I hope that Babita is still not in love with Ashok after all that he has done and said to her. They had no relationship when he used to come to India and meet like strangers. Same with Mini, her Father was a stranger to her who had no idea that she had grown.

She came to know that they had a 10 year live relationship and must have known that they will marry and have children as well.

The looks that She was giving Mini was stupid. Even Mini was forced to say why she helped Mita and did ask Mini to bring her In.

I think the reason that Mini does not like Mita is due to Babita. Will Mini accept her Sibling, due to Babita feeling or will she reject it. I hope they handle it well. As Mita as a Stepmother is not bad. As Mini is rude to her.

She can laugh and chat on line with a Stranger but gets annoyed and rude to HS. Lately there is considerable confusion where the Cv's want to take her.

I don't think she's in love with him. In fact I don't think she was ever in love with him. It's just a typical feelings of bondage that develops when a woman is made to believe that she has to live with her husband and love him and his family as her own. Otherwise she never had the pleasure of experiencing his love or love him back..

So there's no question of she being still in love with him. I have been hoping she will fall in love with Hanuman singh for the first time, but the CVS are making Babes a typical TV female lead who would take an eternity to move on from her first marriage bitterness.

Frankly it would irritate me no end if she still harbours any feelings for the guy. In fact it irritates me to see her not moving on vis a vis the khuranas as a whole! Even giving a job to sukhi for that matter even if he's a nice guy! She must make a clean break if she has to move on!

As for Minnie, she is ashok's daughter only biologically!! He has never been a parent to her. Didn't even remember how old she was, has been forever absent from their life both physically and emotionally.

He never had feelings for babita. I wonder how she was blind enough not to notice or feel this for all those years!

Now that all this should be clear to both of them they should leave their baggage and move on.

Hanuman has been more of a father to Minnie in such a short span of time than Ashok ever was for those many years. It is to him that she turns for advice and in him that she seeks solace.

High time the mother-daughter duo realize all this with the utmost clarity of mind. Honestly it is NOT that difficult.

I have gone through shit and know what I am talking about trust me!

What distresses me is how they are both taking HS for granted, especially Babita! Not even a thanks ever! She feels it's very normal for someone to bring the dosa guys right at her doorstep, doesn't have the decency to offer him a few dosas, or to say THANK YOU! She thinks it's absolutely right to disturb him late at night when he is in deep sleep time and again, the latest being the no wifi upstairs thingie, making so much noise killing mosquitoes, etc.

They JUST DON'T realize his worth and this is really annoying me no end!

You seem to be very much pissed with Babes 😆

In fact when they started this love track, I wasn't that interested or happy as I hoped they would keep them as just friends but they started HS feelings in a full fledged manner and haven't shown anything from Babes side.

It's so typical in TV shows to a female lead like this. Men will easily move on and fall for another woman even after a good marriage but women won't. Can't help the stereotypes

But there was no love in her marriage sweetheart! No love, no caring, no sharing, no companionship, just the idea of the sanctity of the institution which has been busted due to the horrible divorce she had to go through and the repeated insults from Ashok and even taking her on in her business venture. After all this why would she still nurture any feelings for such a creep?? Beats me!

Had it been a decent marriage gone sour and a second woman angle, pregnancy, etc,, I agree it's bound to be difficult to move on but this was far from being the case isn't it?

I don't deny, there was nothing in her marriage with Ashok to hold onto it's memories . But that's what I'm saying, it's like a typical stereotype in tv shows. That an ideal Female lead won't move on that easily even if she had a bad marriage...

I hoped PB would be different but no, they're making Babes the same way.

Deep down, I think Babita is afraid of being hurt again and giving HS that power to see her vulnerability and take advantage of it.

She isn't in love with Ashok but she probably can't stand that he just moves on so easily. Another hard lesson she has to learn and mental block she must overcome.

As for HS, I think Imarti passed away a few years ago and he's remained alone since. He's a dashing young policeman, so he could have remarried ages ago, but didn't. He doesn't seem to have been looking for love either. He gradually fell for Babita without expecting such a thing would ever happen. Initially he thought he was attracted to her because she reminded him of Imarti but later he understood that he loved her for her. It took him time to get over the grief of Imarti and I think on some level he still grieves for her.

Babita still needs time to let go of her baggage 100% and to really grasp the fact that her identity doesn't need to be tied to a man, and Ashok's mistakes cannot and should not define her present or future.

I also feel mother-daughter take HS for granted, especially Babita, but perhaps when there is a fallout, they will really understand his value. It would be better if they go to him instead and ask to him to be part of their lives. HS is very generous but never at the expense of his self-respect.

I still feel his love of Minnie outweighs his attraction to Babita, and he would never want to hurt her. If she doesn't accept him as a father, I think he would definitely back off. I am sure those scenes would be mind-blowing.

The writing is fantastic on this show. On one end of the spectrum, we have a selfish, cheap, and rude Ashok, and on the other hand we have a selfless, dignified, and decent HS. Babita was initially very meek and now she is moving towards the other end where she confuses self-respect with ego. Minnie used to be excessively bad-tempered, but the security she feels because of HS has allowed her to calm down and act like a kid instead of an adult all the time.

You've said a lot of things in a beautiful way. I agree 100%.

I want to add a few things about Babita. I understand that should've moved on but that's only how a third person would always feel. What I love about the show is that this show hits home. When you've been rejected, it changes you. Babita was rejected. She might still pray but somewhere she is might also be angry at God.

I look forward to Friday's precap, to be honest. Naeem Bi was so right. And I am glad CVs have touched the topic. It's not like Babita is in love with Ashok. She's probably not. But expecting her to fall in love with HS, no matter how great he is, is unreal. If she says yes, it would be because either she wants to prove it to herself that she has moved on, or to Ashok or to the world. Not because she loved HS. Just like HS initially fell for Babita because she was so similar to Imarti. It's only natural. As you said, she probably can't stand he moved on so quick.

Also, sometimes, unknown, unrecognized anger makes you do things. Give her a year or two and she'll be over things. She can't be over a 17-year-old marriage in a few months, where she looks at her daughter every day and unconsciously reminded of the betrayal. All of this is something she is not even thinking. But it is there. So any decision she takes now will be to show Ashok. Hell, she even wants to grow in her business and become super successful so that she can show Ashok that she is strong and he could not break her. A marriage now will definitely be for Ashok. And this is natural. As you said she needs time to understand that Ashok's mistakes cannot and should not define her present or future.

Also, with the love story to continue, Minnie is a very important factor. Unless she approves of it, HS and Babita will not accept love. And Minnie will take her own sweet time to understand and accept love!.

This is the most distressing thing for me. I can understand Babita and Mini taking time, etc..etc...but taking a good man for granted....is too much.

I noticed the only time Babita mentions HS's ehsaan is when she is actually being nasty to him. Till today I never heard either Babita or Mini say a "THANK you " to HS for the Police catering. When he gave them check, they were dancing but did they thank him?

And this dosa wala....they started eating. Not one thank you to HS.

It is extremely annoying.

I guess we all have our POV. This is just my feeling. It's not going to change unless Babita and Mini have some decency to thank him.

Btw were you there in EDKV and the Namit Palak show? I think I have seen you in those forums.
