Theories on WHY Shukla is getting favored so much by channel/host?

Please pick which of the following theories resonates the most and sound most believable to you. Or share you own.

some theories:

1: He is giving the most TRP, so this favoritism is his return gift.

2: He has an internal connection in channel. Koi pehchaan ka admi in high level pulling strings.

3. He had a meeting before show with channel head (like Shilpa admitted she was pursued hard in her season) convincing him to sign and go all out and in return he will get an easy ride/channel support.

4. He GENUINELY is salmans favorite.

5. They are making a point for future seasons contestants. That if you play freely and go all out we will have your back. Thereby encouraging and ensuring good TRP in future seasons too

6. The channel is only pretending to favor him, they are building him up for content but secretly have another favorite in mind who they are protecting and planning to crown.

The problem with internal connection theory is that is it stronger than VG or Tanisha?

He is channel's favourite , also a huge trp puller.

I don't like him though.

Very well thought of possibilities. Seems 2,3 or 6.

As someone is arguing why show SS in bad light, if they want him to win, so makes option 6 a possibility.

I will say no.2, because he said tum to Salman.

1 and 3 as per my thinking..

I think 1 is definitely the clear primary reason.

A combination of 2 and 3 is also possible as a secondary reason, given that they have been pursuing him for over 5 seasons and that he has worked for Colors in successful shows before.

6 is an interesting one. For all the camera time cutting, Salman bashing etc - the show does take care of Rashmi weirdly in their own way. Plus, she also has a successful history with the channel, so in the back of their minds, Rashmi could be the potential winner.

I think if somehow we reached this top 6: Sid, Asim, Sana, Rashmi, Paras, Shefali - and then the bias is loosened and they are all get treated equally I'd be fine with it in the big picture. But truth is, as shown by the last two episodes, the show has become boring. The competitive streak seems pointless and the show is pushing Shukla at the cost of its own competitiveness and unpredictability. Asim and Vishal stood there for hours holding that apple, but by putting it down to vote, Shef/Himanshi had to vote for Shukla as Salman had shown them so negatively for the last task incident. So, the whole interest level and competitiveness is now compromised because who wants to mess to Shukla and get screamed at on national TV by the country's biggest movie star again and again? Better to just bite the bullet..

Bhai bhatija hoga channel ke executives ka. VG was only connected to Ekta kapoor. She has more pull at Star Plus than Colors. And Tanisha was Kajol’s sister. I think Ajay personally requested Salman to go easy on her. Channel ki woh fave nahi thi isliye Gauhar ko jitaya.

Sid pe pakka kisi pohochi hui hasti ka haath he. Maybe the creative executive. Ya fir Abhishek Rege ka koi rishtedaar ho.
