What Kalyani was feeling, was exactly portrayed by your words.

Di , Kalyani ki life is full of adventure, and there is one companion of her also. That is Malhar rane.

i could only stare wide eyed as he sat there on

my bed with a hopeful expression.

he wanted to talk to me, to know my story, know me....

i shook my head to get over my surprise induced daze.

"kahan ko gayi ho...aage bhi toh bolo..." he said.

and then i began telling him my rather adventurous story.

well you could even make a movie out of it to be honest.

he listened patiently as i poured my heart out.

a few tears were even shed but thanks to bappa i was able to control my nose leaking till now.

i mean that would have been really embarrassing specially with him sitting in front of him.

but alas it was getting out of hand.

he understood my problem and handed me his hand kerchief.

is this the same man aao saheb said was evil?

man that woman is nuts.

if she finds this malhar rane evil no wonder she sees me as devil's spawn.

"ab tumne apni story bata hi diya hai toh mujhe bhi batana padega..." he seemed lost in thought.

i definitely didn't like the frown that was taking a residence on his face .

"nahi malharji you don't have to ...if it makes u sad i mean.."

he just chuckled...oh those dimples.

bappa stop it ...how can i concentrate with those damn dimples showing.

"nothing like that kalyani...i guess you know it anyway."

oh fudge should i tell him i knew his wife ran away with an useless fellow.

nahi kalyani nahi...you cant harm those dimples.

"you know i can see all the emotions on your face...i know you know...so you don't need to worry about my feelings.." he said again chuckling.

oh bappa again with those dimples!

okay kalyani...focus..yes focus.

"am sorry malharji....but it was better it happened.."

suddenly his dimples disappeared and frown came back in full force.

oh bappa kya kah diya tune kalyani....

"i mean ...dekho malharji what if she stayed and continued to cheat on you for her whole life....that would be even worse na...atleast now you are free from that fake love." i said and closed my eyes in fear.

everything was silent...damn jab chahiye tho milti nahi yeh silence ab dekho chapad faad ke.

i slowly opened my eyes to see him watching me curiously.

ok kalyani..deep breathes....deep breathes..

"am sorry malharji..mein bas.."

he cut me off

"nobody put it like that for me and for the first time am thankful she ran." he said surprising me.

'ufff mein toh dar hi gayi thi malharji..aap na ithna silent mat hoyiye.."

he shook his head.

damn there is that dimples again.

waise aayi said he forgot to smile.

yeh log issi malhar rane ki baath kar rahe teh na.

yeh kithne cutely smile karthe hai..and that too with those devil gifted dimples.

"kalyani..are you ok?"

oh fudge caught day dreaming!

"haan hoon na..."

"tumne kuch kaaya...it doesn't look like they care enough to bring food for you."

"aayi hai na malharji..inn festivals mein tho nahi shaamil ho sakoon par saara khana tho mein hi khaathi hoon." i said with a cheeky smile.

he just shook his head.

please don't smile..those dimples r gonna kill me please.

shoot.. there goes my heart.

"be glad nazeeb hai yeh khana warnna mujhe kahan milta hai...am the lone ranger..bai kuch kana dethi hai kha letha hoon."

"oh malharji...that is bad..koyi nahi mein laathi hoon na aaj."

"kya? nahi nahi kisi ne dekh liya toh outhouse bhi nazeeb nahi hoga." he said with a chuckle but by his hopeful face i knew he wanted it.

"arrey aap tension math lijiye malharji...i will jump your balcony..fikar not."

"you do know na am acp?" he asked teasingly.

"arey acp ke balcony ke horns hote hai kya..aap kuch math boliye mein laawoongi that is final..waise bhi aapne meri ithni baatein suni...thodi der ke liye hi sahi i felt normal..atleast for that i should do this."

"mein hamesha yehi hoon...if you need anything you can just call me ..aur yeh normal wali baath..i don't think you can ever be just normal cuz you are much..much above that."

oh god oh god..is it okay to melt into a puddle.

"ab mein chaltha hoon..kisi ne dekh liya toh they will most probably throw you out." he said as he stood up to go.

math jayiye na....

"bye" was all that came out of my mouth instead.
