Jasleen NEVER SAID that, she saw Surbhi smoking, but she always said how she thought she smoke because of the smoke smell, tissue paper mark, and Surbhi saying keep quiet, don't say anything

If Jasleen had seen Surbhi smoking, she would have not said to Surbhi that, were you smoking and then Surbhi told her to keep quiet

Jasleen would not lie because if she was lieing, then she would have made this issue a long time ago, but she just thought this is a valid reason for sending someone to kaal kothri , Surbhi made this a big issue otherwise Jasleen would have just discussed this in the nomination process only

Also, Saba and Somi accusing Jasleen of not saying anything to Surbhi that day is wrong because Jasleen did say to her that day to not continue smoking in the washroom from next time and even Surbhi was nodding during that time

From what I saw, initially when Jasleen had a bunch of housemates surrounding her (Deepak, Jalota, Shiv etc.), she said Surbhi smokes in the bathroom and she saw the cigarette in the tissue when she left and then when she wanted to ask Surbhi about her, she said "quiet, quiet". And Jalota said, Surbhi then sprays perfume all over to mask the smell.

When Shiv questioned her about it again, whether she actually saw her smoking, Jasleen changed her words and said she saw the imprint of the butt on the tissue.

She brought up the issue out of nowhere; she didn't have to unless Surbhi continued to smoke in there which doesn't appear to be the case. Afterwords, she said she didn't even want to take the name of the person and she didn't intend to talk about it. But she kept going on about it the whole day. Saba/Somi were right - why raise it now to everyone else, why not then? She just needed a reason to send her to jail and she used it now, and made sure everyone knew and it was prominent. It's a pretty sneaky move.

Surbhi I think panicked because she didn't want her mom to find out (if she did smoke). Jasleen knows she's iffy about it - with Surbhi saying "quiet, quiet" - and raised it anyway. So what was she expecting? It's exactly like Romil said. And everyone told her she back-tracked on her words, when she said she wasn't sure if Surbhi smoked during nominations. PS Jasleen brought it up before nominations herself to inform everyone else. It is shady.
