Part I
The Weave
(I was planning to write and post it on Sunday but the last episode of the show and that scene of VJ with Toral and not a glimpse of Meera in the show just cringed me, irritated me. I just wanted to get out of it. I did a mistake of seeing the last episode so posting it a short one just to start.)
At the Mansion
It was a calm Friday evening with the boys back from school and the roses too playing with them. Chakor was off to meet the social welfare officers and was picked up by Raaghav. They met with Renu and the baby which was completing 4 months and was returning home happy discussing about the program which Aayansh wanted to attend.
Chakor, the cubs want to see some movie Marvel so have organized at our home theatre. Raaghav had converted the underground into a home theatre as taking the roses to theatre was herculean task as they would not sit in one place and Adi was hyper when it comes to action sequence and Anan would start dancing for a song.
They were at the dinner table when the cubs were bringing food from the kitchen along with Raamu kaka and Girija was nowhere to be seen. Where is mausi Raagahv asked when Ar was serving the roti’s along with Aa. Daddy mausi is not well she is having knee pain, so we thought to help her as Manju didi was also feeling sick, we don’t know what but she told she was having stomach pain. Raamu kaka cannot manage all and as Mumma had also gone out we told Manju didi to take rest though she was not willing to and we helped kaaka while Mausi was guiding us. RagKor indeed felt proud of the boys as though they had made the rotis in the shape of various continents still the thought to help was appreciated. Raaghav immediately called for the doctor and he went to Girija, Mausi why didn’t you tell me about this. Raamu said mausi is finding it difficult to climb stairs too but she is not telling anything. What to do age is catching up all walked in Shyaam Kaaka…
He appreciated the boys, wah Ar and Aa you have made yummy dinner. Great. He said you have proved that you can compete with the girls in the kitchen competition when Ar said Kaaka men are good at cooking too like Sanjeev Kapoor who is an excellent chef. They all had a laugh. Haan Raaghav I too will try to avoid staying in the mansion as I too find it difficult to climb the stair up… and you don’t want me to stay in the rooms down as you feel they are small.
The Dr checked Girija and said she is developing arthritis and her knee are getting worn off due to age and also the work and advised her to avoid climbing stairs. She said no no Dr saab I will be alright once I take Dolo na he looked at Arjun who would give her when she wanted a pain killer. But I cannot be without climbing as the rooms are up and I have to take care of all the rooms. This kept Raagahv thinking. The Mansion by its name was indeed like a palace with most of the rooms and the cubs and few guests room in the first floor and the big living and the RagKor master bedrooms and the interconnected roses room on the second floor. The Ground floor had the massive drawing and living room, the dining, huge kitchen, store,the gym, play room and the Pooja with the kids play rooms along with the rooms for Girija and a dormitory for the other staff of the Mansion. The underground had store, home theatre.
They were in their home theatre… the boys watched Marvel while the girls wanted to watch Barbie princess. The boys were excited also the girls were alongwith their bros. while Ragkor were on their mattress placed on their floor. Anan was with Chakor playing with toys while Chakor was resting on Raaghav shoulders.
Raaghav was not interested but the boys enjoyed with him though he would say, arey I don’t understand the way they speak in the English movie I like only my Amitabh, Akshay, SRK, Salman ka movies ekdam mast hai, kya fight hai…. Rowdy always wants fight she would elbow him… he would pull her and say in her ears not only fight, romance bi mast bey winking at her while birdie would blush and smile. Hmm you don’t like emotions Rowdy… arey kya rona dona bey, apun ko gaana, maarna aur pyaar karnaa bahuthey pasand hai bey..
But daddy and Mumma, I love Superman, Batman, Marvel, Superheroes who save the world. Are they born with super powers? asked Aayansh….. hugging mumma. They are good as they save people… But they should come always na? how can they go everywhere to save people? he asked.
Yes Aayansh, We cannot wait for a superman to come save, we have to turn our inner strength into super power, bring the boldness in us.. we should be able to save ourselves in any situation . it is not necessary to always use the might but we must be shrewd to use our mind to escape from a difficult situation said Arjun…. Very right Arjun yes one should be wise to handle a situation applauded Chakor.
But its scary na bhai said Aayansh… Mumma was a baby when she was bonded but she did not cry na, she was not born with super powers but she is indeed super mumma, Ar hugged her and take dad how brave he is. He will just thwart everything in seconds. My Hero, Ar hugged Raaghav, I love you dada he said… Na na bhai but I cannot do like you and dad dhushum, I feel scared. Hmmm but we don’t know how we will change when we are put through such a situation Arjun said. The film was over and they ran off to do their homework, while the roses were waiting to see their movie.
It was the movie of Barbie Princess which was more of a fairly tale with a prince coming to wake up the Barbie from her deep sleep which was cast by a witch… Chakor was mesmerized in the movie and was clapping and enjoying with the roses while Raaghav was just admiring her innocence. Her eyes glew bright looking at the stars,the swing etc. she turned to see Raaghav looking at her when she asked what? He nodded pulling her close pushing her strands , sometimes I find it difficult to see who is the child you or the roses… you get so excited with this fairy movie…. She rested on him with dreamy eyes was telling, yes how pretty Barbie is… her gown…the way she is happy with the Prince, swinging, carefree lying on the open ground looking up to the skies for the stars and moons, her eyes were dreamy. You like it he asked. Haaan yes a big open ground with smoke and snow around, with that outfit , lying on the grass with a Prince looking up at the stars and moon… that would be bliss she said … hmmm I can say you are indeed like the Barbie beautiful, cupping her face but you must get a Prince he said. She looked at him cupping his face saying what are you talking, You are my Prince Raaghav, and if I get a chance,she said dreamily, would like to lie on the ground with you, looking into those stars, moon and drench in your love…somewhere away far away in a fairy land. She blushed when he came close to give her a peck when the able deputy shouted daddy look how beautiful the dress is I want a barbie dress she said. He just came to sense and quickly hugged Ananya and said my princess wants a Barbie dress. Haaannn she kissed him. Ok daddy will get you tomorrow he said. She clapped with happiness.
There was a shout mummaaaa, haaaaa… Arjunnnnn…… Ragkor shouted running to see Arjun had skid and fallen down and had sprained theleg. Pappa its allright its just a sprain he said. No No he was lifting him not allowing him to keep his foot on the floor. Carrying him to his room. Aa was with him always holding him when Chakor sprayed medicine and said in two days he will be fine. Raaghav was in tears, is it paining, shall we go to the hospital. Daddy this is nothing please…. Go sleep. He kissed the cubs and went to his room.

