Pretty sure the $$$ is Better when you play male lead than supporting lead. That could be a factor.

And, Ekta does her own thing, and she does favours to people she likes.., I'm sure she found someone else to play Namiks role in KZK and shifted him there, like 2 days after he said he didn't want to get typecast. So def interested to see who plays Namik's role now.