The day dawned and there were few specialists in structural engineering who were studying the Mansion’s structure for installing a residential lift and Raaghav was talking with the civil engineer for some modification.
Lift??? Girija was surprised. Hamaraliye!!! Yes Mausi, you are not going to climb stairs any more, and Shyaam Kaaka you cannot escape from staying here he smiled, for the kids and all enjoyed kaaka staying as he would share old stories and his experiences. But this is, mausi felt emotional…. Mausi will I not do it if it was for my mother he said.
The installation work for the lift started to go till the top floor and the backside of the Mansion space which was facing the living room was used not hampering the sturdy walls. The work would take 1 to 2 weeks.

It was night when they were in their balcony. Raaghav you are indeed so great I am so proud of you and you take care of everyone even Mausi, but I am sorry I did not even ask or realise about your mom. What happened to your mom? He had a bit of tears… Chakor I have not been lucky as after being with the boys I went to my village thinking to bring my mom as kaaka had told me only to found that she was suffering from severe diabetes and when she had hurt herself the wound had developed into severe gangrene and the infection had spread through her body that she breathed last. I am sorry she said…
She hugged him saying indeed you have gone through too much …he smiled dry and went to check on the cubs and the roses.
They retired to bed cuddling each other with a hope of the next day dawning fine but destiny had started to weave its web the web which would bring the shocking side of the story…

Bhaaaaiiiiii he called frantically…… the baby is missing……..she went with mom to the temple but …..he was crying unconsolable.
Bhai.... I love you…. He left………..Why I feel I will not see him again…. He felt somewhat weird. I should not have ………………….
He came to meet the boys at the Mansion but he has not returned home cried his father…..
He got down from the bus to pick his pad when the speeding car just grabbed him from the junction. Who are you, he cried leave meee……one hard hit he felt blackened.
Why didn’t you tell this early? They were disheartened… I could not as it happened before I joined you Bhaiii cried his heart out holding the photo frame….
Whats happening… she cried…..
